Name: Kwon Kibum (KR)
Age: June 13, 1994 (23)
Role: Leader, Main Rapper (Mid-range tone); Dancer

SPOILERX

Looks: Tall (5’10”) and thin. His face is somewhat angular, but with soft full lips and large eyes. He’s got a lean and toned body, not a lot of bulky muscles, but it’s definitely clear he works out and takes care of his body. It’s the type of body a martial artist would have. His hair is shaggy, slightly long hair cut in a lot of layers to give it body and volume. He prefers his hair to be a natural light dirty blonde, but he also always has a streak of some fun color in his hair; for their debut, it’s a dark teal.
Fashion: He’s not super interested in fashion, but he does enjoy looking good and dressing nice. He tends to accentuate relatively normal outfits (tight-fitting jeans, tight patterned t-shirts), but there’s usually one unique piece usually in the form of shoes or a necklace. His ears are also pierced ears (both lobes and his left cartilage). He tends to wear simple silver studs with maybe diamond-like crystals adorning him. The one in his cartilage is always a simple silver loop with a metal bead on it.
Personality: KR is confident in his abilities; he knows he’s good at what his specialties are and he likes to show people that. He’s good in interviews and in front of a camera, even if sometimes he’s a little bit clueless. Most times he tries to show off his abilities, something goes wrong, but he plays it off well. As a leader, he’s strict but kind. He wants them to do well, so he’s tough on them when he needs to be. But he also works to encourage them when times are hard. He’s friendly and personable overall.
Talents: Hapkido. Participated in hapkido from a young age, but stopped to pursue his idol training. Definitely gets trotted out for doing jumps on variety shows; Animal sounds (mosquito, chicken, dog, tiger (fail), cat purring)
Likes: Hanging out with his members and his friends. He’s most content when he’s around other people.
Dislikes: Being alone and being left to his own devices. He’s a people person.
Bio: KR was born and raised in Seoul. He always knew he wanted to get involved in singing/rapping and hopefully get signed to a company. It took him a bit longer to convince his parents it was something he could do. However, he came to the company when he was 17 and is ecstatic to finally be debuting.

Name: Yoon Hyunki
Age: February 28, 1995 (22)
Role: Main Dancer (specialty hip-hop), SubVocals (high voice)

SPOILERX

Looks: (5’7”) His face is round and cute. Hyunki prefers his hair to be a dark reddish brown or a dark auburn. His current hairstyle is short and spiky, but he has grown his hair out long in the past. He’s slightly stocky, but not super muscled; he’s got a strong core that helps him pull of some of the more complicated hip-hop moves in his dance. He’s got the type of body you’d expect from someone whose done a lot of street dancing. He’s got darker colored caramel skin.
Fashion: His fashion is decidedly b-boy. He wears a lot of looser clothing and baggy jeans. He has a particular preference for sleeveless clothing that shows of his muscular arms, so lots of tank tops and vests. His favorite item of clothing is a hoodie with it’s sleeves cut off. He tends to wear mostly converse. He’s got his left cartilage pierced and usually wears a variety of hoops and studs in it. His not particular about the color of his clothes and will wear a variety of colors, both light and dark.
Personality: Despite his looks, he’s shy, quiet, and soft-spoken. Introverted but kind. He prefers sitting on the outskirts of the conversation listening. However, he will talk your ear off about dance. The other members know not to get him started. It’s very rare for him to speak up in interviews. He loves the members though and always has a quiet, encouraging word for them, often causing him to be seen as the mother of the group.
Interests: Dance, dance-offs. Before coming to the company, he participated in dance competitions and did a bit of street dancing. Outside of dance, he is fascinated by languages: how they work and learning them. He’s always working toward learning more languages. He’s fluent in Korean and English. Conversationally fluent in Chinese and is currently trying to learn Spanish.
Likes: Butterfingers. Crappy American television. In particular shows like Catfish and Say Yes to the Dress
Dislikes: Large crowds without some sort of buffer. Shouting and loud noises
Talents: Traditional Aegyo (so the gwiyomi numbers, oppaya, and maybe the ‘I dreamed a ghost’ aegyo, things like that) and showing of his b-boying moves that he learned during street competition and in America
Bio: Despite being born in Seoul, South Korea, Hyunki was raised around English his whole life. His father is an American-born Korean who moved back when he met Hyunki’s mother. He was raised speaking both languages in the home. He’s also been to the U.S. many times as his dad still works with the corporation there and the family sometimes ended up living in America if his father had a longer stay there. Hyunki was originally supposed to join his father’s corporation, but instead started dancing around the age of 8 and by the time he was 13 was being noticed by companies. He signed the company when he was 16.

Name: Xavier Lee (Lee Taehyun)
Age: November 20, 1998 (18)
Role: Maknae, Main Rapper, and Sub Dancer

SPOILERX

Looks: (6’0”) Xavier is tall and broad with clear muscle definition in his arms and chest. He’s all long lines and angles, looking the exact opposite of what one would expect the maknae to look like. His face is sharp and angular with a long high nose and larger hooded eyes. He tends to keep his hair mostly black and it falls to his ears in a bunch of stylish waves He’s got light colored skin and there’s something delicate to his features despite the sharp angles they protrude at.
Fashion: His style is almost some sort of preppy jock, very much something you’d see in countries outside of Korea than for people born in Korea to wear. He wears lots of printed graphic tees with letter jackets, and other loose-fitting jackets. He tends to wear non-fitted (but well cut jeans). His shoes are always some type of athletic shoe. It’s a type of comfortable, stylish wear that fits his personality and the relaxed confidence he has about him. (Reference for style)
Talent: Girl group dance (really good and serious), freakishly good at the eating lemon competition, and random animal facts
Personality : Xavier takes great pleasure from annoying his hyungs, having figured out the things that are most likely to drive them up the wall and quickly working to exploit that whenever it suits him. Other than that, he’s pretty personable and friendly, enjoying being around other people and the members. He’s not always the best of maknae, partially from being from a foreign western country. He wasn’t raised fully around the same age dynamics as the members, despite being from a Korean family.
Likes: Going to the beach and boating, being outdoors in general
Dislikes: People making fun of his accent
Bio: Xavier was born in Brisbane, Australia to a Korean family that moved their to work in wildlife and nature conservation, so he was raised around animals and taking care of them his whole life. It was a bit of a surprise to his family when he decided not to go into conservation, but while he enjoyed working with animals, he never found it quite as fulfilling as his parents. He’d always cared more about rap and music, even self-releasing a mixtape at the age of 15. He moved to Korea at the age of 17, after succeeding in a global audition for M*Star Entertainment. It was a rapid course to debut for him, in which he had to refine his Korean and learn a lot of the customs of the country, but the company felt it was best for him to debut with 007 rather than waiting.

