Alright artists, here's the deal. We are going to hold a little art auction to help fund the User Event. Basically, each of us will auction off a couple of "custom art" spots. You'll provide a couple of examples of your art styles and people will have a chance to bid on a spot. You will then have a couple of weeks to get that art to them.

Berenice's Hair has some silver sparkles, and Ice Queen Protectress has some that are really pretty silvery sparkles. Squishy Space Protector has silver stars, and Book of Daydreams has kind of swishy silver sparkles. I have all of those items if there's something you want to borrow and ghost!

Um... blah, I haven't been keeping up with my list. [shame] I know at least steel and someone else were interested in co-hosting that-- we were probably going to do 3 contests like a normal event?

Speaking of avatar contests, there's going to be one for dressing the event mule as soon as I get my hands on the event mule. This post and the one after it are a quick mockup of how that thread's going to look-- do people have opinions or ideas on changing it? I know I also need to add an entry form and of course reserve a post or two to put the entries on and whatnot. I was planning on sourcing the prizes from our donations, unless someone objects.

I tentatively said I would do it, but I would tooootally give that to you or just cohost. Because I'm also doing a word games thread.

I'm fine with cohosting an avatar contest. I was thinking about making fancy frames for all the winning avis, I have an example I can show when I get home.

That sounds pretty cool Clarius. I think it may have been Aya that wanted to host, I have no idea.

I am the sparkle queen! I know where all the sparkles come from! Blue flashes and blue starry sky are from Classic Movie Night, and blue sparkles are from Berenice's hair. Holiday head sparkles is from Holiday Wreath, and Frozen Belly Jewel is from Frozen Kingdom. Big Ass Teal Feather Headband is from the Power of Voodoo...

I'm not sure where the Forehead Jewels are from, and I can't tell from the picture which item that might be so I don't know what to search for to check.

I answered all of those, and I bolded everything I have. Although I am not willing to sell them (hoarder) I am willing to let you borrow them for your avi (once for now, and once for later, just in case your change your avi in the future, I actually get on pretty often, especially if I know you'll want to remake the avi before the event starts as well)

I also have Harpy. Same with the mint jewel from the jeweled bows.

Yay! More people participating! :D

And this is my examples of the frames I was talking about. I think I'll make them the actual size of the whole avatar in the future, and I might do a ribbon instead of ugly text next time as well.
