This is a roleplay with Happydeath & Lady Vengeance only. You are free to read along as you like, but please do not post.

Thank you~

For years now, the people of the city of Tranzvilla had been living in peace and harmony. Nothing bad ever seemed to happen within this city, it was almost even considered perfection for a city to many of it's citizens since there was never really crime that ever went on in the city nor were there any conflicts. However, that all changed about a year or so later. Two young friends had joined forces with one another and thought that the whole idea of this city being too perfect was becoming way too out of hand.
Within the city may had been perfection, but on the outside of the city were other homes that lived in small villages that were poor and couldn't afford protection from anyone let alone money to buy food. The reason behind why these two had started their life of crime and have become so well at it is nearly unknown to everyone in the city. All that is truly known about them is the simple fact that they are being hunted by all the law enforcers in the city.

With his mask

Without his mask
Name: Jay Daishi
Race: Fallen Angel
Age: Looks to be around 20; but is near around the age of 100.
Weaponry: A pair of twin daggers sheathed on each side of his waist, posin smoke pellets, and martial arts.
Abilities: His left eye as a dark red glow to it that is able to suck the souls out of people's bodies leaving them lifeless but he tends to try and avoid using it, he also has a pair of pitch black angel wings but keeps them hidden at all times to keep his identity of being a fallen angel hidden.
Bio: Jay was born and raised into a small village on the outskirts of the city just like many of the other families that were born before the city was built. Since birth, Jay has never really been able to know his parents since he was raised into the orphanage within the village. Even after growing up older into his years to the point that he had learned how to walk and talk, when he would try and ask about his parents to the orphanage staff members they would never give away any information whatsoever. Even after he was finally old enough to leave the orphange and went in search of his family, it seemed as though his parents had left the village without any tracks on where they might've went. It was simple enough that anyone could figure it out, his own parents left him alone at birth and didn't seem to even care if it meant they would never see their only son ever again. So growing up alone, he had no other choice but to become a criminal and steal money and whatever he could to survive from the city.
Unfortunately for him, one day when he was caught stealing instead one of the banks of the city, Jay hadn't realized it was heavily guarded and ended up being killed on spot that same day while he was trying to steal. However, even with his death Jay couldn't accept the thought that he was going to die there and rejected himself going to heaven. Ever since that day, he became a fallen and refused to rest in peace no matter what the cost maybe. The red eye that he has is somewhat considered a curse to him rather then simply just a power, the curse itself had came from the sorrow and pain his heart feels for his parent's betrayal.

Masked.
Unmasked.

Name: Lydia Minato

Age: Just turned 18! (Meaning she can be prosecuted in jail now.)

Race: Human.

Weaponry: Lydia doesn't like resorting to violence, but she's an archer and for something quick, keeps a pistol strapped to her thigh.

Abilities: Lydia, being human, doesn't have any special powers, but she is very flexible and a gymnast with fast reflexes, making her able to run far distances, jump very high, and can dodge a little easier than another human.

Personality: Lydia is quiet when she first meets you, but she enjoys a nice adrenaline rush, adventure, and has a sassy, rebellious attitude with lady like features. She never curses, knows proper etiquette, and is very polite. Her main cause is to steal from the rich and give to the poor.

Bio: Lydia comes from the outskirts of town, meaning very poor and starving people. She is a lady, but curses the town that her village surrounds for it's neglect of it's people. Lydia, who seems quiet, has watched her mother die of an illness that, because they were poor, the city failed to give them any treatment from the virus she had, leaving Lydia alone in her small house. Her father, one of the senators in the city, had left them for another woman in Tranzvilla. Out for vengeance, Lydia steals from the city to give to her mother's old friend's in the poor village, and while doing so, getting dirt on where her father lives to confront him.

