Nothing but laughter came out of the Impurity's mouth, unlike angels or demons, Impurities had forgotten who they were before their punishment, their real lives, the past. If only the Sign could remember who he really was before his imprisonment, then he would have saved the rest of the victims. "I wish yOu WREN'T One oF ThE SuRviVorS...thEn i woUld bE DEaD, BuT HapPY!" Besides, the 'creature' felt nothing, he had lost many of his sesnes during the transformation, except for hearing and sight.

"Why would my death make you happy?" That was a very strange thing to say indeed. Grumbling to himself, Orestes backed away to check upon the stew. The angel added spices before nodding to himself. It wouldn't be too much longer before it was quite ready to be eaten. "I still don't even know what you call yourself, you know my name is Orestes." Strange situation, it called for strange measure. This was an exile of sorts for the Guardian as well, though it was quite pleasant save for the impuritie's presence.

"YoU wErE SUPPosEd to DiE, LiKE tHe oThEr GuARDIaNs! It DidN'T MAtTeR iF i DIed yOu HAd to bE DeAd!!" The scent of blood had disappeared long ago, it would be safer if Orestes locked up the assassin in a cell. They were only wasting time and probably had no idea that there was something bigger and far more powerful than any Seraph approaching the Angelic realm; it was harmless, but they still would need to watch out for any inconvenience.

Just at the entrance of this beautiful world, a black void opened. From the blackest pitch, Shades came out and surrounded a perimeter; they then asked the guards to advice the Seraphs about an important meeting that would take place soon.

Time and again thoughts whirled around that statement, always uncomprehending. "But ... Wouldn't you rather live?" With a shake of his head the angel sighed. Briskly he sauntered over to a nearby box and removed two silver bracelets. Quickly, before the impurity could react, he'd slapped one of the things onto the Sign's wrist. It was a magical device which bound powers, bound ill thoughts, and made sure that the shade could only move so far away from Orestes. The other was around his own wrist, set with a stone to show that it belonged to the jailer while the other was plain.

Still without speaking, he prepared a bowl of stew for himself and another for the Sign. Carefully placing it by the other, he settled down to stare at the flames once more.

Of course this was the end for the old Death Helper, but he had accomplished his mission; at last, there was nothing else to lose, not even his dignity. The Sign wanted to maul this Guardian as soon as possible, he would do so if given the chance. "I DieD tWICe, IT WOuLD be InteReSTInG to fInALlY DIsAppeAR..." He emitted a brief sucesion of sounds that would be better described as giggles, the very thought of disappearing was something exciting for an Impurity.

And just when everybody thought that stability would take over the realm, black trumpets announced the arrival of the once respected Death. Angels could have only dreamt with meeting the skeleton lord, but it was there, standing...waiting for its weaker creators. Even the holy ground died when it became in touch with the dead realm -Void-, that could explain why no other being was able to stay alive if it was unlucky enough to place a foot on such place.

The four Seraphs made a circle, surrounding the newcomers that had the bad luck to appear in the center of the 'military' region, the only question left was if the Shades nearby were protecting the Death, or if they were protecting the realm from the Death's calamitous presence. "It has been too long...millennia indeed" That tone of voice, so normal and yet so dry, sick, as if an old man spoke, but it was also clear, with both low and high-pitched vocal strings acting as one.

Orestes had no idea what was happening in the high hall of the realm. Indeed, he would rather have never known. The blond already had his hands full trying to deal with the Impurity sitting nearby. "I think it would be far more interesting to see what's under that mask. If you're going to die anyway, why not just take it off?" Death impending or not, the angel's curiosity would not stop. It was after all one of the traits that had aided him many times in his tasks.

While the angelic realms ran am-muck in an attempt to deal with Death's arrival, sending messengers flitting trough the air from one place to the other. Massacre or not, there were still many of the lower echellons about to try and mount a counter force. Though pitiful it might be against the full force of the dark powers.

The Sign couldn't help but laugh at Orestes's request, he thought that the angel had realized how his face was like. "FIne...seE mY fAce" The mask was removed from a dark surface, thousands and thousands of black particles formed the Shade's body. The Sign's face was solid, but it appeared to have dust coming out of his eyes, eyes that were nothing more than black mist in an oval-like shape. Huge, filled with sharp teeth, the male's mouth resalted as a grin among the visible parts of his face, he had no nose, nor ears.

Meantime, Aurus began to converse with the lord of the fallen. "What is that you seek here? The Angelic realm and the Celestial Circle will not allow-" The Death raised its hand slowly, that was just enough to shut even the mightiest creature, who did not fear its deadly fingers? Only the dumbest or utterly brave. "Shh...I have what you need, what you want..." Just as if the Void's presence wasn't enough to cause trouble, the Death showed them 14 cards, although they did not burn yet for some reason. "Give me what I want...and I will free some of them". Those cards were the Sign's work, what he had done during the last few days, what did they contain?

Eyes widening, he couldn't help but stare. It took a while, but Orestes managed to shake it off. Stranger sights, at least just as strange, had crossed his vision before. The dust was perhaps what he needed to get used to the most of all. In any case, Orestes smiled. "Are you solid then?" It seemed so.

The angel reached out to touch the other's face, but stopped just before making contact questioningly. He'd always wondered about the impurities and what they might be like. This certainly served to help answer many of his musings.

Crude and evil were the deal's features, nothing new when it came to negotiations with the skeleton; it explained the terms and conditions that would be present if the Seraphs accepted the deal. "We will think about it" The Seraph of the North spoke with wisdom, but he would have to sacrifice too much. "Call them..." Ezequiel, the oldest of the Seraphs, the Supreme Leader, told the guards nearby. Guards who rushed to Orestes's home.

The Sign had covered his 'face' by now, knowing that he would be escorted to prison anytime soon. Nonetheless, the guards who knocked at the door loudly wanted to speak with Orestes first. "Lord Orestes, we require your presence at the Holy Hall" They waited for the Guardian to open the door.
