Personality/about: Quiet woman, works hard has a
history of being sarcastic if put under pressure,
usually keeps herself to herself, but likes to have
a laugh, favorite place is the amusment park in
silent hill, she lives in an apartment on top of
cafe mist on katz street with her cat aloyicious.

Page 1:

Well one day no one showed up for work, it was foggy outside and
creepy... I was driving to work when the fog creeped in, it started
snowing for some bizarre reason and it rattled me. I got out of the
car opened the store and sat inside the staff room with a cup of
coffee waiting for the manager to turn up with some reports and stuff
so we could get on with the ordering. It came to 11:30 and still no
one had arrived, after a while I stepped outside and I guess that's
were my story begins....



`I can't believe this, maybe their doors got all frozen or something,'
Mayu stepped outside and looked around. The snow was falling fast and
she hadn't brought her coat.
Her black hair collecting snow like the roof of a house and her
shoulders soon did to. Mayu turned around to get back in the store
walked inside and breathed a sigh of relief. That is until the lights
flickered and went out, the store went very grey and cobwebby the
light shining in accentuated the fact that the cleaners were obviously
hiding something from the manager. But she didn't care right now… cold
and wet Mayu went back to the staff room and found a promotional
t-shirt to put on over her shirt.

Then she went to get another coffee, but the machine was broken…
` of course it is stupid… the powers out' which meant she'd have to go
down to the storeroom and turn the power back on, a switch probably
tripped… she'd probably trip Mayu hated going down there it was very
close to the river that connected with most of the town, you could
hear it rushing past, and with the pipes at such a high pressure they
dripped constantly making their storeroom very damp. And of course now
she'd have to find a torch. Walking towards the DIY section she heard
a rustle out the corner of her eye she was sure someone was crawling
on the floor. Checking the date on her watch to make sure she hadn't
missed a prank day. Mayu cautiously stepped towards the flashlights
grabbed one opened it and inserted some batteries from the stall next
to it. She fumbled for the switch almost dropping it and shone it
towards the place were something had moved…

Mayu walked quickly towards the back of the store turning around quite
often as she swore something was following her, walking for what
seemed like forever in such a small store she went head first into the
door.

`OW!….'

Turning the handle and shoving the door shut quickly behind her,
shuddering Mayu looked down the dark damp steps into the basement,
rumour was that there was a secret passage leading to the sewers… why
anyone would want to secretly nip to the sewers astounded her she
thought as she shone the torch light down the steps and proceed to
bolt down them. Luckily the fuse box was right next to the stairs and
as predicted all the switches had gone, turning them back to the ON
position the lights came on with a snap. What Mayu saw next terrified
her… it was massive pile of tinned carrots and veg…. All with the
expiry date 10/10/98… eugh…

`I hope our manager doesn't intend on selling those that's disgusting ..'

Mayu looked around the storeroom some more and noticed something
peculiar. Lying on the floor was what looked like a mutilated
mannequin she walked up to it and poked it… `eugh it was cold and
slimy' it didn't have a head and two legs were stuck out either end…
`maybe were selling shoes this month..?'…. Turning around to go back
upstairs disinterested there was a violent crash behind her all the
tins had fallen to the floor and the mannequin was stood upright
waving it's top legs violently, Mayu didn't stick around for long as
this thing kicked a can in her direction giving her a sizable welt on
her leg. It obviously didn't agree with out of date tinned veg either…
mayu ran back up the stairs opened the door went to the staff room
grabbed her bag and left the store making sure to lock up so that
thing didn't follow her. It flailed at the windows making a squeaking
noise. Looking around her the snow had stopped and a chilling silence
had fallen on Old silent hill… Mayu started walking……
