sighh today was a bad day OTL;;;;
my mom had surgery today (not health related, breast augmentation) but something caused her eye to be really irritated after the surgery and she had like immense pain..8( she has been in pain and has been crying for four hours nonstop... but ughhhh i just wish I knew what to do OTL;;; i can't really comfort her ..she isn't that type of woman weeps

i hope she just can rest and her eye heals during her rest...i know the eye heals fast and I hope that this is the case for her..

o___o;; You guys might wanna contact the doctor. If its normal for there to be that much pain, then the doctor shoulda told you or given you something for it.

the doctor knew about the eye thing but he gave her some medicine that helped for a little while. it was only until later the pain came back and even worse. 8( now her chest is hurting really bad too.... i wish i could be more useful. I'm so bad at these kinds of things. She literally told me to go back to my apartment (I live 2 hours away) because I wasn't helping and I was making things worse LOL;;; It doesn't help there is a language barrier..she doesn speak english well and I dont speak korean at all...haha;;;;ha...........cries

Oh definitely. I know swelling and pain is normal for her chest but she shouldn't be crying over it. My mom has average pain tolerance I think so yeah...

Is there any chance that you can get advice from the doctors? I assume your mum perform the surgery in a hospital that run 24 hours? They would always have some doctors on shift.

Haha, hopefully it's just the pain. She blames me for being too American to do anything right :P
I will just do my best and hope I dont stress her out too much...she is a lot better today!! It's only the swelling that is bothering her. And her meds are making her really sleepy haha.


The hospital is a private clinic. The doctor called us this morning after I sent pictures to one of the nurses. He was afraid she had a hematoma but if it gets worse we will have to go back to the clinic..that is 2 hours away OTL ;; (and where I live haha)
