How do you get a frind code?

On your 3DS menu, there's a little icon that looks like a smiley face at the top of the screen. If you click that you'll be able to find your friend code.

Oh goodness. I need to go run and unplug my Ds from the charger. So game to trade friends codes. I only really have pokemon and hyrule warriors legends though(hyrule being i don't know how to do online stuff yet, never done it) but on pokemon i like to give shinys away, i just have to re purchase poke bank so i can trade them up from black.

Does anyone still do this? I have a 3ds but sadly I don't own any of the games mentioned above. Just Fantasy Life and Monster Hunter United

Though pokemon is probably the best one to grab that doesn't really allow for much actual playing together.

I adored black and white for that feature. xD It was so fun to run around on the "same screen" as my hubby because of the online connection world thing they had. But all of those features went poof, and online isn't even a thing :[ is is sad.
