Snow is pretty only for short while, sadly. At least if you're in city. Few hours after, it's ugly from people boots, car lines, dogs. One nasty sloushy mess.

Then don't go to city to see the snow.
Go countryside.

I live in a city and don't have any countryside to go to. Not a private house, too, huge apartment building. So, I get to enjoy snow only when it falls at night and early mornings or when it's generally just fresh fallen.

Then... bribe the sky to snow only at those time.