Standing above a large building within the middle of the city that was right across the street from one of the largest jewelry stores throughout the entire city was a pitch black male figure. This male's name was Jay Daishi and he was one of two of the most infamous thieves of the city of Tranzvilla, as usual every time Jay would go to steal something from someone he would always be wearing his gas mask over half his face while keeping his pitch black hair covering over his left eye. "There it is.." He whispered to himself quietly as the clouds slowly continued to move over the night sky until they finally came over to cover up the only light there was from the moon. Within a matter of seconds, once the clouds have blown over and the moonlight shined down onto the rooftop once more, Jay had vanished from his standing spot and was already standing upon the rooftop of the jewelry store.
Taking a look through the ceiling window, there it laid on a small table. One of the largest gems he had ever laid his eyes upon. With his eyes remaining calm, Jay had pulled out a single one of his daggers to remove one of the glasses from the window so that he could make his way down. However, rather then going straight down into the middle of the room and stealing the gem. Jay slightly popped his head in to take a look around for any cameras in the room before entering, or let alone if there were any guards still patrolling around this time.

Lydia crept into the building through a side window, which she had picked the lock to. The cold breeze blew and sent a chill up her spine. What is this feeling? The raven haired female thought, slowly closing the small window as she propped herself up on her two legs. A feeling of uncertainty rushed through her body, the only time ever. It was a strange feeling to Lydia; her tight black suit that pressed against her small framed, skinny body in black was now harder to distinguish in the dark, her mask hiding her face perfectly.

Peering around the building, she began to make her way towards the room where the jewel was, seeing no one around. Figures, these lazy ass guards, She huffed, playing with the end of her pony tail as she saw the sparkling jewel. How delicious it looked, "I wonder how many families that would feed," She cooed to herself, about to run towards it; she stopped herself.

Taking out a cigarette, she lit it and took a puff, blowing it in front of her. As if once invisible, red laser like lines surrounded the jewel. Lydia let the cigarette drop and stepped on it, making her small frame through the red lasers that activated the alarm. Doing flips, cartwheels, and barely missing hitting a laser and finally at the source the jem's sparkle was coming from.

Lydia's crystal blue eyes shined at the jewel, taking one of her arrows and beginning to carve a circle around the glass encased jewel, slowly but surely cutting through the glass. The city's "mascot" would be stolen and to think, a girl her age could send an entire city into a frenzy! Lydia let out a small, evil cackle, continuing to carve through the glass. Though, as confident as she felt getting this far, the eerie sense of a cold presence and uncertainty filled her body, causing more shivers up her spine.

Staring into the large room filled with all sorts of different jewelry around the entire room. It had seemed as though not a single soul was patrolling for the rest of the night, this was the perfect chance for Jay to just swoop down and grab the gem and immediately get out without being seen or having to go through trouble of slipping pass any security. A small smirk slowly played across his own lips from underneath the mask as he took a single step through the window, prepared to reopen his wings and come down into the room.
However, yet another sound of what seemed like doors opening up down below in the large room had caught the attention of the young thief. Quickly pulling his foot back out and poking his head through the window for a second time, he took a look around the room once more. The only light that was given was the bright white light that shined into the room from the moon from the window on the rooftop. Squinting his eyes just barely to get a better view of who was within the room, a light mental gasp had went through Jay's mind as he had seen what seemed to be yet another thief trying to steal the gem. This one however, was a female. 'I thought I was the only thief in this city...what the hell does she think she's doing..?!' he thought to himself as he watched how she easily slipped pass the infer-red lasers only to reach the small glass box that held the gem they both wanted to steal.
For only a moment, Jay watched as how the girl sliced the glass in the shape of a circle. She was trying to steal the gem after-all, if she stole that what was he going to eat for the rest of the month? Cursing quietly to himself, he pulled out a single one of his daggers and threw it straight down in between her and the glass, only to aim it toward the ground where she was standing as a warning rather then trying to harm her. Immediately right after, he had jumped down from the ceiling window to land several feet away from her. "Get away from that gem. It's mine." He whispered out loud to make sure he wouldn't activate any sound alarms that might surround the entire room.

Lydia who had just gotten the top off the glass grinned and opened her bag, until she was rudely interrupted by a dagger at her feet. Almost instantly she looked up and saw no one for a second, as she looked around there was a male figure trying to claim her prize. The female blinked and looked the man over. He did seem menacing and someone she shouldn't toy around with. However, that would be against her nature entirely.

"It's yours?" Lydia questioned with a sarcastic tone, her eyes glaring at the taller male in front of her. Everyone was taller than her since she only stood 5'3''. With a quick lift of the glass and grab of her hand, the woman teasingly placed the gem in her satchel, raising an eyebrow at the male. Who was he? He was trying to steal the same item? Probably for selfish reasons..

