Writing is one of the few things I'm good at that I actually have a chance at turning into a living, of some sort. All of the things I'm good at are...pretty much useless in terms of jobs.

Same. I wish I had more productive hobbies that I can earn money from while at the same time enjoy...

Gaming, writing, muking about on Mene when you're supposed to be in bed....

lol Sounds like what I do oftentimes, though substituting writing for reading instead.

Reading, too X'D. Oh, for a job where all I have to do is read books all day....

I'd love that as a job, though then again it'd depend on the type of books they'll have me reading...if it's all super boring or technical stuff I'd probably still die.

Well at least part of the job is enjoyable? Then again I don't know much about what an editor does besides proof reading.

and b) thank you. i work really hard at my passions and i hope to one day make a living off of it. it brings so much joy into my life that it really is the only career i can actually see myself doing and everything else im doing is just a "until i get there"

Ahh, the struggle....

I like knowing what's happening to some degree, but it's more than a little bit helpful to have some wiggle room when it comes to uncertainty...if that makes any sense whatsoever. I'm getting to that point where I'm so tired words are hard and I can't type straight XP
