Title To Be Announced

The world back then was so much happier and peaceful. The six kingdoms of Ulysses, Aramen, Terra, Alexandria, Nevium and Ferona that made up the outer reaches along with the central kingdom of Rasiel flourished. Mankind lived in harmony and peace, trading and sharing all that there was within the nation of Valor. The military of that time was more to keep the peace, to give hope to those within the nation to feel secure and safe. During this time, those of the elite core were held within the highest regards. They were known to be the best of the best, and becoming one of them one day was seen as a high honor. Man was at the top and it seemed that no one could break us down. The nation was wrong. Man was wrong. Nevium was the first to fall.

Within a day, the entire kingdom was like a ghost town, no one had seen it coming. As word began to spread, few wanted to believe the idea that some unknown enemy could have gotten through the nation's borders, and had so easily taken out one of the kingdoms. The enemy spread, moving on to Ferona next to the east. Fortunately, people there were smart enough to run to try and save their lives. Few managed to get away though, but those who did brought stories of an enemy who was not even human. Even though they found it hard to believe, there was no denying that now two of the seven kingdoms were overrun, and people were dying. They put together a military party, judging that Alexandria would be the next attacked due to the pattern of the advancing enemy.

What they found, was not human at all. With no knowledge of the enemy and the sheer numbers, the military party did not stand a chance. Three kingdoms in less than a year. People were afraid, asking for the high king of Rasiel to decide what to do. What came after that though no one expected. The attacks just...stopped. Many said it was because of the approach of the coming winter. Whatever these creatures were, they could not handle the cold, possibly hibernating like animals. Whatever the reason, the king made a choice. The trench was made...and The walls went up. A large crack within the land over a mile wide was made dividing the fallen kingdoms from the surviving ones. From there, a series of three walls were constructed, each larger than the last.

Military operatives were placed along the wall, small out posts protruding at various points to watch the walls and the scar. The kingdom walls got higher to, traveling outside the kingdoms became harder to do. All those who were able to work worked, even women and child to complete the work. As the land began to heat up however, the beasts began to stir. Thankfully, they did not seem intelligent enough to be able to figure out around the scar. Jumping it was not an option, and although they could climb, they were slow and vulnerable when doing so. It had seemed that the nation was safe. The years after seemed haunting, defenses within the surviving kingdoms grew stronger, while the walls hiding what had happened got bigger. Need for the military now grew more than ever, and the power as well as respect for the military grew.

Especially with the elites. For if anything were to ever happen, they would be the one to lay down their lives first. Though as the beasts were kept at bay, people once more began to get comfortable. Laying within their shell cut off from the outside world. As long as they could not see it, it did not exist. But one day, an unknown creature emerged from those who were stalking the large crack. The military troops stationed on the first wall watched as it approached the edge..... and jumped. They laughed, thinking it had fallen and perished like many of the others that had tried before. But within a few minutes, they learned they were wrong. The new creature climbed out, and made for the wall. Those stationed at the outpost there barley stood a chance against the massive beast. They gave their lives to barley be able to stop it. Word was sent back to the king, who feared that the peace of the remaining kingdoms and the people...would be threatened once more.
