I saw a limerick topic in the forum and just thinking of limericks makes me instantly start composing them. I'm just awful like that!

Anyway, these are Harry Potter limericks. Since they're little poems and not flat out fanfiction, I'm posting them here. I wrote them to cheer up a friend. These are the ones that are more forum friendly. :shock:

Ron Weasely can't handle spiders.
When he encounters them he gets quite...er
Embarrassingly Shrill
until someone will kill
Those eight legged arachnid nightmares!

Professor Snape goes down to the lake
to collect fresh clams with a rake
But the giant squid
demands fifteen quid
For every pound of clams he takes.

Severus really liked Lily
And she liked him back until he
Fell in with the wrong crowd
And told her aloud
That mudbloods really were silly.

confusing lol

How are they confusing? It's three poems consisting of five standard lines with an a,a, b, b, a rhyme pattern. It doesn't get much simpler than a limerick.

There once was a sleepless drop bear
Who sported a half head of hair.
This strange little Insomniac:
Was quite the megalomaniac
Who held Menewshans in his snare.

A fearless leader was he
the man that held the key
To the fair land of Mene
Where enjoyment was plenty
And users were filled with glee.
