Especially because there is a law in Florida that apartment complexes where the apartments are all attached MUST provide pest control and maintain a clean and healthy property. So they were technically breaking the law by not maintaining a clean and healthy property...I was literally getting sick because of it.

We said we would report them to the health department if we needed to and I think they believed us XD So I will see when I apply to a new apartment - hopefully I won't have anything bad sad about me by the other place!

Oh yes D:

I woke up in the morning towards the end to get a shower and head to work and there was this HUGE like 2 inch long one dead in the shower....D: I skipped the shower that day. I couldn't do it.

And I had the security guard come and get it for me (they were SO nice..this pair of guards that always walked around at night. They would talk with me for hours because my apartment was where they could keep an eye on everything while standing there. And they would get the roaches for me XDD

those are some awesome security guards.

exactly - and for lying and for health code violations and breaking THEIR part of the lease that they signed saying I wouldn't have any penalties or bad words against me. :O

I loved them!

I was sad to leave them but they were supportive of me leaving. They were all like, "HOW IN THE WORLD DID A LITTLE WHITE GIRL END UP IN THIS BAD PLACE!???" XD

I wasn't even the only white person there D: XD There were actually half the people there white or so. But it was clear that I did NOT fit in with the others. All the others were druggies...heard gunshots all the time, etc. So the guards just kept an extra eye on me XD

People, when they found out I lived there, were like "WTF!?!?!?!?" XD

Well I only lived there 3 months and the bugs were such a distractor and motivator to get out of the apartment as much as possible - so luckily I tuned out the drugs and the guns XD

Luckily my neighbor was this incredibly old man who was really nice to me. So the security guards, the old man, and I would sit outside talking every night XD

But see... compared to roach, drugs, guns.
Roach is lesser devil in my opinion. I felt my life is under threat is my problem is guns and drugs. x.x

lol. I am sure I would be under duress.

haha they were all pretty bad - that's why I fought so hard to get out! and why in august time last year I probably always seemed so stressed D:
