Name Sora Sasaki
Age 17
Race Half demon though she doesn't know that
Personality a quiet girl who's distrustful of people though she does have a soft spot for animals, her sweet side only really shows around animals, everyone else sees her as a little thief.
Bio Sora never knew her father and after her mother died when she was seven she was alone. She learned to get by by swiping food and anything else she needed from the village she lived in. Animals had always followed her around since she was a little girl, she never understood why they followed her they just did. When she turned 15 she tried to find a job to turn her life around, she couldn't steal forever and finally got one at the local inn as a little helper, washing floors, sweeping, cooking, cleaning anything the inn keepers told her to do.
But lately odd things had been happening things started going missing and Sora would wake up with the stolen items hidden in her room she was staying at in the inn. A sheep would be stolen or dead and she would wake up with blood on her hands. After awhile the villagers put two and two together and ran the girl out of the village.

Name: Sesshomaru
Age: 500 (looks 19)
Race: Inu-Yōkai
Personality: Cruel, cold, amused by humans, hates half demons, analyzes people and things more often than not
Bio: Sesshomaru is the son of the Great Dog Demon, proud and prideful. He disdains others and does not care for them. While he has by chance picked up a human girl named Rin, his kindness towards human and such has come forth. He still does not particularly like InuYasha, his younger hanyō brother. But he cares enough not to see him killed.

His lands and wealth are extensive, he has left Jaken and Rin there to be by himself for a while. Though he had an odd affection for them, as well as Ah-Un, he did not care to have them with him all the time. This time he has gone out in search of Naraku, and stumbled upon a village, he has seen a girl being chased from there. Normally he does not interfere with the lives of humans, but his curiosity got the better of him.

Sora’s breath burned her throat as she was forced to run away from the place she called her home to save her own life. The villagers had stopped pursuing her now and she slowed to a jog glancing back over her shoulder with longing. Where could she go now? She didn’t belong anywhere, didn’t have anywhere else to go, it would be easy to feel sorry for herself cry but really what good would that do? It wouldn’t change anything and may only make her feel worse. Already animals had started slinking out of the forest to follow the young woman, deer, rabbits, squirrels all watched her with large trusting eyes. Her hand found the soft fur of the deer petting it absently I have to at least collect my things before I leave for good but I should at least wait until it gets dark. It was still light out, close to sunset maybe half an hour away she would wait a little longer thankful that the innkeepers had always been early sleepers.

Sora caught sight of a flash of white out of the corner of her eye but when she jerked her head towards the white spot it disappeared. Maybe it was a figment of her imagination. Waiting until sunset proved to be harder then she expected, every snap of a twig or rustle of an animal in the bushes made her cringe and shake in fear thinking the villagers had come back. The deer had wandered back into the forest leaving her alone scared.

It was an hour after sunset when Sora finally moved from her spot, since she had started waiting flashes of white had appeared in the corner of her visions but whenever she turned to look the thing disappeared. Climbing to her feet Sora went back to the village sticking to the fringes until she got close enough to the inn where she could go in and collect all her things. But when she went in her room everything was gone, the only thing that was left was a rolled up bedroll and pillow, even the necklace her mother had left to her was gone. Running back out front she saw what happened, the villagers had burned all her things everything her clothes, her sheets, and most importantly the necklace her mother had left her. Blinking back tears she picked up a piece of metal that lay next to the fire covered in soot. Using her thumb she wiped away some soot, it was the emblem that used to hang on a chain. Part of her mother’s necklace. A tear rolled down her cheek but she forced the rest back now was not the time for tears, heading back into the inn she grabbed a bag and stuffed it with food from the pantry, and a change of clothes. The final thing she grabbed was a bedroll and a small purse full of coins. In her eyes the innkeepers owed her for all her years of hard work for little pay. Hefting the bag over her shoulder she headed back out to the woods, she would walk a small ways before making camp.

Sesshomaru watched curiously as the villagers burned her things. Then he remembered his distaste for humans. He had no time for this woman or her village. There was nothing there for him and yet there was something oddly familiar about this scene. He'd heard from Rin, who had talked to InuYasha's woman, about a half demon girl who was persecuted for her kin. He wondered if this was the same situation but refrained from entering or attempting to help. The girl was her own problem.

He moved steadily but slowly, picking his way through the forest, and yet again saw this girl. She was surrounded by animals that normal humans feared and killed on sight. Which made him wonder more about her, again the thought came to him that it wasn't his concern. Lately Rin had been sick a lot, and he in turn though wandering mostly for himself had heard about some herbs that helped with many symptoms, and this forest held it. He raised an eyebrow as he seated himself at the base of a tree, watching this young girl. She seemed to talk to the animals almost, and even took comfort in their playfulness. He watched her past sundown, and somehow fell asleep.

