Well, THEY aren't cannibals. They have no clue what's going on! Maryanne is the cannibal. Oh gosh when she was cutting up that heart I almost wretched!
Yeah. That was definitely some kind of strong spell on those two. Who knows what it did!

It sucks that they killed Daphne though, I know that she betrayed Sam and all but she was the only other shape shifter.
But Lafayette's problem is that he's now developed PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). It happens after a traumatic event. It's the same thing Terry has from 'Nam, which is why he's a bit off kilter at times.

I like it because it's more gruesome and sexy, I like Twilight an all because of the romance but this is just far more exciting ^^
Never got around to reading the True Blood books though, wish I have, but I love the series! I've watched it since the first episode ^^

Sometimes I think True Blood is like... a "man's version" of Twilight! Lol...
I mean... just look! A vampire and a human in love... a "dog" (lol!) that like teh human too... a little town... reading minds... but only the loved one that can't be read....

True Blood is ALLLLLL about the gruesome! ^^
Twilight has it's cute and romantic moments that are just amazing, but True Blood has the sexy sassyness that makes it just oh so exciting! ^^
So in retrospect Twilight is a censored kid version of True Blood, and don't get me wrong, I love Twilight, but they are much better for reading than seeing on the big screen.

I don't think Twilight is a kid's version of True Blood. I've never read the books, but from watching the HBO series True Blood is much more a story about a minority group fighting for their rights (with the love story on the side... even more so now with the 2nd season) and Twilight is a love story through and through.

I knew, from reading the books, that Godric dies by sunlight.
But I admit I had hope that, like Lafayette, they would spare his fate >.<

I don't have cable or anything, so I definitely don't get HBO. But I got the first season on DVD after my friend told me that I should watch it and I would REALLY like it, since she knows I'm obsessed with vampires. I've read the books and I watched most of the episodes from the first season and I love it. I really wish I had HBO so I could watch season 2, but I guess I have to wait for it on DVD or to watch it at my friends. :)

I really, really loved Sunday's episode! The ending was so great and heartbreaking. But yeah, that Eric scene was quite hot, even though vampires aren't really my favorite.
It's a bit sad that the season is ending in a few weeks, though. I hope Alan Ball continues to make more episodes ;o;