"Looks to me like it ain't got your name on it, kid," She spoke with a not visible smirk, forgetting about the lasers that just stood behind her. Her eyes softened, fingering the gem in her satchel as she began to twirl the end of her ponytail yet again. She knew this man. She knew of another thief, but she never had seen him before. As she was about to speak again, the woman made a big mistake. She turned and her leg went through a laser, a loud, screeching alarm beginning to sound off.

Lydia, wide eyed, looked at the male for a split second and bolted to search from the opening which seemed so far away, leaving her precious, hand crafted arrow at the scene of the crime. Shit, shit, shit. Lydia thought, her blue eyes still wide from shock. She knew her gut feeling wasn't a joke, and now she had some man trying to take her treasure! Finders keepers!

Glaring toward the female that remained standing in front of the large glass box which had the gem they both wanted on the inside. The first thought of seeing this female trying to steal the gem he was going to take was that she was going to take it and go try and sell it for a quick buck for herself. Just the thought that she was going to take all the money for herself and go buy herself something nice or some good food got him a bit annoyed, but Jay made sure that he wouldn't show any signs that he was annoyed in any way. Rather, when she had asked him that the gem was his, he could only give a light nod. "Yes, its mine. Now hand it over." he demanded before watching as how she took the gem anyway and placed it into her own satchel rather then give it to him.

"Who are you calling a kid?..you don't even know me." Jay spoke out, one of his own daggers still remaining at her foot meant that if the two of them got into a battle right now, he would be at a large disadvantage considering he didn't even have a single clue of what she could possess as a weapons with her that might be hidden. "Look just give me the gem and we can both get on our way out of here." He spoke once more only to have both of his own eyes widen up in shock when the entire room began to flash a bright red, along with a loud blaring sound of the alarm going off. 'Dammit..!' he mentally cursed to himself, within a matter of seconds sirens were easily heard throughout the city and closing in on their location.

Jay's dagger still remained jammed in the ground right at the scene of where the gem was stolen and there wasn't exactly much time to run over there and grab that. Speaking of the gem, now Jay had two choices. One; charge at the female and try to get the gem at the cost of possibility getting caught by the police if not escape without the gem in his possession and go through who knows how long before eating again. Without so much as a second of thought, Jay charged forward before throwing down a couple of pellets onto the ground, as soon as the pellets made contact with the ground a small explosion covered the room creating a large yet thick smoke of poisonous gas. Within all the smoke, in one hand Jay held his dagger while in his free hand he had tried to reach out to grab onto the gem if possible before the police had gotten there. "I need that gem!"

Lydia gasped at the sudden gas appearing around her and her wide eyes grew even wider with fear. Who was this freak and why did he want the gem so badly? The woman took out the gem and held it in her hands because it was that big, "You're going to make us get caught, man!" She shouted, the gas making her cough. With that, the woman accidentally tipped over from the grabbing motion and trying to dodge it and the gem broke in half.

The woman crawled towards her broken gem and growled, kicking the tall man in the knee to bring him down to the ground with her, "Over my dead bo-.." Before she could finish her sentence, she heard footsteps and whistles of the police starting to line up down the hall. Oh god, not like this. Please, I don't want to go to jail! She thought with a whimper, shoveling the broken pieces in her satchel as she got up and began to run once again, leaving the man behind.

She huffed, her conscience getting the better of her and turned back, grabbing the man by the arm to help him up and grabbed his dagger from the ground, placing it in her satchel as well, "Let's go, I can't just leave you!" She shouted, helping him up on his feet since she was sure his knee wasn't dislocated maybe a bit sore and grabbed his wrist, pulling him along gently as they both ran towards an exit. Cornered, everywhere.

So, this would be the end of her short thief life, eh? Lydia bit her lip from inside the mask in nervousness, glancing around the room for an escape, "Put your hands up!" A police officer shouted, holding out a pistol. Lydia slowly began to put her hands up as she eyed the window that was near them. She cocked her head towards the window to the other male thief, smirking, she took the pistol from her thigh and shot at the only police officer with the gun, causing him to drop his gun, "The window!" Lydia hollered towards the thief, turning around as the officers struggled to get their guns out.

