Yes and no.

I basically avoid the places where tourists go, so I never run into a whole bunch. They can be, especially the ones with those mini motor rental cars and when I'm on the bus because they keep pulling the stop line and they're not even close!

But other then that, not really, cause most of the ones I run into, don't even speak english. xD

So there are places then that aren't plagued by tourists? Thats where I'd want to go. I want to visit but I don't want to stay at a resort or a stereotypical place. I want to revel in the beauty of the actual landscape and place, not spend my time dealing with other tourists and crazy busy places.
