I love the use of red it pops really nice but isnt overpowering and thats not common with such a deep color in my opinion. :)

maybe so I like how it tapers up to so its heavy on the bottom with the light green and is less on top next to the deep saturated green .

That's true! I totally didn't mean to do that. I don't have many backgrounds that go all the way to the edge of the avvie, so I like to use those trees to make the edges of my good backgrounds look nice.

Some Christmas paper my mom used to use would be red with green letters, and the letters would seem to be moving! I can't help but wonder if that was intended.