Even with the female thief calling out that they were going to get caught if Jay didn't stop trying to get the gem so badly. He wouldn't simply just come to a complete halt and stop trying to grab the gem into his possession but rather he continued to try to get it until the loud sound of a crack on the floor was heard. There was nothing else in the room let alone around them that could've made such a sound, the gem had broken in half. It's value may still had been great, but with it broken like that and time running out faster then ever; Jay took a couple of steps backwards before his eyes widened up once more to hear what seemed to be the police making their footsteps closer and closer into the room both the thieves were within.

Right as he tried to reach for the two broken pieces, a sharp and extremely painful jolt came right into his knee as he quickly fell to the ground with one hand over his knee. "Damn you!" He cursed out at the female thief for kicking him before turning his gaze right over toward the direction of the police were coming from. 'I have no choice..' he mentally spoke to himself as he moved a single hand close to his hair that covered his left eye. Jay had planned to use an ability that would be cruel but to him, other then using his wings to fly out of here and proving to everyone that he wasn't human this was nearly the only way to make sure no one would know about who he truly was.

However, right before he could even move a single strand of hair out of his left eye's view. The sudden tug of his arm was felt as Jay gasped sharply, the female thief was helping him escape? But why? Whatever the case was, he decided to follow along rather then risk using his cruel power and followed her to the back of the store toward the exit door. When ordered to raise their hands up, Jay refused to do so even when the female thief was beginning to do so herself. Rather hearing the shot come from her and being told to use the window. Jay didn't waste any time to join the girl to jump out the window and begin running in the same direction she was going. "What the hell do you even need that gem for?!...cant you give it to someone who really needs it?!" He yelled out toward the female thief while he followed along with her from behind, easily hearing the police chase after them from behind.

Lydia ran quickly down a path she had come from, raising an eyebrow on how the male followed her just as quickly, "Wow, you're quick," She said with a nervous laugh and grin, almost as if she had ignored his question. She scanned the area and hopped from the roof area they were on, motioning the male to follow her as she vanished into the darkness around the corner, poking her head out so that the man knew where to follow.

As soon as she knew that he was behind her, Lydia looked over towards the other corner and saw the cop cars, closing her eyes. Where could they go that was safe? "I have no ideas, I.." She paused as she felt her foot feel something. A cellar? She smirked and pulled up on the doors on the floor that led to a basement like area, she slipped through and laughed, tapping the male ankle that was near her, "I do need it. We.." she began, closing the doors above them and put a finger over her lips hearing confused police officers run past the place and curse themselves, "Damn kids!"

Lydia sighed in relief and peered into the darkness, not feeling a presence or seeing any light. Lydia took a flashlight from her satchel and flashed it at the male, "My village needs this gem; we're starving out there," She spoke with what seemed like a toxic voice, basically cursing this city, "You should be asking that question yourself," She sighed and rubbed her shoulder, "I'll give you what's left after I feed my village, what do you say?" Lydia questioned with a half smile, obviously knowing she would probably be robbed right then and there by the masked man.

Running along the path to follow the girl around every corner, Jay never fell too far behind the female thief. It wasn't truly difficult for him to continue running without losing his breath too much since he was already dead in a sort of way. However, if he had continued to run for too much longer, then he would've sooner or later lost his breath and had to end up catching it. Without so much as a warning when the female thief had come to a complete stop to look of where to go on next to, Jay didn't bother to take the chance to steal the gem but rather look around to see or hear where the police guards were. Only to look back for a moment when he had noticed how the girl had just suddenly vanished without a trace. Both his eyes widened as he blinked his right bright blue eye in shock that she had left him all alone just like that. "Seriously--" he was only able to get a single word out when a tap at the ankle caught his attention.

She was in a cellar right beneath him, motioning for him to come in. He didn't waste any time to just jump down to get into the cellar with the female thief. Soon within minutes, hearing as how the police had left the area in search for the the two thieves. Jay gave a deep sigh of relief as he turned his attention toward the female thief, shocked at himself that he didn't just try and take the gem right at the moment he could but would rather listen to why she wanted it. Hearing her reason, he blinked his blue eye once more before closing it and turning his back to her. "Nevermind..keep it. I don't need it that bad." he spoke softly, Jay had always been one to steal to feed himself but if it was to feed other people that truly needed it, he wasn't really one to be selfish and try to keep food for himself. However, his stomach was always one to disagree. Right after he had spoken, the sound of his stomach growled loudly at him as Jay quickly wrapped both his arms around his stomach lightly, a small crimson blush spreading across his cheeks. 'dammit..that wasn't supposed to happen..'