“Shin” Park Shinwoo
Age: 20 (’97)
Role: main dancer, visual/performer

SPOILERX

Talents: freestyle dancing and origami folding
Voice: He has a unique voice with a slightly slurred pronunciation. He sings higher than he talks.
Nationality: Korean
Appearance: He has typical Korean small eyes and a face that sits on the edge of sexy and cute. His hair is dyed light blonde and he stands 5'6" tall with some muscle from dancing, mostly in his arms and torso. His favorite clothing item is a black and grey striped jacket. Otherwise, he's partial to black and simple clothing like long sleeves, or hoodies. Edgy, though or a casual punk style. He's not overly fashionable, so his home wear is much simpler than how he prefers to be dolled up on stage which is usually a very cool/sexy image. His idea of dressing cool is torn jeans and graphic tees or tank. Practices in tank top and sweats, or his hoodie. He wears three chain bracelets (two gold, one silver that has charms of a simple figure & a music note) when not on stage and an earring in his left ear that dangles down slightly.
Personality- He’s a person that very much wants to have a cool person persona. Suave, sexy, a hint of bad boy. And for a while, he can pull it off flawlessly. It leads him to speak less like he’s being mysterious, but in reality, he struggles with cameras, speaking, and that part of show biz. He’s only not conscious of his surroundings and watching eyes when he’s lost in a performance. He lives for dance and giving a show, but can be quite shy. This embarrassment infuriates him and he tends to get snappy, both of which irritate him even more. As much as he denies his interest in cute things, when he’s shy or sulky (and he can sulk hard core when he loses), it shows through. In rare moments, especially when he thinks no one is looking, he becomes much more like a kid. When he does let loose, his laughter is free and bright and he forgets his fears and unease as if it was never there. Most of the time though, he’s serious, perfectionistic, and dedicated to his art to the degree that it can damage his health. A loner with a temper and habits of pushing people away, he makes a first impression as either cold, or unpleasant, but in truth, he wants to be a part of the group and have friends. He’s awkward and still a child that just wants to grow up and put the past behind him already.
Likes: pork, video games, dogs, and polar bears.
Dislikes: milk, roller coasters, horror & the supernatural, being called cute, and skinship.
Bio: He has always had a semi-tense relationship with his parents. After finishing he, he left home and auditioned. Failed at the first place he tried due to nerves, but was accepted at his second audition. Has not spoken to his parents since as they do not approve of his being an idol. Was an average student and learned dance on his own from watching MV’s. He has no friends outside of the group currently. Still a bit distant as he’s one of the last to join.
Extra: Has a mild case of insomnia which leads him to sleep in unusual places like other people's rooms, the couch, the floor, the bathtub, etc. Normally he's the first riser though (since he barely slept). When he's not though, he's the hardest to wake because that means he's super backlogged on sleep. He keeps his close personal belongings hidden under his bed. Blood type A.

Yú Hong Li
Age: 23 (’94)
Role: main vocal, some composing for ballads

SPOILERX

Talents: unique aegyo, piano, can spin rope three times in a single jump (sometimes).
Nationality: Chinese
Voice: Clear and pure, he has a solid range that can go from a soft, low sound to decently high.
Appearance: 5’91/2” tall with a classy, more masculine image. When posed, his beauty is stunning. However, he has the eye smile to a degree that sometimes he looks silly. Body type makes him seem like he would be fit with decent shoulders and chest width, but there are no real muscles to show for it. His black hair falls in wavy layers between ear and chin length, usually parted in the middle. He’ll style it more cool on stage though with gel or a side part. The longest it gets is a couple inches past his chin before he cuts it. He’s fashionable with varied styles, but no matter what fashion he’s chosen for the day, it’s probably pretty chic. No baggy pants or heavy boots. Likes layering, accessories, black, jackets, delicate patterns, and plaid.
Personality: He’s an earnest hard worker and ever the optimist that only wants to help. Attention seeking and a people pleaser, he’s always one to butt in on a conversation or offer suggestions that weren’t asked for. You can be sure he places himself in the center of the action. A good motivational speaker, in his more serious moments, he’s a solid shoulder to cry on and a helping hand. He may not always listen well or give others a chance to speak, but he sometimes shows his age with advice. Usually it’s just to keep smiling though. He has a competitive side which he can get out of hand. Charades is a favorite and he’ll cheat, flip between languages, anything in order to win faster. He’s high energy overall. A little dorky, but mostly just excitable like a child. It’s a game to win more camera time, so even if he doesn’t understand the question, he knows the answer. And he is the only one who doesn’t think he’s making a fool of himself.
Likes: charades, quizzes, board games, winning, glitter, and coffee
Dislikes: really long waits in line, quiet, being out of contact with friends and family, and frivolous musicians who treat their craft without respect.
Bio: Very close with his family, but has always dreamed of being a singer. Grandfather did traditional Chinese music. One of his cousins is studying music under him. His family saved up hard to send Hong-li to Korea and he came, barely knowing any of the language. He continues to struggle with learning it and it created some initial awkwardness with the group until he learned enough to socialize with the other members. One of the earlier members to join.
Extra: Fluent in Mandarin, he’s still learning Korean and has struggled solidly with it since moving to Korea. Speaks okay, but doesn’t read or write much at all. What few English words he know are terrible and ill-pronounced. Blood type B

