Jason eventually came, twirling his katana, wearing a Strange Set of dud's (his costume). He approached midas, and grinned. "Missed me, honey?" he said. He kept twirling his katana "Whenver your ready, just let me know. Sorry I'm a bit late though. Watch is broken "He said, pointing to his watch, which was missing both hands.

Quietly and ever so carefully, the thin wire and hook guided by slender hands deftly picked open the simple lock on the hotel door. As the tumblers clicked, the tall man crouched before it froze, sharp ears listening for movement within as his dark eyes once again checked the hall around him. Once he was a sure the area was clear and he had not woken the slumbering man within, a thin, cheshire smile spread across his lips and he stood slowly and silently turned the knob, slowly pushing the door open and slipping inside.

His smile grew as he saw the pale-haired man laying prone on the bed, fully clothed and surely armed. With silent, almost feline movements, Heiro moved about the room, keeping a wary eye on the sleeping mutant as he carefully shifted a few items, making it look like he was once more searching for something. It was part of their game, the half-blood teasing the younger man with subtle things and sudden appearances whenever the two were in the same area. This, however, catching the cautious mutant asleep and completely unaware was a rare treat. The possibilities of what the dhampir could do were endless, his heart beating faster and smile growing with anticipation. However, he couldn't let the mortal see this eagerness, it wasn't the mask he wore with this one.

Moments later, after gently nudging the bag on the floor and opening it slightly, he seated himself comfortably on the windowsill near the bed. As he pulled out a cigarette and his old brass lighter, he could feel the tension building in the air already. Stilling the smile the curled his lips and donning a cool, almost bored expression he fell into a relaxed, calm and utterly confident pose. He then held his breath for another heartbeat and flicked open his lighter, the metallic 'chink' sharp and echoing as it cut through the silent room.

----------------------

Samael finished putting things away, a smile finding it's way to his lips for what must have been the hundredth time. For as much as he felt guilty for skipping out on work, he enjoyed the day with Elizabeth. The young mutant seemed much better off, a bright and curious girl replacing the tired, cautious and miraculously not ill creature he had found. It was a wonderful turn around, but he was still worried, the smile fading from his face. It would be naive to think she could stay for more than a few days. Sure, he could easily support her, but the legalities and social impact of the situation would be hard to maneuver through and even all of that seemed insignificant to the mystery of the girl. He didn't even know where she came from, her full name or if she had even been truthful at all with him.

Sighing, he leaned on the counter and looked over to the living area, where she had passed out on the couch. "What am I going to do with you?" He muttered quietly under his breath before shaking his head and pushing off from the tiled counter. "Beth." He said softly as he rounded the half-wall and walked to the couch. "Come on, let's get you to bed."

----------------------

The fading light of the sun had made the shadows grow long, their reach extending to find Aingeal no matter how many lights he turned on in his apartment. Huddled on the floor near his bed, one of the cats hissed and a violent shudder ran over his body. He clutched his head and muttered over and over in Greek, praying tonight he would be spared, but he knew it was no good. The umbra was strong again, the darkening world opened up to it's power once more and it was hungry. Cringing and biting back a sob as the sounds that pervaded the darkness filled his ears, he gave up and fell still. As he felt the power of the Umbra wash over him, he closed his eyes, a single hot tear escaping him before he forced himself to get up and begin preparing himself for the night's activities.

Hearing Sammael's voice, Beth's eyes opened slowly. On autopilot, she rolled into a sitting position while she rubbed at her eyes and yawned. She nodded to his suggestion of bed slowly before standing up. Even in her half-asleep state of mind, she was still able to remember something from earlier. "Hey, Sammael? What if that lady from before comes back?" she mumbled as she walked after him to the bedroom. "She could come back later and attack, right?"

She had already decided to tell him that she had copied his power and that that was her ability, but she was too tired to really think about that. Still, it wasn't like she was keeping her abilities a secret either. It was kind of obvious that the door opened before she ever put her hand to the knob. If she had been thinking straight, she would have waited longer or used it as a conversation starter. What was done was done though, and she found herself collapsing into the bed again, sleep taking her almost immediately. When she woke up, she would be sure to tell him. She didn't want him to be mad, but it would be better if he was earlier rather than later.

"Whatever," Midas said before standing up. "Here's the game plan. I'll go and create a distraction while you sneak in and download the employee files onto this flash drive. Then make for the vault or whatever to make it look like a robbery. When you're done, shoot this flare so I know. And don't screw this up." While he spoke, he handed over everything that Jason would need for the job: an orange flash drive, a password decoder, and the flare.