Lydia, who was surprised he had just given the gem away after all that trouble, suddenly grinned in delight, taking off her mask so that the thief could see it, "Seems to me you'll need it," She joked, holding out half of the gem towards him. She had never seem him around before, but she was curious now from where he had come from, "I'm Lydia," she introduced herself, giving a playful bow, "At your service, and you are?" she asked, sitting her tush on a crate that was there. The sirens of the police car sounded and she heard the cars pull out, untying her black hair so that it the coldness of the cellar wouldn't bother her.

"You know, you're not so bad when you're actually talking," Lydia laughed, knowing that her village would be fine with half of the gem's riches. She smiled warmly and glanced back up at the male, "I haven't seen you around before..." She began, pursing her lips as if she knew they weren't going to see each other much after this encounter, "Where ya' from?" she asked, peering up at the tall, dark, and somewhat handsome male from what she saw, "I'm from right outside the city, not too great, eh?"

With his stomach growling loudly at him, Jay kept a slightly crimson blush across his cheeks. Even though his lips would always say one thing, whenever it came to his stomach on the other hand it would always disagree with them whether he'd want it to or not. Without so much as a word, he turned his face away from the female thief and took the gem into his own grasp before stuffing it onto his own side pouch. Slowly enough as his blush finally came to a halt, he returned his gaze onto Lydia's face as she removed her mask to finally reveal her true face. His blue eye slowly widened up for only a second as he slightly recognized the girl, he wasn't too sure if he had seen her before in his village but for some strange reason he had gotten a slight deja vu feeling. Whatever the case was, he removed his own mask that finally revealed his own full face. "My name is Jay." he introduced himself as well before making his way over to the wall nearest to the exit of the cellar and leaning against it. when a little bit more of the time would go by, Jay would make sure to leave immediately.

Ignoring the first two comments Lydia had for him, he kept silent for a moment before crossing his arms. Only keep his eyes onto her the entire time as though he couldn't remove his own self from looking at her. With her mask off and her full true face revealed, it easily gave away the true beauty of her face that got him nearly to the point of not being able to look away. After hearing her question and hearing where she was from, Jay couldn't help but to stay silent once more for about a minute or so. Originally, he had only known about his village outside of the city so he wasn't too sure if the two of them were speaking of the same village or not. "I'm from a village....outside of the city as well. Exactly..where is yours? What does it look like?" Jay asked to double check if they were living in the same village this entire time, or if there were other villages out there that he just didn't know about until now.

Lydia raised an eyebrow at the male once again as soon as his mask was taken off. Such pretty eyes, far prettier than her own! Or.. eye.. The female giggled to herself because of her thought process and looked down at her feet, holding her mask on her lap, "You're a pretty kind guy when you're not trying to steal anything, Jay," she mentioned, continuing to listen outside of what was happening. The area was almost cleared for them to go, and she was ready to turn in her half of the gem for a pretty price! Lydia scanned Jay's face and pouted, feeling as if she had met him some other time, "Hmm..,"

"Oh!" Lydia perked up, then began to be curious yet again, "I thought there was only one village.. maybe there's more?" She questioned, closing her eyes as if to think of any others that were out there. None that she knew of, "I'm from just outside the city walls. It's a very poor village, it's why I.." Lydia paused, her faced seeming pained for a second as she looked away from Jay, "I'm sure with this gem they'll be all fed for at least a few days," she continued, "Then I'll be sure to take something from this city again, you know, like the crown in the museum," she smiled, knowing he probably knew of it as well, "If you'd like, I'll manage to break that too somehow!"

Staying near the wall with his back against it and arms crossed, Jay slowly let a small smile play across his lips when Lydia gave him the compliment of being kind when he wasn't trying to steal things. Shaking his head lightly at the thought of being kind only during those times, a small chuckle of his own escaped his lips. "Well, I gotta admit. Your a real nice person to be using the money for such a cause. Guess the looks aren't just for show huh?" He joked as he let out another small chuckle of his own before slowly lowering down his arms to his sides. The time was almost right for the two of them to leave this dark area and return to where they came from, who knew if the two would even meet again or let alone if fate would lead them back to see one another again.