Kim Ankor “Encore”
Age: 21 (’96)
Role: lead vocal/visual

SPOILERX

Talents: eating fast, spicy tolerance,
Voice: A power singer with a multi-octave range that has piercing high notes. He hits the same ones when whining or talking fast. His strongest power is in a mid range though.
Nationality: Korean
Appearance: Stands at 5’5" with a pretty face, but not an overly feminine body. His muscle is defined, but not like that of a dancer. His skin tone is slightly darker and he’s not afraid to show it off. Eyes are more full with defined, sharp eyebrows. His hair is usually side swept and short with bangs long enough to sit in his eyes. Very soft and currently dyed a lighter brown with green streaks all across the top layer. His fashion wavers between pretty and punk with faint cute accents. More so in the way he wears the clothes than the items themselves. He’ll show stomach or layer a fun top with a jacket overtop. He spends a lot of time on his outfits. Favors both blue and green along with warm and fun colors. Likes rings and has a single piercing in his upper right ear. Token member who always ends up wearing shorts in videos.
Personality: He’s someone that loves to mess with people. Pranks, games, competitions, rule-breaking, hidden cameras—they’re all fun to him. Of course, he prefers it when he’s the instigator and he often is even when no one else wanted to play. Not that all his plans go through well. Though astute in his observations, he’s no brilliant chess master. He’s well meaning though and even when people complain about his games, they admit later that the atmosphere becomes much more relaxed and problems are forgotten. He can be the glue that holds people together with their shared pains and shames, and the thrill of secrets they hold together. He can also be the first person in the room that no one can stand. He sasses and lacks trustworthiness in minor things. He’s the first suspect for everything that goes wrong and yet his work ethic is actually pretty high. He doesn’t show it, but this troublesome behavior is his way of being serious about the group. He incredibly wants it to succeed. He’s just the sort of person that can practice seriously with a smile on his face and a never ceasing stream of jokes.
Bio: His mother is well known actress and his father a choreographer. He tried very hard to get Ankor to be a dancer, but his voice took him in a different direction. Growing up, it was always a given that he would become an idol. He’s been acquainted with that life from the start, giving him a different outlook. Very close with his family. Auditioned when he was fifteen and since then, his voice has matured intensely.
Likes: jokes, group games, curry, sweet filled buns, and karaoke
Dislikes: tension, being surrounding by other people’s stress, and cleaning
Extra: He’s quick to volunteer to help cooking, but makes more disasters than not. Has destroyed other people’s laundry as well. Spends too long in the shower and on his whole morning routine. Just laughs all of this off though. Blood type A.

Jang Daesuk
Age: 22 (’95)
Role: vocal/rapper/composer

SPOILERX

Talents: anime impersonations (mainly Kakashi and Levi)
Voice: low range, it can take on a husky quality or blend in. Harmonizes well.
Nationality: Korean
Appearance: He’s 5’71/2”...
Personality: He has a quiet and serious energy. Someone who’s competitive about the the important things rather than games. He’s OCD and serious about his external appearance, organization, living area, and talents. His room is always neat and he picks up after others without being told or complaining. It’s like a second nature. He’s unlikely to show a goofy side in public. However, he has a love for video games, anime, and other nerdy pastimes. You can often find him reading manga with seriousness on the couch, headphones in. While he spends a lot of his free time alone, he also has nothing against socializing and hangs out with the group without complaint. Though he won’t instigate or suggest anything. He also puts up with skinship in the same manner. He actually enjoys the closeness though. His face just isn’t the short to show a bright smile. His expressions are subtle and everything about him mellow. He could keep the group under control, but he’s more likely to just watch it happen, never speaking much on shows due to simply not having a lot to say. He’s fair, cool-minded, and kind. Like with his singing and rapping, he’s the harmonizer and steady voice in the center, neither sticking out, nor falling into the background.
Bio: 2nd youngest of 4 (2 bothers and 1 sister). He’s used to taking care of himself and his younger brother to some degree. His parents spent a lot of time trying to support all of their children at the same time. Daesuk did talent competitions in school, but even with solid good grades, he didn’t excel like his younger brother in school, or his sister in many activities. Because their lives required extra attention, he spent a lot of time absorbed in books, music, and media. When he decided to audition at M*Star, it surprised his whole family. They came around, but still don’t know where this decision came from. One of the later members to join.
Likes: Anime, superhero and robot/mecha, vegetables, and social media.
Dislikes: Reverse harem, candy, disorganization, and power outages.
Extra: Favorite anime is Attack on Titan. Also loves My Hero Academia, Naruto, and Free! He owns around thirty manga and manhwa volumes from the very popular to unheard of titles. Each is organized by order in which he bought them, then volume order with most recent toward the top. He’s a beast at Rock, Paper, Scissors. Blood type AB.

“Ah, is it filming? Where do I look-?”

“It’s running! Shush, everyone, let's introduce ourselves on one, two, three!”

The camera’s lens focused on the seven young men gathered in a carpeted room, maroon curtains hanging to the right and an ivory couch up against the wall. The small meeting table sat pushed up in an awkward corner next to it, leaving barely enough room for the group gathered there. Hong Li stumbled as Ankor gripped him from behind, trying to steady himself and push to the front at the same time. A brilliant grin flashed across his face before they all belted out at once, waving their hands in a practiced yet indistinct gesture.

“Hello Korea! We’re 007 and we’ll be taking over Korea like secret agents!” The jumbled mess ended with a few extra echoes and someone giggled in the back. In all, they sounded exactly like the rookie group that they were. Even using the company’s meeting space to film, they looked completely out of place. Daesuk cleared his throat from where he stood toward the back, using his height to look over the shorter Ankor. Better than Shin who who tried to use his size to remain a mysterious statue in the corner.

“You should start off the introductions already, hyung,” Daesuk murmured with a nudge to KR’s side. He glanced toward the center front of their group without any real change to his calm, almost serious looking expression. “Before one of those two do it first…” And with the way that Hong Li eyed the camera with Ankor clearly offering encouraging whispers, that option looked more and more likely. Honestly, these boys were going to make a mess of their first official introduction to the world, but then, what else did they expect?

