I can imagine that it would hurt! O___o;;; And your brain, too. I was writing constantly for an hour for my Honors mid-term, and my hand hurt AND I got a blister on my thumb. >__>;;;

Yeah. When I need to write much and quickly, I write with a fountain pen. Ballpoints make your fingers hurt if you write too much with them. xD And when I write quick, I write small too - my record is fitting 64 words on one line, A4 size. xD

No fun trying to count that. xD

someone gave me a ballpoint pen for halloween.....worse candy ever...................tastes horrible XDD

I wanted to join NaNoWrimo, but now that I think of it I'm not really sure. I've never written fiction before DX

It does not have to be fiction; it can be non-fiction too, a collection of short stories, whatever! All that matters is that whatever you use for your word count has not been written before this November. :3

Oh I see. I thought it had to be a full novel :D Now I know that I can also do short stories, I should try :3

Halfway down on my 6th page, in Verdana 10, almost at 3.8k of words. 150-200 words to type out.

Yesterday, everything flowed out so easily. orz
Today is going much slower. And I don't think it's just because of house chores I needed to get done.
One of the other characters made his appearance, and he's just slowing everything down. D:

meilin: Ah, good luck on that. I often have that when a 'new' character has just been written into the story - when I'm a bit further, things tend to pick up speed again. :)
How much words are you at so far? :)

I'm at about 6,600 words.
I think the new character is laughing at me.
The later scenes with him I have in my head
come so clearly, but this intro part is just not there.

Don't worry about it; just remember, NaNo is about quantity, not quality! Just write whatever crap comes into your head and you can rewrite it come December. =D

XD I just said something similar to someone else doing NaNo.
