Day 2:

Yan picked out a T-shirt in my drawer for him to wear. It has a cute dinosaur on it.

Day 2:

Yan and I took the elevated train into the city. Yan really liked the view from the train station.

Yan had never seen the elevated train before, he was so excited to see it come into the station.

Day 2:

Yan and I were playing miniature war games. Yan was playing with the killakanon and hiding behind the ruin tower.He thought the ork piece looked like a fun toy, even with all the spiky bits. Don't hurt yourself Yan.

Day 2:

Yan found a plane to ride. It's a storm raven, but it fits Yan perfectly.

Day 2:

we finish the game store by building my new dragon model. Yan looked at me the entire time, trying to figure out how the pieces of plastic worked out together.

Day 2:

once we finished the game store we went to the outdoor mall in Oak park. I carried Yan since he doesn't like walking.

Day 2:

We took the train back to the grocery store from outside. This train was stopped for longer so Yan could get a good look at the ends. The train driver was nice enough to wait for us to get on before leaving.

Day 2:

we got the train car all to ourselves so Yan had a chance to sit in his own seat and play on the train.

Day 2:

Yan and I went grocery shopping for a bit on the way back home. Yan liked the big slab of meat I bought. He rode in the cart while i filled it with food.

Day 2:

We finished buying food, just to find the weather got the better of us. It was down pouring , so Yan kept me company, while we attempted to wait out the rain.

Day 2:

Once we got home, we had cereal for snack till we get hungry for dinner. The cereal was a nice bowl of cherrios great for a growing Yan.

Day 2:

We spent dinner, and afterward watching new anime that came out today. Yan especially liked Sacred Seven.

yan played with the chain-mail I am making for the game store owner. He tried to put the chain-mail on, but it ended up being way to big.

Day 3 overview:

wake up, and then a nap
food, painting and then play with LEGOs

Day 3:

Yan and I woke up and got dressed. Yan wanted to wear his flowery pants. It is humid outside but not super hot yet.

Day 3:

After a bit, Yan and I decided to take a nap. Yan found my mini Ollie to snuggle up with. Ollie looks like he is almost eating Yan, but he is just wanting a hug

Day 3:

We had ramen for lunch. Finally added some green onions we bought yesterday. It was very tasty.

Day 3:

Yan and I did some painting of some miniatures I got. We painted the eggs and crystals . Hopefully I'll finish them today.

Day 3:

Yan and I built my new set, the LEGO crane crawler. Yan liked throwing legos on the floor while I was trying to build.

Yan played with the LEGO crane once it was mostly finished, he pushed the treads everywhere, and moved the chain up and down. Yan was so heavy, he almost made the crane tip over when he was on it.

Day 3:

Yan and I were going to go outside, but all we had today was rain, so no going out. Yan and I were a bit sad, but decided to spend the rest of the day in the house.

Day 3:

Yan and I had ice cream for snack, it was very tasty, it wasn't as good as when we wanted to go to giradelli's but we were satisfied.

Day 3:

Afterward Yan and I finished painting the dragon eggs. Better picture of just the piece in the link, in case you want to see it. Yan liked the dragon eggs so much, he wanted to eat them for dinner.

Day 3:

I made yan and myself dinner. It was breakfast burritos. Yan really liked it, especially since he wanted eggs after painting the dragon eggs earlier.

Day 4 over view:

Yan and I went sight seeing through Chicago. (cause it was a very pleasant 75 degrees with a nice cool breeze). Yan had lots of fun looking at all the cool pieces of architecture and shops (we went shopping too) along Magnificent mile). We had tasty ice cream to make up for not being able to get it yesterday.

Day 4:

Yan was in a doggie mood today. So he picked out a doggie T-shirt for himself while I got ready.

Day 4:

Yan and I went sight seeing in the city of Chicago. First stop was the millennium bean in millennium park,. Yan really liked how reflective and shiny it was.

Day 4:

Yan and I went north a bit, and saw the marina towers (the honeycomb buildings) and the trump tower (far right). Yan particularly liked the Marina towers cause it looked like tasty corn.