With a long suffering sigh, Taeksu kept the camera pointed on the boys, though it was a bit hard with the mass of movement they were. It was like they were never quite capable of remaining still, and he knew managing them over the next few months would be an adventure, rookie groups always were. "Yes, leader, please start off the introduction," he prompted when KR didn't immediately respond to Daesuk's prompting, knowing the probability of one of their more excitable members speaking up was getting infinitely more likely with each passing moment. Though he did notice Hyunki's staying hand on Hong Li's shoulder and was grateful for that, knowing it would keep the Chinese member from speaking out of turn.

"Ah, right," KR said, his ears flushing slightly as he shot the camera a sheepish grin, "I'm 007's leader and main rapper, KR!" he bowed after the greeting, still feeling flushed that he'd forgotten to immediately launch into the individual greeting, especially after the jumble messed the group greet was. Well at least the troublemakers hadn't gotten to speak up yet. "Please look forward to our upcoming debut, we're excited to greet you! Now for the rest of the group!" He pointed to Hyunki to go ahead and greet the viewers next, since Hyunki was standing next to him

Hyunki bowed, smiling politely at the camera, before he greeted softly, high voice barely able to be heard over the background of ruffling the other members were causing, "I'm 007's main dancer, Hyunki," He continued to smile shyly at the camera, not really sure if he should say anything else, nervousness at finally having people watching them eventually causing him to keep quite.

"He's also our eomma," a deep voice piped up from the back, his body not hidden in the slightest because of his height, towering over the other members," His words caused a few giggles to titter through the group and Hyunki to flush a bright red, but he didn't deny the words either; in the time they'd been training together, the others had teased him relentlessly for how he mothered them, so he'd started to accept the title. KR sent a bit of a glare at Xavier, but didn't say anything for the moment, he didn't want to be the type of leader known for scolding his members, especially not before they even officially debuted. Xavier continued, greeting everyone before it was really his turn, clearly not guilty in the slightest, "Hello, I'm 007's giant maknae and deep voice rapper Xavier." His words had a bit of a curve to him, an accent clearly on display, even if he was comfortable with the language, his pronunciation still sounded slightly off.

Hong Li grinned at Xavier's comment as he glanced back at Hyunki. He felt the younger man's hand on his shoulder, but even if he knew the intent behind it, he didn't feel a strong desire to listen. Thankfully, KR started off the introductions before he could and the rest sounded so amusing that the excitable man decided to wait his turn. Which it was, here and gone. "Uh, hey. I think it's my turn next," he intoned, then cleared his throat when the Korean words slurred under his . "So, hey. I am Hong Li, from China. I do main vocals." The words were practiced, but clearly often from the ease with which he said them.

Ankor rolled his eyes from beside him. He wanted to make trouble, even though he felt multiple pairs of eyes warning him not to, including the ones behind the camera. Just to spite them, he opened his mouth, about to speak before another voice from middle spoke up, cutting him off with purpose.

"I thought we were going in age order," Daesuk muttered. With the faintest shake of his head, he raised his voice in order to be heard over the faint murmurs and giggles around him. He cleared his throat, sufficiently pleased that the others would let him speak in turn. "I'm Daesuk, sub vocals and rapping for 007. Fans, please take care of us in the future." He inclined his head in a slight bow because at least someone here needed to show respect. KR should have, but what was done was done. Done, he turned his eyes to Ankor, letting him know that he was free to speak.

The short man brushed a stray strand of green streaked hair out of his eyes, smiling. "Nice to meet you! My name is Ankor, but you can call me Encore and I'm lead vocals. Stand ovation!" The joke only earned one snicker. Definitely not one of Ankor's best. It left him huffing, but satisfied enough to stop talking. Anyway, talking was really Hong Li's thing. He just wanted attention.

An awkward pause spanned before the last member spoke up, a half smirk on his face, eyes nodding at the camera. "I'm Shin, main dancer for 007." He stood with his body tilted, showing off a cool air that matched his dark jacket and silver pants. A perfect cool boy statue indeed.

KR suppressed the urge to roll his eyes at his members. It was so clear they were rookies, but then, wasn't that often what endeared fans to groups in the first place. He bowed to the camera, coughing slightly indicating the other members should bow with him. He felt them shuffled around him and figured that was something of a bow, "Thank you again." He greeted once more, "Please look forward to our debut and more exciting behind the scenes footage! This has been 007, thank you." He bowed once more to the camera and indicated for Taeksu to cut the feed, which the manager did before anyone could chime in with anything unnecessary.

He considered the group in front of him, "Well, y'all were a mess, but somehow I think they'll find that endearing. Why don't you practice for a couple hours and then we can head back to the dorm?" With that, he left the room, knowing the boys would practice, after they probably freaked out about the video message they'd just recorded.

After Taeksu left the room, KR turned to the group, "Okay, so overall that probably went pretty well, manager-hyung at least didn't seem to angry, so there's that. But Xavier, we agreed to go in age order, why'd you speak out of turn?" He scowled slightly at the maknae as he said this.

Xavier shrugged, "Sorry, hyung, I just wanted to help Hyunki-hyung stand out a bit more, and well once I started talking I figure why not go ahead and introduce myself?" His voice completely unrepentant, but then, he knew KR wouldn't get too mad at him, they never really did. Beside Xavier, Hyunki huffed, but didn't say anything; if Xavier hadn't been the one to introduce him as the group's mother someone else would.

After bowing completely out of sync with each other, KR said a few more words and then their manager cut off the filming. At once, there was a collective relaxing, every member feeling the weight of the lens eased from their shoulders. Rookies like them still didn't know what to do in front of a camera. "Ah, yeah yeah..." Ankor whined just as Taeksu turned to leave the room, not caring that he didn't sound repentant. He would practice though, no matter how he acted.

