Insane amounts of battery life are what I miss most about the older cell phones. I could go ages without charging my first few phones; only problem was finding the charger when I needed it.

Also, the durability when they're dropped.

Right? I had an old slider phone that I dubbed Superman. The actual phone case was cracked and missing pieces when I got it, and then I dropped it two stories onto a hard floor. Ran downstairs expecting it to be busted--nope. There wasn't even a new crack in the case, and it worked fine for another year before giving up the ghost.

It makes me wonder what the previous owner did to make it crack, run over it with a tank?

Oh my God, that's amazing!

Old phones and Nintendo products. They're tough cookies.

Right? It wasn't even a Nokia phone; from one of those, I'd have expected no less. If I recall correctly, it was a Samsung.

I don't understand people that put them in cheap little cases that offer little to no protection on them. I wrap mine up tight in those cases that have a hard shell covered with rubber or silicone. My phones are an investment. I don't have a plan that comes with free phones, so I pay for each one and I don't want to risk breaking it!

For the aesthetic? Strong cases ought to be pretty cases.

If it comes down to aesthetics and a broken phone or a case on the chunky side and a protected phone, I'm going for the chunky case. I like my case anyway. It's purple and has a kickstand. :D

Phone charms need to catch on here, for one thing.

I used to have phone charms, but most phones have phased out the place to put them. You can use plugs in the ear phone jacks, but they don't always fit with all cases. And now iphones don't even have jacks!

Ugh, flipping chance is killing me. And I'm not feeling social, so I'm getting crap for leaves.

I hear you on the not social. I swear if I didn't really really want those EI I would take a break today.

Also I agree with the cases; every smartphone I've had, I covered up with a chunky durable case. Some of those cost more than my light bill, of course I'm going to protect them. And I like the idea of charms, but in reality I'd break them.

I had my family up and I was social the whole time they were here. And it was fun, but tiring. And then I immediately went back to work and yesterday was Halloween. It feels like my entire October's been super busy and now I just want to laze about. But I need more leaves!

Your ridiculous Amane-ness.

And your diet of chicken fries. Have you tried those Cheetos ones?

No way! It sounds so wrong. And I'm all chicken fries'd out for now. It's all about the regular fries again.
