After long awaiting, i've finally been given the chance to prove myself worthy of being able to adopt a sweet little Yan baby.

Adventure Journal Entry 1:

Picked up baby yan today and we stopped to pick up some groceries on the way. Yan was very happy to help and sat happily in the cart. I had to turn down his many requests of foods, but secretly got him some cheesecake for later on. And as a treat, we got some ice cream on the way home.

Adventure Journal Entry 2:

Yan and I started off the day with some good ol' drawing. I thought it would be a good way for him to express himself. You wouldn't guess what he decided to draw. And when I was getting lunch ready, that little wrascal got into the cake as soon as my back turned!

Adventure Journal Entry 3:

Today's adventure led us to visiting a few of the animals! Yan wasn't interested in the reptiles, but he especially loved our big yellow lab. She was a little worried about hurting a baby, though, and tried her best not to move. I also introduced him to our cat, whom seemed more interested in running off to chase bugs, and also to my rat, which he thought he should be able to ride. Then he was simply fascinated by our parrot, having him talk over and over.

Adventure Journal Entry 4:

Today yan asked me if he could spin in our spinny chair. Worried that he might spin too fast and hurt himself, I had to decline. However, I found that letting him swing back to forth in my swingasan chair was quite safe, and he had much fun!

Adventure Journal Entry 5:

Adventure 5 ended up with us outside! Yan spotted a baby praying mantis, and helped me to put it where it'd be safely out of reach of the cat. He also was very helpful when it came to refilling our bird feeders. He played a little in the tree and with a deer friend, but upon noticing the dogs pool, he immediately wished to play in it. Due to the heat, I figured that that was just exactly what would be best for little yan.

Adventure Journal Entry 6:

Playdate in the house! So many adventures with Yan's little friends (once I let him out of the walker). He played knight, sporting his helmet and javalin (just dont let him know I helped him a little in keeping it held up ;P, and played games with his friends. Not sure what they were up to, but they seemed to be having fun. Exahusted from such a busy day, he decided to curl up and take a nap.

Adventure Journal Entry 7:

Nap time over, yan decided to "be cool" with sunglasses and a nice drink while lounging in my swingasan. I gave him some nice shorts, and he ran around the yard in them for awhile. After he'd calmed down, I let him have a little bit of cheesecake. But when I turned around to clean up the mess, he'd gotten into my mangas and made himself a fort out of them! Such a smart boy.

Adventure Journal Entry 8:

I was letting yan adventure around the house while I sat in the living room. He was doing well enough and I kept an eye on him. But he disappeared into a room and I could hear drawers. Going in to check on him, I found panties scattered on the ground and him crawling into a drawer. I let him know that those clothes weren't meant for a little yan like him, and found a t-shirt he'd like. Sadly it wasn't a suitable size for him, though.

Adventure Journal Entry 9:

HIDE AND GO SEEK! Ninja Style! ;D It was yan's idea, and I tell you what, that ninja yan is a hard guy to find. He hid all over the place and I usually had to call him out just to find him! The last spot I found him, he'd took off his ninja outfit somewhere and snuggled up with the cat for a well deserved nap. Now to figure out where that outfit got off to.

Adventure Journal Entry 10:

Yan wanted to help me fix some dinner. It was a quick fix, just some time in the microwave, but afterwards I showed him how you add extra cheese on top and cover it in order to get it to melt nicely. He was intrigued and I had to stop him from adding too much cheese. And afterwards I taught yan how to fight in soul-calliber 3!

The adventures for this week have come to an end, and I couldn't have asked to have had more fun with yan. I'm hoping that our fun times together may have proven me a worthy parent of a precious young yan, and look forward to the chance of getting to keep him for real