When Lydia spoke of there might being more then one village on the outside of the city, Jay stayed silent for a moment in doubt that there would be more outside of the city. Other then the wilderness, it seemed nearly impossible for many villages to be created out in the middle of nowhere. Would that mean the small yet poor village was where they both lived at the same time, this entire time and they just never realized it? Before even speaking a single word out, right when she had stopped in the middle of her sentence only to look away from him. Jay turned over to look at her curiously on what could've bothered her. "Whats wrong? A..are you alright?" He had asked only to hear that the gem's money would last her village for a few days and that they could somehow split the crown inside the museum of the city as well.

Slowly reaching into the pouch to pull out the other half of the gem, Jay stared at the gem in his hand for a moment before handing it over to her. "Here. Take it. You have a whole village to feed. I can survive a day or two without food. I'll be fine." He stated before making his way over to the cellar door and opening it back up. The police had finally left the entire area, and leaving now was the perfect chance to get back to the village. It was at least one way to find out if the two of them were from the same village or not, even if they were it wouldn't really had changed Jay's idea of still staying as a thief. So without much time wasted, he immediately ran off into the darkness of the night to return to the village he had came from.

With in seconds, the other half of the gem was back in her hands and she was left alone in the darkness. Lydia blinked, pondering what had really happened. She had the whole gem now? The female glanced around in the darkness and placed the gem in her satchel, walking towards the ladder from which they both had came from, "Jay, huh?" she questioned to herself as she opened the cellar doors and stared upon the moonlit sky, the breeze going through her hair, "Nice guy after all."

--

Run down and old; the small village was basically just dirt and huts. Lydia let out a small sigh as the dreary sky's gray light shone down upon her tattered rags on her frail body, continuing to hold her satchel filled with the precious two pieces of gem. Lydia let the cool breeze caress her pink cheeks as she made her way to the oldest woman in town's house. She was her mother's friend before her mother passed away and she was like Lydia's second mother at that. The girl dragged her feet in hunger, finally arriving at the hut. Knocking at the door with a small smile so that her own hunger wouldn't show, Lydia let out a relieved sigh as Marie opened the door, "Hello, my child!" the old woman spoke in a creaky voice, inviting the young woman in.

"Hello, mother Marie." Lydia greeted in response respectfully with a bigger grin now. The girl in her tattered dress and worn out mary janes sat on the wooden chair as she handed over the satchel to the noble woman, Mother Marie opened the satchel and gasped, "Good heavens, child! Where on earth did you get this?!" Lydia nodded and decided to get up and sweep the old woman's floor, letting her sit down, "I dug this up, mother Marie," Lydia whispered to her, shyly. Of course she hadn't dug it up, but the fact it was broken in half made it more believable. The older woman had tears welled up in her eyes, "Thank the Gods, Lydia, this will feed our village for at least a month!" The older woman put on her coat and got her cane, placing the satchel on her shoulder, "I must get everyone this food they deserve at once. You understand, Lydia, darling? There is a morsel or two of bread on the counter I saved for you," She said as she continued and slowly made her way towards the door.

Lydia nodded and took the bread in her mouth once she had passed the counter. How delicious it was, stale, so be it. The blue eyed girl knew what the jewel would cost and how Mother Marie would exchange it. She always left baskets in front of all the villager's homes full of food, or at least half filled! "Hold on, Marie," Lydia began, suddenly the image of the other thief flashed in her mind. She wouldn't have had the whole gem if it weren't for him being so generous, "Do we happen to have a... a.." Lydia paused and pursed her lips, trying to remember the man's name, "James? Jake? In the village?" Lydia asked the older woman. The older woman put a finger on her chin for a second, "My dear, I don't believe we do..."