"He would have made us redo it if we did bad," Daesuk pointed out. Moving the table, he shifted it back toward it's correct position while Hong Li dropped to a seat on the couch, watching with a look that said 'need help?' even when his arms offered nothing. Daesuk managed fine though and didn't comment. If he wanted help, he would ask. Done tidying the room, he sat on the opposite side of the couch, listening to KR and Xavier's conversation with a serious face. "Anyway, there's no use complaining over any of it now. The video is shot and now the world will know us."

The others hummed in agreement and Hong Li patted the couch next to him. "Hyunki, didn't you think it went pretty well?" he hummed. A second later, he switched to Chinese as a smile crossed his face. "We're awesome!" They'd been trading back small exclamations like it lately so he knew the red-haired member would get it better than most. Before Hyunki could move to sit in the proffered spot though, Ankor sashaed over and flounced onto the couch. Rolling, he swung his legs over Daesuk's and dropped his hands and chin onto Hong Li's thigh.

"I thought that went amazing! Hey, it was almost like we knew what we were doing," he chuckled. Hong Li frowned but didn't push Ankor away and instead looked at Hyunki with pleading eyes.

Still standing where he'd filmed the video greeting, Shin sighed and rolled his eyes. Despite it, a flush had grown on his cheeks almost the second that the camera stopped rolling and he got the chance to think about it. "W-well, I'm going to go practice if anyone wants to join me..."

Hyunki moved to sit next to the couch but was pushed out of the way by Ankor who immediately collapsed on top of the couch and Hong Li. He huffed and looked between Ankor and Hong Li, tempted by the others pleading look and wanting to sit next to the other. But it just seemed so much effort to push the troublemaker of of him. Sighing, he just decided to try and squish himself between the arm rest and Hong Li, which really just resulted in him being mostly on Hong Li's lap, "It was pretty amazing, huh?" he replied, smiling at the other.

"Oh my god you two, get a room," Xavier commented, from where he'd taken to leaning on the wall, not yet decided on where he was heading, and mostly just observing his members. Hyunki flushed at Xavier's words, but once again didn't respond, determined to not egg the maknae on.

KR sighed looking at the chaos that was his group, aware he should probably goad them into practicing, but also knowing they'd all still be feeling jittery from the video and the excitement, and getting any of them to focus on trying to complete a dance routine right now would be possible. "Okay, guys, how about this, thirty minute break, do whatever you want, then we meet in the dance room and run through our debut song a couple more times. You know we've got to get it perfect, right?" As he said this though, he sank down to the floor himself, clearly intent on taking his own break.

Xavier pushed away from the wall, considering his options slowly before he walked over to Shin, a semi-evil grin breaking out on his face. "Well, if no one else is going to, I guess, I'll have to go practice with Shinnie-hyung, here." As he spoke he wrapped his arms around Shin, leaning down over the much shorter male so he was resting his chin on his head, "You'd like that right Shinnie-hyung?" he asked in his very best aegyo voice, pitching it into a higher tone to make it sound cuter.

Not really surprised by the turn of events, Hong Li just shifted so Hyunki had enough room to comfortably sit on him without dislodging Ankor either. He wasn't one to play favorites when it came to receiving attention even though he wanted to hang with Hyunki most. Turning toward Xavier, he sent the youngest of them a look. "If you are jealous, then I will make room for you too in my lap," he called with a grin. Their maknae made even him, one of the taller members, look short, but he still couldn't keep from offering. Either to get under Xavier's skin in turn or simply to share the love. He didn't mind either way.

Ankor pouted that his position on the most comfortable spots in the room was challenged, but he reveled in this really. So many of them on the couch at once, in a warm mess together. "Okay, hyung," he hummed as he turned to look at KR with a little smile most would call sassy, but he meant it. "Hear that? Thirty minutes? That's enough time to play a game, you guys! Anyone interested?" Turning his head slightly, he tried to make contact with the other boy on the far side of the couch. He shifted his foot, doing something between poking Daesuk and dragging his foot along the other's leg. Daesuk, for his credit, did not react. He just sat there, calming watching scenes continuing to unfold in front of him.

Shin didn't notice Xavier step closer, already thinking over the dance routine in his head. Only when arms wrapped around him from behind in a giant smothering cage, did he realize his mistake. A faint, almost squeak-like noise escaped him as he tensed. He felt Xavier rest his chin against his head, because this kid was just that tall. Shin stammered, struggling to pull away or even protest further. "Like what?!" When his attempt to slink out from under the tall boy's arms didn't work, he pouted hard at the space between himself and the door. "Aish, seriously. A giant like you isn't cute at all!"

"Mm, no don't do that," Hyunki murmured to Hong Li, making himself comfortable in the space that Hong Li had created for him, "I don't really feel like being squished by the giant today." Though as he said this, Xavier was busier bothering Shin, so he didn't think he had to worry too much. Shin was a target Xavier could latch onto a while because he didn't know how to not react to the maknae's teasing. "Besides, I'm comfortable like this," he decidedly ignored Ankor suggesting a game, at least for the moment, because the second troublemaker of the group was likely to suggest something lewd.

KR considered Ankor, aware that it was probably a bad idea to ask, but also knowing the other would start whining if ignored and that would probably be worse than just confronting whatever the other suggested. "Ok, Ankor, what exact type of came are you thinking?" he asked, suspicion in his voice.

The more Shin struggled against him, the tighter Xavier hugged his arms around him, "I don't know, hyung, you're like the best teddy bear ever," he rested his head almost content on top of Shin's head for the time being. "Besides if they're gonna play some game, shouldn't we stay and play with them, hyung?" he asked, still using his aegyo voice, but maybe not quite as much.

Hong Li chuckled, but nodded his head once. "I don't see why we can't all make room on the couch though. We just shot our first video. We're supposed to be celebrating together!" Shaking his head, he met Hyunki's eye, not sure the other boy would understand his desire to still be the center of attention now. Not that it mattered. He enjoyed this silly closeness they were having and Hyunki still crushed up against his side.

