"Lord help me know." Cal said looking up at the ceiling hoping for divine intervention but none come "Why?" he only wanted one girl and that was yukina but he wasn't about to ask her like this he knew he would ask her soon but not because the horrors of his good looks where staring him down.

Yukina gave him a sympathetic look as the girl took a seat beside him, giving Yukina a jealous glare as she did so. Yukina recognized the girl , they had many classes together in high school. Her name was Rebeka, the most popular of the girls, and had been in love with Cal since the 9th grade. Yukina knew that she was especial jealous of her friendship with Cal. But that's all it had ever been, a friendship.

Rebeka looked away from Yukina and gave a flirtatious smile to Cal. "hey Cal, I haven't seen you ll summer and then you don't even say hi to me",she said with a pout,playfully twisting a piece of her hair.

Yukina gave a glare. "ever think that because he was hiding from your?",she said in a board tone.

Rebeka scowled at Yukina. Then looked back to Cal. "looks like your still playing the friend role out of sympathy"

Yukina gave a scowl of her own. "what makes you think it's out of sympathy? we've been friends since we were little"

Rebeka rolled her eyes. "so? everyone grows apart eventually, and with his handsome looks and well, your looks, it has to be sympathy, come on, you know as well as i do he's a popular guy, he'd be more if he wasn't playing the good guy to the poor little orphan girl",she said in a snotty tone.

With that Yukina stood up and in almost a flash was over the table ,and had Rebeka pined to the floor, arm pinned behind her back. "lessen to me you ... you ...witch, don't you ever talk about things you know nothing of! just because your so pathetic and desperate that you can't tell when some one is not interested does not give you the right to go after others who aren't as popular as you! so back off! at least I can tell when someone is not interested!",she said coldly before getting off her, grabbing her bag and left the cafeteria, ignoring the stares. Many people jaw dropped. Some of the students that had know her during school, shocked that she had done that.

"Yukina wait!." Cal sighed "You are the biggest pain in the ass ever and the biggest whore in the world I would never go out with you." he stood glaring at her and her posse "you ever make fun of yukina again and i will personly see to it that none of the jocks will go out with you again you'll be stuck with the gross nerds.'' he hurried after yukina.

Yukina sighed as she slowed her pace as walked down the hall, hearing foot steps coming up to he in a quick pace. Stopping she turned looking at Cal. "she's right you know",she muttered looking down.

"About what?" Cal asked stopping in front of her.

Yukina looked to him. "if we hung out less, youed be more popular and you'ed get any girl you had your heart set on",she said softly.

"HOnestly I don't want to be popular there a bunch of stobs and I'm not like them at all." Cal said "besides any girl who would go out with me would only want to because I'm good looking and popular the girl I want to go out with doesn't care about that stuff."

Yukina gave a small smile. "then we will need to find you someone like that!",she said as she started walking again.

Cal groaned softly "she has been hanging around my sister again." he hurried after her "I think I found someone like that."

Yukina flinched some and looked at him. "oh .. well, that's...great",she said softly. She looked down to her watched and let out a sigh. "i have to go, work starts early today, so i have to go grab whatever the professors are teaching today and study",she said looking to the ground. "I'll see you after",she said softly and quickly ducked into a classroom.

"WAIT! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WAIT!" Cal said "I god this isn't the way I had pictured this going at all but what the hell ? nothing gain nothing lost right? THe girl I'm talking about it is you."

Yukina froze at the door her face oing a deep red she took a deep breath and turned to him. "I-its is?",she said softly, almost in shock. 'i'm dreaming ... i have to be ......, she thought to herself. She went over to him. "y-your not , just teaseing r-right?"

"Of course not would I tease you about some thing like this." Cal sadi smiling.

Yukina gave him a look. "i do recall an incident in the 7th grade where you did",she said still blushing deeply.

"We were younger then. I'm being totally serious now though." Cal said shrugging.

Yukina stared up ay him and smiled some. "w-well , i've had ... feelings for you ... for a l-long time now",she said shyly staring at her feet.

"Well...do you think we should go out?" Cal said feeling rediculous.

Yukina looked to him nervously. "i-if you want ....i think we should, at least give it a try.... but only if your up for it, i mean I'm up for it, but i don't want you too feel obligated or anything uh", she sighed , knowing she was babbling but she couldn't help it..

Cal smiled "You're babbling." he took her hand and squeezed it.

Yukina blushed deepened even more (if possible lol) and she looked to her feet. "I ... I know i cant help it"

"its ok it's cute." Cal said laughing lightly "well got to get to class see you later girlfriend."

Yukina looked to him a shy smile comeing to her face. ". ok. and come by the shop after , I have a surprise for you, okay?" she said reluctantly letting go of his hand. the shop being the auto shop her father had started years ago and had been left to her after her parents passed. since she was young she was taught how to repair things. it also how to restore and hold things. " and trust me when I say you'll like the surprise" she said giving a bright smile.

Cal raised his eyebrows then cursed as the bell rang. "Dention here I come." he said and hurried off to class before he was even more late.

Yukina watched him run off and smiled some. She then quickly went to the classes, got all the work she needed and then spead off to work. She worked down town at a small dinner , owned by a older couple who treated her often as family. Running in there she quickly changed and started to work right away, with in 8 hours time her shift was already done , she had changed back into normal clothing then headed for the shop. Only being a block away. Getting there she changed into an overalls and a bandana and went to wrk on Cal's surpsrise.

Cal showed up with a scowl on his face "I really hate teachers."
