Hi all,
Everyone sleeps!

So here are some discussion questions to start off a conversation about sleep :)

Are you a good sleeper?
Are you a night owl or early bird?
Can you sleep when there's a lot of noise or light?
Can you sleep easily with other people around or in new environments?
How many hours of sleep do you normally get?
How many pillows do you have?
What else is on your bed?
Do you like to sleep when it's warm or cool?
Do you take anything to help you sleep better?
Do you like your mattress to be hard, soft, in between, memory foam?

*Idk, what signifies a good sleeper?
*night owl
*Nope
*Depends
*pfffft 4
*I sleep with 2 but I always wake up having one, the other slipped out from the bottom and in between my bed and wall
*Me, myself, and I
*COLD! Heat makes me sleepy, but not comfy, cold air makes it comfy
*Rarely this pm stuff that sometimes doesn't even work
*Soft, memory foam works for me, too

Hmm I'm not sure there is a strict definition for what signifies a good sleeper, but I guess I'm really asking whether you usually get a good sleep (by your standards)?

I am an early bird stuck in night owl mode. I prefer to go to bed a little early and wake up early with the wonderful sun, but now I am staying up late studying, plus most of my friends go to bed late. So then I end up following a similar schedule. It's interesting because my roommate is an early bird. She regularly goes to bed several hours before I do and wakes up several hours before as well. But she is also kind of required to do that. And then next week she has overnight shifts so over the weekend, she has to adjust her sleep schedule entirely so that she doesn't fall asleep at her shift.

I prefer to sleep in silence and in darkness. I definitely have fallen asleep when it has been bright or loud, but my preference is dark and quiet. I just seem to fall asleep faster in that kind of environment.

I don't sleep very well in new environments, unless I am with a loved one in which case it is easier. But it is always easiest to sleep on my own bed.

I'm a terrible sleeper... I never wake up refeshed and I generally never get to sleep when I want to.
I am definitely a night owl but I have to be an earlier bird for work. (8am)
I can sleep in lots of noise/light because to sleep I essentially pass out.
I don't sleep easily in general.
I get about as much sleep as my body allows...
Two pillows, one for me and one for my cat. She gets a body pillow.
Otherwise my bed has blankets and a cat.
I like being very very warm when I sleep. Helps a bit.
I try to avoid medications so I do not take anything before bed.
I like my bed softer, but I don't really know, all my beds to far have sucked.

Right now, I have two beds that I sleep in. The bed I am sleeping in tonight has one pillow, one bed liner, a comforter, and a blanket.