Ankor rolled his eyes. "You two are always comfortable," he huffed before turning his attention to KR who looked skeptical at best. Ankor didn't feel bothered by that, knowing no one truly hated this side of him. It could get awkward after a video and they would stew on it, worrying, at least if left alone. He knew a couple members worked that way and it was up to him to save them from themselves. "Ah, I don't know though. Charades? Telephone? Rock, paper, scissors competition...ah, but Daesuk always wins so that's no fun." He sent the other boy a look which was returned with the same seriousness. "I could always make up a game if you want too!"

"Unnecessary!" Daesuk finally interrupted.

Shin glared at the idiots all having a conversation and completely ignoring him and Xavier. "Guys! A little help here!" He squawked again when Xavier only tightened his arms. Experience should have told him to give up. He wouldn't escape by sheer stubbornness, but he wasn't ready to submit himself to this sort of cuteness either. He needed to preserve his image after all, even after the camera turned off. "And if it's a game Ankor is starting, I'd rather not!"

KR looked up from his phone, considering the two youngest of the group, "I don't know that looks like pretty good bonding to me Shin," he said, shrugging and making exactly no move to help the other out of the prison of arms he was in. Besides in forms of trouble the maknae could be causing, bothering Shin was pretty tame.

Hyunki turned to look at Ankor, "As long as I don't have to move, I don't really care what you come up with," he said, knowing from the moment Ankor suggested playing a game. The male had a way of getting his way, if only because the others didn't really feel like stopping him. And they did usually have fun with whatever he suggested. He leaned his head against Hong Li's shoulder as he said this, the excitement from filming the video beginning to fade, leaving him feeling slightly tired.

Xavier looked over at Ankor, "We could play truth or dare, and I could make sure Shin-hyung played with us instead of going to practice. After all the company keeps saying we should know each other better than brothers. I feel like that's as good a way as any to achieve that. Though if you have a better idea Ankor, I'm definitely interested in that too." As he spoke, his arms loosened around Shin, not enough that he couldn't tighten them again if Shin tried to escape, but at least enough that he wasn't squeezing the smaller male to him anymore.

Shin huffed, but he already submitted himself to the torture. He hated it, but he couldn't fight it either. Xavier always wanted to hang off of him because he knew it bothered him and the other members poked their own fun, calling his strong reactions amusing. Shin supposed, he didn't hate it as much as he said, but he didn't like this either. The video message made him anxious and the only real way to quell that was with practicing. He sighed, leaning slightly back against Xavier. "What's wrong with practicing now? If you want to play a game, just do it after dinner when we're back at the dorm," he complained. Trying to find one person on his side, he cast a look at Daesuk who at least sometimes matched tones with him. "Right?"

Daesuk just sighed though, stretching and dislodging Ankor's legs at the same time. "I don't really care. Let leader-hyung decide what we should do." With noncommittal little yawn, he stretched his arms behind his head as if more ready for a nap than a game.

His position compromised, Ankor swung around to sit properly on the couch. "But we have to play a game! We're still rookies getting to know and love each other and you have to know how important bonding is!" he insisted. "And truth or dare is way too basic anyway. We need to do something more fun. Like a face off, or challenges, secret symbol telephone or beat the leader! That's the stuff that really counts!"

Hong Li bit back a snort of laughter. "You're crazy." Not that he meant it in a bad way even if his words came out harsher than he thought they did. He looked at the occupants of the couch relaxed and comfortable, his arm warm from the cheek resting against it. "I don't think Hyunki or Daesuk want to move, but I'm willing to play any game you come up with. Since I'm oldest, doesn't my vote count the most?"

KR looked over at Daesuk and Shin, "Yeah but these idiots won't be able to focus at the moment, and I'd rather or practices be meaningful than just time to practice. We'll practice in a bit, and then head back to the dorm." He nodded his head, as if confirming to himself that it was a good plan, even though it was more likely no practice would really get done today. Ankor and Hong Li would probably make certain of that. And while KR could be strict and force them to practice, right now he wasn't certain that was what was best for his group as a whole.

"Not how that works, Hong Li-ge," Hyunki commented, his eyes drifting closed as well, the idea of a nap seeming just as tempting to him, "But you are right about me not wanting to move."

Xavier shook his head at Ankor's suggestions, "Even I agree all of those sound like way too much energy and fuss for the type of mood I'm in right now. We can't all be little balls of energy like you Ankor." Though if pushed he probably would probably play one of those games, since playing a game seemed more fun than just sitting here, but Ankor got amazingly pouty when his suggestions were dismissed, and Xavier couldn't quite resist the urge to tease him, even if the other hyungs weren't actually intending their words that way.

Shin finally managed to shrug his way out of Xavier's arms and backed up a few steps before regaining his look of coolness. Slightly frowning at KR, he resisted the urge to sigh. "It's not our fault the rest of them don't want to practice when we should. We're going to debut soon!" he huffed. He wouldn't feel comfortable if he didn't dance soon. To him, the video message went horribly. They needed to stay serious here because what was cute about a bunch of stuttery dorks? The pout that Ankor sent him said the older boy didn't feel the same at all though.

"You guys are all the worst party poopers ever! If you don't play games with me more, I'll end up doing secret cameras instead. So unfair." Still pouting, Ankor jumped to his feet, hands on his hips, eyes insisting even after his words stopped. He accepted that they didn't want to play a game right then though. He wasn't quitting per say because Ankor didn't quit, but he decided to switch focus for a while. Walking up to Xavier, he made himself look as tall as his tiny body could before he poked the maknae in the arm. "Don't get sassy with me. Even if we don't play a game, I'll still do something in the end!"

Rolling his eyes, Hong Li scooted into the vacated space, using the couch for all the comfort it could offer when not cramped. He didn't see why everyone was making a big deal about playing games or not, but maybe he missed something in the nuances of the Korean language. Details tended to still escape him. "Just give up, Ankor. If anyone wants a pillow though, my lap is free. Hyunki has first dibs though."