With a sigh of defeat, Lydia had to see him again. Thank the man whose name started with the letter "J" for giving them this blessed gift at least! Lydia's eyes widened and spoke once again, more excitedly, "Wait, Marie! Jay! What about a Jay?" She asked excitedly as she opened the door for the older woman. She knew everyone in the village, she had to know someone with that name at least. The woman let out a soft, warm hearted chuckle and caressed the girl's cheek, "My dear, what is this fascination? I suppose you're talking about the one who lives farther away from us, correct?" Marie asked, her brittle bones not being able to travel that far at times, "Oh! Thank you for reminding me, he'll be needing to get a basket as well. Thank the heavens, thank the Gods!" The older woman and Lydia walked out to turn in the jewel and the agreement of Lydia going out to deliver the basket was in session.

The skies grew darker and a house not far than a mile remained in the outskirts of the village. Lydia, with a basket full of food, walked towards the house that was now in sight. Not knowing whether or not it belonged to the man she had met yesterday, she decided either way she was doing a good deed in carrying out a basket of food to the house that had been repeatedly neglected by Mother Marie because of it's distance. Thoughts ran through Lydia's mind as she finally got to the front door, tapping on it lightly, "Hello? Anyone in there?" She spoke, her voice rich and hopeful, pressing her ear to the door for a moment.

Running through the dark alleyways of the large city with the moonlight shining down upon him for only a matter of minutes before it had disappeared either due to the clouds of the night sky if not him moving underneath the shadows of the buildings. Jay raced down multiple different streets only to finally come to a complete stop near the border between the city and the outskirts. Standing several feet away from the border, Jay could easily see as how there were already many guards posted at the border as though they were waiting for the thieves to go that way. Slipping his mask up a bit over his mouth and nose, Jay exhaled a soft sigh before closing both of his eyes. Immediately within a matter of seconds, he reopened both his eyes widely only to have his left eye begin glowing a deep dark red in the darkness. Instantly, a pair of black feathered wings sprouted out from Jay's back as he flew up into the air as quickly as he could only to fly over the heads of all the guards that were posted below him at the border gates. "Whats so special about that gem..?" He whispered to himself, this hadn't been the first time Jay had stolen something from the city and every time he would steal something, the police would never go this far as to catch him.

Whatever the case was all Jay really cared about at the moment was to get back to his home and try to rest up for the rest of the night. Even if it had meant that he was going to have to go for the next few days without food, it wasn't really going to make a difference to him. Jay was pretty much already considered dead in a sort of way, the only problem was that even being a fallen he still had the urge to eat like any ordinary human would have. It had only taken a matter of time for Jay to reach his small home on the outskirts of the city as well. Immediately folding his wings against his back, he landed onto the front door before opening it and closing it behind him. A light yawn escaped his lips as he made his way into his small bathroom where he looked into the mirror. His left eye was still glowing the bright red color it normally always had when he wasn't trying to hide his identity. "I wonder when things will get better in this world.." He asked himself before tying his hair back into a half pony-tail and letting the rest of his hair drop down to his sides. For only a moment, Jay closed both his eyes only to reopen them and have them now both the same bright blue eyes as he had with his one right eye.

Stepping out from the bathroom, Jay had given yet another yawn as he stretched his arms over his head. As he had began to make his way toward his bedroom, he couldn't seem to stop getting the other thief's face or let alone name out of his head. Lydia. Even though she was a thief like himself, she wasn't stealing that gem for herself but rather for her village, she was kind and also had the beauty to match with it. Strangely enough, the thought of not seeing her again gave a slight bit of sorrow through Jay's mind as he arrived at the door to his bedroom. Before being able to reach down and open his door, the sound of knocking and a familiar voice at his front door had taken his attention. "Who could that be..at this time..?" He asked himself as he made his way over toward the front door. While making his way over to the front door, Jay's wings had slowly retracted themselves into a small black light until both of the wings had completely vanished from sight.

Keeping one of his two daggers sheathed behind him, Jay slowly opened the door by only a crack to see who it was that was standing on the other side. Making sure to keep both his hands visible just to hide the fact that there was a weapon hidden behind him. For only a second did his eyes widen to see that it was actually Lydia standing on the other side of the door, in her hand was a basket of food from what it appeared to be. Rather then speaking up and asking why she was here at his home, Jay tilted his head before taking a look down at the basket and back toward her face. "Yes?..can I help you?" He asked, his voice still the same as it was when he had spoken to Lydia earlier however his looks showed a completely different person. His skin slightly more tanned, both his eyes revealed to be both blue and his hair tied back into a half pony-tail.
