It's really nice to read poems from everyone. There are alot of people on here with really nice poetry. Thank you Cyndel for posting on my thread, still not many care to post on that topic of choice. Maybe it's too much of a challenge for most people to think that deeply? Whatever it is... i hope more post soon ^^

As for me, I'm about all poemed out. I can't think for anything.

I currently wrote this one and wondered what you though;

They seep through floors
Closing the doors around us
Windows clatter without sound
The world will spin round and round
A drop of red and then your gone
Not dealing with the depression around you
Breaking another heart like it was a dollor being spend
All we do is wonder why
Why we could not help you when you needed us the most
Why we could not see you were calling out for help
Why you left us for the heavens O-so high
Why we let you slip away in are hands
Why?

It's pretty good. But on line seven, think you meant 'spent' not spend.
And on line 12 that should be 'our' not are. ^^;

Yes, sorry, I'm a grammar nazi. Other than that, it's pretty good.

Thanks. Can't help it really. Not that being on spelling or grammer. But I try to put it so you can at least read it.

I dont understand why I can only think of depression when I write and nothing happy or enjoyable.

Yeah, I know the feeling. All of my junk is depressive.

Yes, I get most of my inspiration from real life experiences or songs and thoughts.
I'm 17 right now, 18 Nov. 9th.

It's a very good poem, yet again so sad. I wrote a new poem as well and it to is very sad ; ;

Sinking

Softly, gently, hints are sent to the world
Pleading whispers blown away by the wind
Undefined sorrow tears at the eyes
Uncontrolled rage burns at the core

Emotion melts into a raging sea of turmoil
The ship goes under
Arms flail
Voices scream
Tears flow
No one ever sees

Drowning in disillusions
Distant eyes stare out at the unfeeling world
Closed ears block out the raging storm
Cold words speak out from this empty shell
Alone to deal with the growing resentment
She begins to not care anymore