Shrugging his shoulders with defeat, Daesuk decided KR knew best. They could practice later, even if they probably should practice now. He wasn't one to complain or criticize...though he did with he brought a book to read while the others argued senselessly to decide what to do. "Just let me know when you decide to start practice time then," he said to KR, then closed his eyes. "I'll take a rest until then." It wouldn't be a good rest, but what else could he do? He and Shin alone couldn't convince the group to calm down and practice now. Best to just listen to the leader.

Hyunki sat up, looking over at Shin with concern in his eyes. There was something off about the second youngest member. He was always a serious one but he seemed almost anxious right now. Sighing, he pushed himself up from the couch and walked over to Shin, concern for his member outweighing his own desire to be lazy. "I can go run through the practice with you, me and Daesuk can if you really want," he murmured kindly, his words soft, "But we'll be fine if we don't practice right now, you have to know that right? If you're worried, don't be. They wouldn't have us debuting if they didn't think we were ready."

Xavier looked down at Ankor, not threatened by him in the slightest, or really even bothered. He poked him slightly in the forehead, "It's not like you'd really get away with any of that. We're too new for the company to let us do hidden cameras. And we're all used to your pranks anyway. I don't find them that scary." He shrugged as he said this. Still mostly just trying to get under Ankor's skin, but also not really caring how the other reacted. A part of him also concerned about Shin, since even though he teased the other the most, he was actually the one Xavier felt closest to.

KR sighed at his members, it was so hard to get them to agree on anything. “I know some of you want to practice. And practice really is good, but we have to remember, we can’t push ourselves too hard though. We want to be abel to make a strong debut. Moments of rest are just as important to us now as moments of work. We have to have both, you guys most now that. We can’t work ourselves to the point where we collapse. But we also can’t just goof off.”

Ankor huffed again, not bothered by Xavier's size or his lack of fear. All he wanted was to spread happy vibes so he welcomes the banter. Rather than backing down, he flashed a rueful grin. "Permission? Oh my little maknae, you underestimate me too much..." Leaving it at that, he spun away again and flopped onto the couch, mostly on top of Daesuk who didn't even flutter his eyes. Stubborn wasn't he?

Hong Li pouted when Hyunki's attention was dragged away, but he didn't really mind. It was so like that guy to butt in with such gooey comments. Eomma. Just like Xavier said, he really was that type of member. "Isn't that really noncommittal, KR," he hummed. Though he wasn't suited to be leader himself, Hong Li never really forgot that he was ever so slightly older than KR so if anyone could question leadership decisions, it was him. "It's good to practice. It's good to rest. Like that, you didn't say yes or no to anyone." He grinned with an eyebrow raised.

Shin's lips tightened when he found himself the center of more than just Xavier's usual attention. He didn't mean to draw anyone's eye right now when there was no purpose to it. He didn't like to be the one under the spotlight even if sometimes he accidentally drew it to himself. One of the last to join the company and not the best with friends in the first place, he still felt distant at times. And at other times, he imagined that one day he might see these guys as his family. Sighing, he dropped his gaze to drag a hand through his bleached-blonde locks. "I'm not trying to make a big deal about it. I'm just no good at anything but dancing. You guys just do what you want..."

"Oh and you want to get punished by the company?" Xavier asked, knowing that was definitely a possibility if Ankor was stupid enough to post something on social media that the company didn't approve of. "You do that then, I'll just be here enjoying the aftermath." As he said this, he finally settled to sit on the floor. It did seem as if nothing was getting accomplished for the moment, and he didn't particular feel like bothering anyone else.

KR glared over at Hong Li, though there was no real heat behind it, however, when he responded his voice was slightly sardonic, "Wow it's almost like I'm giving y'all a freedom of choice. Such a shocking concept." He didn't want to be the strict leader all the time, partially because it wouldn't work with his members anyway, but moments like this he sometimes wondered if he should. If he should be the leader to bark at his members that it was time to practice. Though it would probably just bring a different form of criticism from his members.

Hyunki reached his arms out in the aborted motion of a huge, before he remembered how much Shin hated skinship, so he dropped his arms and tilted his head, "You know that's not true right. You may not be one of our main vocalists, but each one of us is important and this group and you are one of the main dancers for a reason. You're hear just like I am to make sure we can make our clumsy singers like Hong Li look good." He smirked as he said this, a little teasing, but mostly just wanting to draw a smile or something out of Shin other than the anxiety.

Ankor huffed and shook his hair in a rather dramatic show. These poor kids just entering their lives in the world of entertainment knew nothing. He understood it all as if the industry ran in his blood and he rather hoped that it did. So far, he seemed to be proving his parent's legacy right even if he could never dance quite like his father. "You can only say that because you don't know my secret ways," he sighed. Xavier wasn't much fun anymore though so he closed his eyes. At least the atmosphere was fun of fun banter now. He hated when they all looked so awkward after the message. Like this, he could consider his effort worth it.

Hong Li laughed, not quite catching how sardonic KR's tone was, but still amused at his words. He didn't really mean to question the other boy, but the part of him that loved a challenge couldn't help it. Still, it was all in good fun. "Well, you might as well pick fun or practice or just give up then. Aren't you going to sit and relax on this nice lovely couch too?" he added with a pat. There was a little space not taken up by Ankor and it actually looked quite roomy.

Shin really wanted to counter Hyunki's overly optimistic words, but he decided against it. The argument would go nowhere and a part of him didn't want to decide such a pessimistic stance anyway. Rather than the smile Hyunki obviously tried to pull out, Shin rolled his eyes. Still, something like a smirk colored his face. "True. He's actually worse at dancing than Ankor. At least he can follow the script as long as someone's always telling him exactly where his hands and feet are supposed to be."

Hong Li whipped his head around, hearing his name in someone else's conversation. "Hey! What did you say about me? Hey, hey! That's not fair!"

