That's what they call it. It's not like the monsoon from Jumanji, but the clouds do build up during the day and at night, they let loose. Love sitting out on the porch, watching the lightning dance from cloud to cloud.

Silver, when the storms come right over the apartment, it booms and rolls. Shakes the windows and the dishes. Freaking love it.

The only time I have been freaked out is when the lights went out after a bright flash of lightning and a huge thing of thunder. Had to scramble to find the lighter and get all the candles lit. Glad I have a bunch of pretty smelling candles.
