Wingless;
Madoneko's poetry thread

Words made up her silver wings
Blue kisses trailed her sky
She was always looking up
Wanting; wishing she could fly~

Hello! This is my poetry/drabble thread~

Criticism is absolutely welcome, you can post here, but I'd rather you message me. <3
And comments and messages are always loved. :]

There are five statuses for my poetry
In progress *

Finished/old**

*no criticism please
I like to have the major part done before I get criticism~
**also no criticism please
Comments are fine but these are the poems I've put up for you to read. I'm finished with them.

If it's green coloured I really need crit! I'm so competitive...xD

Hope yo enjoy reading them!

Not wanting to spread her wings though
The black ink burned her words
So afraid to fall, she still risked it all
And flew upwards; going golden with the birds.

When God Blinks
Poem Title: When God Blinks
Word Count: 160
Theme: Anti-war
Warning: None
Dedicated to: People...against war? >.>

When God blinks, everything stops.
The world temporarily shuts down, and the sky goes dark.
His eyelashes brush the ashes off the forests
Sweeping, swoosh…swoosh…oh so delicately as to not break them…
Softly, they brush over the heads of little ones
Whispering them to sleep, swoosh…swoosh…
Moving the white sea foam to the stones of the sand
Hushing the world to sleep, swoosh…swoosh…swoosh…
And then it is closed and the winds drop
Lulling, lulling, the breezes sing softly to themselves
As they flutter like ghosts over sleeping souls
Swoosh…swoosh…
This is midnight.
Remains of tears rest on God’s eyes like stars
Damp like rain, soundless...
And then, eyelids flutter, and the lashes curl up.
Brushing the dust of the earth up
Rising, rustle…rustle…
Awaking the world
Lifting, lifting, the matter is weightless
And only remnants of yesterday’s tears linger in sliver clouds…
Rustle…rustle…rustle…
This is morning.
And it will stay bright, bright and golden
Until once again
God blinks.

I'm doing alright; I'm still sick but besides that I don't really have anything to complain about.

Oh, I love that poem of yours! Well, actually I love all your poetry... but you get the idea. xP

One of your strongest suits is defiantly imagery. You can blend the images together so well to create the mood, and with this poem in particular I can just close my eyes and see the poem in my mind. >< (<-- poetry junkie)

Bless those who cry upon stone
Poem Title: Bless those who cry upon stone
Word Count: Don't know~
Theme: Being alone
Warning: Sadness ;(
Dedicated to: Someone I wish would tell me I matter D:

Bless those who cry upon stone
Who wish upon souls
Searching for home

Bless those who have lost their heart
Who cannot warm
Their every part

Bless those who weep at noon
For their loved ones
To come home soon

Bless those who have loved ones gone
And they can't forget
A single wrong

Bless those who can only keep
Who suffer through life
Their secrets too deep

Bless those who cry upon stone
Who wish upon souls
Searching for home.

Okay, I lied. ;P
But I like this one. I think I'm almost done, but it doesn't sound quite right yet. ^___^;

Let Go
Poem Title:Let Go
Word Count: 200-ish
Theme: Pain
Warning: None
Dedicated to: ..hm.

Weakened porcelain strings attached to every ounce of pain I grasp
They’re so difficult to hold up, so breakable, so weak
And yet, I can’t stop gripping onto those strings
As if I would fall apart at the drop of a single ceramic thread

Let go, she whispered, you have to let go
I can’t, tears falling again, and they won’t stop
My heart is pouring out like a waterfall of endless emotion
It’s crazy and it’s so much energy to with stain, I’m trembling

And yet I won’t drop a single thread
Not yet, I can’t, not now, no please, not now, not now
I just don’t want him to hate me, no, he can’t
Not yet, not yet, I can’t stop crying now

She’s calling now, not now, not now,
I tell her to stop, so frantically, so pathetically
Then I hear him, she’s brought him to see my shattered mess
She’s brought him so he can see my splintered heart

He whispers too, I strain to hear, holding on and falling too
No more tears, he whispers, you don't need it
I don’t, not now, not now, I don’t need it
Dropping those porcelain threads
I let go.
