Ely, white tigers are not a subspecies of tiger. They are a mutated color variant on the recessive gene that only comes out through cross breeding Bengal tigers with Siberian tigers and many generations of inbreeding. ( out of every 10 white tigers born are put to death before they are a year old. Many because they are physically unattractive. What goes into making a white tiger leaves ALL white tigers harmed. a very small number are still peasing to look at yes, but they are mentally retarded (not as an insult, using as a medical term). Their skulls are too small for their brains. Some of them are born with cleft palates and die because they can't eat. Some have club foot. Some die from immune disorders. It's not that I hate white tigers. More like I hate how they are created, what happens to them , and the people who put them through that kind of torture.

And D, I am a marine biologist major. I will be dealing with plenty of sharks. I will be in place to start doing something about saving th endangered sharks. Currently I can't do anything about the tigers. And don't think I don't like sharks. I love all animals. I just love tigers most of all.