"Really, go ahead, I'd love to see you get in trouble," Xavier said, sure that Ankor had some crazy justification in mind that only made sense in his own head. But just as Ankor attention turned away from him, his own turned back to Shin; the place where his attention was always most likely to wonder. "I could teach you to rap Shinnie-hyung, I'm sure we'd be able to come up with something fun for you to show the execs. And you're scowly enough, you could totally pull off the angry rapper image." He didn't mention that Shin was often so cute that any of the angry rapper image would immediately be dissipated the moment he stopped trying.

Hyunki grinned over at Hong Li, "Oh but you know what we say is true hyung. You're a great singer, but I swear sometimes you've got two left feet. And maybe a couple of extra along the way." He grinned, moving away from Shin now that Xavier's attention was back on him, going back over to Hyunki and settling back down next to him, "You're clumsy but I'm sure it'll endear you to fans. They always like the clumsy ones."

"I figured I'd relax for now, and you guys do know if they really thought the video introduction went poorly manager hyung would have made as re-film it immediately. But they want to introduce as we are. Rookies, so I'm sure we gave them exactly what we wanted. So I figure, we've at least earned this break," KR nodded as he said this, as if assuring to himself that was the reason he really gave them this break. Which maybe it was, and maybe for now he just didn't want to practice either, but couldn't really say it.

Shin met Xavier's eye, a little too surprised for a second to maintain his cool image. "Eh? Rap?" he echoed before he realized that Xavier tried to pull him into something that would only make a fool out of him. Not on purpose of course, but just an interest in a genre didn't make a person into a rapper. He flushed for one fierce second before he ducked his gaze. "N-no thanks. Now if you could teach me so sing like Se7en sunbae though, that would be great." Huffing, he flipped his hair away from his face, aware of ridiculous nature of his request which made it more like a joke.

Hong Li pouted hard at Hyunki, the competitive nature in him started to rise at the younger man's jibes. "Is that what you think? Two feet huh? Of course I have two feet!" He crossed his arms, turning to stare at Hyunki in challenge as the boy sat next to him in his original spot on the couch. He seemed ready to return to relaxation, but Hong Li wasn't ready to let this go. "Instead of a game, I say we have a dance off competition!"

Ankor perked up, pulling his back as straight and tall as his short height could manage. Still nothing on Hong Li, but he managed to shine with attentiveness anyway. "Did you say a competition? Dance? I'm game!" he exclaimed even if Shin just named him as the second worst member at it. He didn't mind the insult or feel particularly burdened by it since he made up with that fault with his voice. "It's fine to do that instead of practice right?"

Due to all the motion on the couch, Daesuk cracked his eyes open again, looking between the others on the couch and those standing still, KR in particular. Past his usual calm face though, was a hint of interest. "I'm fine with that." He wasn't the strongest at dancing either, but he considered himself well-rounded. He certainly wasn't bad and he didn't mind the business of playing even if he didn't act like that most of the time.

Xavier bit back a grin at Shin's reaction. It was exactly the type of cute reaction that the other couldn't quite control, and it was one of his favorite thing about his hyung. It was part of why he found himself always inexplicably drawn to teasing the other, even over the other members. "That seems more like something Hong Li hyung or Ankor hyung, but I mean we could try, but it may go very badly."

"You are very clumsy, hyung," Hyunki confirmed with no shame, "But you're a singer so it's ok, people will forgive you the clumsiness." Hyunki perked up at the mention of a dance competition, even if he had been lazy before, he was always ready to do something related to dance, "Sounds fun to me! Shinnie and I can wipe the floor with the rest of you!"

KR shrugged, "Sounds good to me, especially if it's something we can all agree on, though let's not hold that competition in here. We did fine today, but I'd rather not end a good day by pissing of the company cuz we broke a lamp in one of the offices." With that, he pushed up from where he'd been sitting in front of the couch, "Let's go to the practice room."

Feeling pretty certain that he'd already beaten his blush back, Shin lifted his eyes to look at Xavier in incredulity. "Don't take the comment so seriously," he huffed, rolling his eyes to accent his point. He held the look for a half second more before turning the join the conversation about dance. "Now that sounds more like a game I want to play. Don't even think you guys have a chance. Snorting, he stepped toward the door which he stood close to still and pushed it open all the way and stood with his back to it, waiting for the others to follow.

Ankor was quick on his heels, having leapt from the couch with a dizzying amount of energy. He felt glad that someone finally decided to play a game because this whole room seemed stuffy with too many emotions and anxieties even when they talked so comfortably. "Hey hey, one of your hyungs might surprise you, Shinnie-ah," he grinned. Not really waiting for the others, he simply walked backwards so he could keep talking.

"Guess we should get going too..." Hong Li murmured. Standing, he turned to pull Hyunki up after him because he didn't doubt that the others would leave them behind if Ankor led the way. KR wasn't likely to stop him after all. As an after thought, he offered Daesuk a hand which the other boy took, but once on his feet, let go and slipped out the door first with something almost like a smile on his face.

"Is the practice room unlocked already, do you know hyung?" he asked KR, pausing just outside of the doorway to talk. At least one of them needed to be sensible here, but he also felt excited. He only managed the tiny details because he wanted to get to play quicker even if he never said that.

Xavier followed after Shin, still sticking close to him, but not bothering him for the moment. He felt pretty excited at the prospect of a dance-off to. Sure that it would result in plenty of hilarity from some of the other members, besides he was pretty good at dancing himself, so it wasn't likely of him to make too much of a fool of himself. He grinned at Shin as they walked towards the practice room, "This is gonna be fun!"

Hyunki let himself be pulled up by Hong Li, the prospect of the dance-off already filling him with energy that he hadn't necessarily felt before. After all, he was the one with the most experience in dance-offs having done mostly street performances before signing to the company, so he knew exactly how to move his body in this. "Oh, this is going to be great!" he said excitedly to Hong Li.

"I have the key to the practice room even if it isn't unlocked," KR said, as he followed his now excitedly chattering group down the hall. If the door was lock, they'd just have to wait for him to open it. "I think they gave it to me because with the comeback coming up it's more likely for us to want to go in at hours when the company is technically closed, so I'm sure this wasn't quite what they intended, but I mean, it's a type of practicing in a way."
