I am loving the Miyazaki films I am watching recently!

A long time ago, I watched and loved Spirited Away. And now, thanks to suggestions made in my Movie Suggestions Contest thread (here, if anyone is interested: http://www.menewsha.com/forum/commer...s-contest.html), I watched Howl's Moving Castle and am now watching My Neighbor Totoro! I love the animations!

Do you also love films by Hayao Miyazaki? If so, which is your favorite?

I've seen quite a few, but most recently I watched Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind for my Modern Japanese Film class. My favourite is probably Ponyo, because it's super cute.

It's about Nausicaa, a princess of this tiny nation in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. She's pretty flipping cool.

Oohh I would love to see it. I have added it to my bucket list of movies to watch

I have spirited away, kiki's delivery service, ponyo, my neighbor totoro, and howl's moving castle. I love them all!

I want to get nausicca , and the huntress one. I haven't seen the huntress one but my husband loves it, and i loved nausicca of the wind valley or what's its name. I watched it when I was little and can only recall small details , but i can recall LOVING it.

The huntress one? Princess Mononoke?

yeah yeah! Thank you! i couldnt' remember the name. I'm hoping to pick it up when zootopia gets to disney movie club as the ...word... featured title. cause than there will be a slight discount on buying a second dvd. :3

Disney club? I don't think I've heard of that. Also, I really want to see Zootopia.

It is fantastic! So worth going to. :D My dad took me to see it while my mom babysat. it was my first night out without the girls in a long time.

and yeah its a disney movie club. You have to agree to buy from them... uhhh i think its 5 times over the course of 2 years. and make sure to reply to the featured title mailings they send out (which can be replied to online and save a stamp) but you get discounts and such. And I'm a VIP member now so if i accept the featured title i get bonus things like cute disney pins. We're getting this adorable arlo pin. the dinosaur from good dinosaur. I'm going to find my old lilo and stitch pin from my one trip to disney land and start a collection for my daughters. ^^

Ahh, that's so cute. If I had kids I would be all over that. And Arlo was great, even if the art in that film was quite weird.

I haven't actually seen the good dinosaur yet ^^;; hehe
but they love dinosaurs so i figured they'd love the pin.

i just ordered avengers, star wars, and kim possible season 1.. because. . . :D

I loved Kim Possible! And I'm actually a huge Marvel fan, so good choices!
