Age of Apocalypse
Part 3

The mutants tackled the two remaining bond humans and made sure they couldn't also kill themselves.
"Logan." The one with the visor called out. "Find anymore?"
Another mutant, this one was shorter than the others and was smoking a cig, "...No." He sniffed, standing just before the clearing.
"What is it?" Emma asked, having given up on reading their minds for now.
"There's another scent, female... But it stops here at the bushes."
"Must have been because of those smoke like bombs this one threw." Scott stated, kicking his foot into Dick's back.
"So you brought a little she savage with you? Where'd she run off to hm?" Emma asked, tilting Dick's head up.
Dick didn't respond and his mind was rambling nonsense. She frowned, "Not what I wanted to hear. Take them away. I'll call the girls in... We'll have you two talking before sun down tomorrow."
"Search the area. She couldn't have gotten far." Scott ordered as the others dragged the two humans off.
For the longest time, Ciara didn't move. Her mind blanked, frozen in horror. The worst had happened. They had been discovered and most of them killed. It wasn't till they grabbed Robin by the leg and started dragging him off that she retreated into the vent and back into the mutant base.
She spend hours calming herself down. Till she finally got the courage to go and try and rescue her friends. It was very late when she dropped down into the empty control room. She stared for several mins, trying to remember all her father had taught her about computers.
She reached forward and tapped a button. Nothing... She tapped a few more. The screens lit up and a woman's voice sounded, 'Unknown personal. Scanning. Scanning.'
Ciara froze as a green light wrapped around her.

He hummed away to the music, Johann Sebastian Bach's
Double Violin Concerto in D minor (2nd movement, Largo Ma Non Tanto) to be exact. He lifted his scalpel filled hand and waved it a few times before cutting back into the brain of his latest experiment. A cut here, a poke there....
He looked up as a rather loud male computer voice rang out, "Match found. 63% match found." He put down the scalpel and snapped his gloves off. He walked up to the big computer and pulled his goggles back, "63%?" He mumbled to himself. Quickly, he typed away. The match was coming from the new lab/ base Scott was building down south.

"Scan complete...Error- error- er- restarting program. Closest match found. Access granted." The computer stated, several windows opening up.
Ciara sighed, sweating bullets. "That was weird... ok... layout... layout... cameras..." She typed away, using her two index fingers clearly never really used a real computer before. "Should be... in this folder?... no. Ah here we go."
The camera behind Ciara turned itself on.
Beast looked on, "...It can't be..."
Ciara turned toward the camera and having noticed it, threw a boomerang at it. The camera cut in and out but stayed online just long enough to watched Ciara jump back up into the vents.
Beast pushed a button on the console, "Mrs. Potts, get the jet ready. I'm heading to the new lab..." He stated, staring at the frozen image of Ciara.
