This is my post (quoted) from the 25 craft challenge that I need to update and will be incorporating into this journal in the future:

I have completely re-written what projects I had completed and been working on! This list now includes where I left off from the 25 craft challenge back in 2014, plus current projects as of today, January 25, 2016!

Finished Projects

1. Upgraded my friend's business card holder that I made for him! 11/22/14
2. A professional-looking logo/icon for my app...this was completed for a class, but I have a feeling that a different version will be necessary in the future. 12/19/14
3. Made a pop-up Christmas card for my friend! 12/25/14
4. Fashioned a makeshift cradle for two (now three) of my friend's stuffed animals!

Works in Progress

1. A charcoal sketch of a cute rabbit (for a future present)
2. 3-D printed snowman ornament
3. 3-D printed speech bubble keychain with my name or initials in it

Work in Progress

Friendship Bracelets! Here is my progress on the rainbow friendship bracelet! It is just about done -- I added a button at the end for fastening purposes -- except that I need to figure out the measurements and all before I cut off the excess embroidery thread.

Discontinued Project

On the left, here was something I was practicing -- the Chinese Staircase friendship bracelet style, although I preferred the one I used for the rainbow bracelet, so I disassembled it. And on the right, this is the same style as the rainbow one, except it turned out to be not enough thread to make it long enough for a bracelet, so I disassembled this one too.

New Project

Guess what I will be making with these pretty pieces of paper! Hint: notice the pink and purple hues reminiscent of the upcoming Valentine's Day, and if you're familiar with origami, check out that rectangularly-shaped base!

Answer: Origami hearts in pink and purple hues! Perfect for the upcoming Valentine's Day :) I don't know what I will be using them for yet, exactly, but for now, they are just cute decorations for my shelf :)

I love the origami hearts. They're gorgeous and perfect for Valentine's Day <3

I love crafts but I've never been able to make origami very well. I can make a kissing monster/cootie catcher and I used to make those fortune teller thingies but that's as close to origami I can get without wrecking it and making a mess or a ball of crumpled paper lol.

Aww thank you laniparis! I do love making these pretty hearts!

Yes, I think the "snowball" is the easiest thing to make, haha ;D

This is an origami dragon I made a while ago. I originally posted it in my Art Gallery, before I had created this Hobbies and Crafting Journal. But I think it is more suited for this journal :) Plus, I wanted to re-upload it to imgur instead of Photobucket.

I made these Christmas cards a while ago but wanted to re-upload them to imgur instead of Photobucket. I also originally posted these in my Art Gallery before I created this Hobbies and Crafting Journal, and of course this is the more appropriate place to showcase them.

I found these tiny pretty seashells that someone gave me from the Dominican Republic (I think) back in like 6th grade! I love them a lot, although I am not sure what to use them for in the future.

I found a lot of beads! When I was younger, I used to make a ton of bracelets, necklaces, and other pretty things with beads. These happen to be beads that I have not used for projects yet, including some loose beads I found lying around that I was able to finally put together with other beads.

I have three of these cute stencils that have transportation method shapes in them! There are a train, a plane, and two different kinds of cars. I remember we received these stencils as part of the local library's summer reading program when we were younger.

Hmmm so I found this foam sticker of the letter Q, and I am pretty sure I have more foam letters and stickers than just this one. So I will have to look for them. I did find some foam shapes, though, without any sticky backing on them.

Prettyful confetti! And actually guess where these are from? Folders! You know, the glossy paper ones that have three holes in them, but the holes don't come punched out. There is just a perforation. So can you believe that my younger self actually saved these little colorful hole punch confetti pieces for a future project?

I cut these pretty hexagons and hearts out of colorful construction paper when I was younger. I love hexagons because you can put them together into beautiful patterns. I love hearts because, well, I love love. And I hope to use these paper cut outs in a future project.