This was odd, Lord Sesshomaru never slept, not unless he was sick. But somehow this forest calmed and bewitched him, beguiling to him and making him want to rest. He didn't dream, but instead slept as if dead, and to the world he was. Given as he was to small and rare fits of compassion he might even extend a hand to the girl, she almost reminded him of Rin. And older, possibly more ignorant one.

Something furry touched her cheek making her gasp and jump up but it was just a rabbit curled up against her head. Stifling a yawn Sora sat up looking around her camp groggily. It was still dark out her fire had burned itself out to embers, moving closer she fed kindling into the fire until it flared up and started burning again. A wolf woofed from just outside her line of sight, but she wasn’t afraid no animals had ever hurt her before. She made a small woofing sound of her own and the wolf answered her sounding so much like a human word to her she smiled. She called to him again and out he snaked from the woods, he was on the small side a dark brown color. He was unafraid of her or the fire and sat down right on the other side nose wrinkled at the smoke smell. She soon slipped back into sleep one animal after another making its way toward her camp.

When she woke the next morning more than a few rabbits stirred bounding away into the forest, the wolf was gone leaving a dead rabbit behind whole. Like it was a gift for her, spitting the rabbit she put it over the fire to wait for it to cook. Since she had nothing better to do for the time being she decided to explore the surrounding area. The area was familiar to her but she knew before long she would be leaving this area and moving onto places unknown to her.

She pushed aside some bramble and came face to face with a dead man. At least at first look he seemed dead, but on closer inspection he had no wounds so why would he be dead? Maybe he was just asleep. He was a handsome man that was for sure long silvery white hair strong build. But he wasn’t human that much was obvious

Sesshomaru awoke to the girl hovering over him. His reaction to this was to grab her by the neck. "What do you want, human?" he asked in a cold voice, observing the girl. Her skin was slightly cold, he smelled a fire nearby and surmised that she had probably slept by it. He looked over and saw that the forest animals were afraid of him, a normal occurrence. One he noted with something akin to pride. The animals only stayed because they were attracted to this girl. Then he scented the area, and noticed something, making his eyes narrow thoughtfully.

Idly he ran his claws across her skin, thinking on what to do with her. He let her go, and simply walked away. This female had nothing for him nor anything to do with him. He wasn't going to hurt her, so he might as well let her go, and no doubt she was probably scared of him. But one could never be too sure.

He did still have to find that herb for Rin, that girl could never seem to stay out of trouble, nor could she seem to stay healthy. It was always some with her. He couldn't worry about someone else right now, he had things to do that did not involve big innocent eyes that reminded him of someone.

Her breath exploded in a gasp as strong hands gripped her by the neck fear flooded her leaving her motionless. The animals following her skirted back afraid of the tall man bearing down on the small young woman, Sora tried to find a voice but fear kept her speechless. His eyes were narrowed on her face, lovely amber eyes that under normal circumstances would have her melting. ”I didn’t mean to bother you I just saw you there and you were so still like you were dead…” she trailed off, she had been babbling fear made one do that. Claws ran along her skin sending a cold shudder of fear through her, a demon that’s what he was and he could easily tear her apart if he wanted to. Instead he left go of her and walked off, why had he done that? Easily he could have killed her instead he let her go. Why?

It was a stupid thing to do, but Sora had nothing to lose and no one to mourn her so she followed the strange demon. He seemed to be in search of something stopping to look at plants with a confused look on his face. It gave her the idea that he was looking for something, a plant. Was he sick? Wait did demons eat human food? Did they even get sick? She knew he knew she was following him but it didn’t deter her she kept trailing after him keeping some distance between them.

”What are you looking for?” she finally asked after having followed him for a few minutes, maybe she could help. Sure at best he would tell her to go away wouldn’t take her help, and at worst would turn on her and tear her apart with his claws or that sword he had hanging at his waist. But there was no reason she couldn’t try, she didn’t have anything better to do, no home to go back to, nobody who would wonder where she was. Everything in the world that was hers she had in a bag on her bag.

Sesshomaru thought that it odd that the girl followed him around. She wasn't scared of him, that might have something to do with the fact that her people had kicked her out. But he didn't have time for this, not another burden. One he'd no doubt have to help get better or make sure wasn't killed by demons. He turned around with an ice cold expression on his face. "Begone with you hanyō, I have no time for the likes of you."

He turned around immediately after again in search of this plant, it had white petals with a red center. He knew that he could find it in this area, but there might be a certain place that it grew. The hanyō Jinenji had told him of this plant the last time that Rin was sick. He was actually grateful to him, then he scowled to himself. Lord Sesshomaru feeling grateful to someone else? That was a farce.

He was above everyone else, and was definitely not going to thank some mewling whelp of a hanyō who wouldn't even turn against those who had hurt him. He had no time for this. He had to find that damn flower. It was imperative that he find it and keep some so that he wouldn't have to venture out for it for a while.
