Snow Days

Supah Sizz!

One thing I really miss from my childhood are snow days ~ those exciting days where you got up early to see if your school district's name would scroll across the bottom of the screen while the newscasters talked about how terrible traffic was, or how much snow you got. Once you heard the news, you'd head to your room, throw on as many layers as possible and charge out the door, hats and gloves still keeping your extremities warm. After an hour or two of sledding, snowangels and snowball fights, you'd head back inside to strip off soaked clothing, drink hot chocolate and rewarm yourself.

Ah, those were the days! I feel nostalgic just thinking about it, so I decided to recapture that feeling in my hangout thread for this event. :D

Is open? Boo for snow, but yay for snow days :D

Hiya! I wish I could have had snow days. We never get snow unless it's up in the mountains. Poo I say! ;(

My Christmas looks quite dull this year since most of my friends are not around.

I remember rolling up snowballs when my dad took me up to the mountains a few years back. It was pretty fun, but then some kids came around and kicked it a bit. :(

Ahh, snow days. I was homeschooled, but all the kids in my neighborhood went to public school, so snowdays were still extra fun for me since then I had other kids to play with all day. My two guy friends always had these really short hair cuts, and so whenever we'd be having snowball fights I'd always sneak up on them, then yank their hood off and cram a snowball on their nearly bare head. :lol: I was so cruel... :lol:

TEEHEE. /throws a snowball at sizzla...a snowball filled with FISH!

Supah Sizz, help! Take me away from this soggy place! It's been raining here for nearly 2 weeks, non-stop... please take me somewhere with pretty pretty snow! :drool:

I've only seen snow once, when I was just a kid and my family went to Pennsylvania. This Cali kid was positively dazzled!
I don't like rain much at all, tho, especially when it's coming down at a near constant rate. :cry:

*flies you out to KC so you can see some Christmas Eve snow* They've forecasted about an inch, but 100% probability! :D I like those odds, especially because there's not supposed to be a LOT of snow. Last Christmas, it snowed like 8" and was impossible to get around in. It sucked.