Stretching, he allowed the gold to take over his body, every last molecule becoming riddled with gold. Then he started for the entrance at a nice, even pace. The guards called out for him to turn around of course, but he ignored them. He knew that the wouldn't have gotten that warning if he had been more visible. They would have shot a mutant on sight. Still, the adrenaline coursing through his body made him feel alive, and, before long, he was jogging into the compound.

The gate they had set up was pitifully easy to break down with his enhanced strength. By then, though, the guns were going off all over the place. That didn't deter him though, as he went from guard to guard, knocking them out with a few blows. They wouldn't be so easy to defeat for long though. Their panic made them irrational, but it would pass as training took over.

Looking towards the cloudy sky with her golden eyes, Gabby frowned. The moon wasn't out that night, a rather unfortunate circumstance. It made her quite a bit more powerful when it was out. Oh well. She probably wouldn't need the extra strength anyway. While she had been investigating the city to find a rival vampire, she had chanced upon the scent of a dhampir, the second time she had ever smelled that unique scent. If he was on the opposing side, it could be problematic, so it was best that she keep tabs on him.

Fortunately, the sun had just gone down a half hour before, so she had plenty of time to track her target. Therefore, she set off after him, following his scent as far a she could. It was actually rather sloppily hid, so he either didn't know that other vampires could follow him, or he just didn't care. Of course, it was probably the latter considering all of the scents in the city tended to wash his out. It wasn't so much her sense of smell as a sixth sense that told her what kind of creatures had been around and where they had gone. Still, it was hard to distinguish any one scent out of hundreds, if not thousands. It was looking to be a long night.

((It is only an electronics company >.>... I doubt the security would be too terribly tight))

Adrie had just started for the files when she heard the guards, the fact they even threatened to shoot showed a serious threat. Most human threats they just tazed.... a mutant? She turned and ran back to the office, informing Brenna. Brenna stood, though she stilll felt a little weak from the poison. She really did care about her employees, more then she cared for the few experimental electronic designs in the safe and blueprints there. They could be replaced in a matter of days as back up copies were stored elsewhere in individual safes, human lives could not. Instantly she was in her costume and running down the hall, even as she tried to figure things out. Were competitors hiring mutants now? It made no sense... Only other electronics companies would be interested in anything that could be stolen here, they didn't make weapons....

"Seems you need a little help." She said quietly to the guards as she arrived, making sure to come from a window onto a nearby building then using a large metal bird to land so it looked like she could have come from anywhere nearby. The bird then launched itself at the man as she pulled out her witch-silver staff. She still had not perfected her ability to create witch-silver so instead of that the bird was merely iron and made from a chair inside, the easiest metal to create or control. It wouldn't really harm him much, judging by the way but its size would likely allow it to knock him off balance and more importantly give the guards cover.

"run" She said simply, the guards obeying quickly. They had been trained to run if a hero mutant showed up, electronics weren't worth dying for Ms. Kamon had always said. Of course they had no idea this hero WAS Brenna as she disguised her voice slightly and they were to panicked anyway. She held her staff in front of her, waiting. Gold... He was covered in Gold?! She couldn't transform gold... it being on equal magic property with Witch-silver, the highest of magical metals. The stones that had invaded her body had a gold like property in it, perhaps that was why they would not let her transform gold. If she could then she could escape them and they would cease to exist just like the others she had transformed back in the accident on her fathers death. The magic in them would not allow such a thing, it had chosen her as it's vessel and so she would be... even if the only way to keep her was to give her an allergy to gold.

((the stones have a gold center surrounded by witch-silver, surrounded by a semi-transparent black stone that can glow red. xD.))

The pale haired man stirred in his sleep as his uninvited guest shifted things in the carpeted room. One hand clenched tight in response to his dreams before relaxing again. Peace in sleep slipped away soon enough as a single sound stripped away Uriel's dreams.

Grey eyes snapped open without a hint of grogginess in their depths. Without thought the mutant shifted his wrists so he felt the comforting weight of a dagger in each hand. In one fluid movement Uriel was crouching warily by his bedside, eyeing Heiro with annoyance. Of course, no one else would have purposefully woken him when they could have escaped easily.

"Come to foil my plans again?" Uriel sat upon the bed, resting a dagger wielding hand upon his thigh, and flipping his other knife in the air with the other. He knew that the other man was probably there to taunt him once more, but that still didn't ease his suspicious mind. Someone might have pegged him as a target, and paid a hefty sum to see him eliminated.

Karlin smiled to herself as she donned her night time persona. She did so love her thigh high boots and corset, both an eye catching cherry red. With a shake of her head, the young woman settled her hair then slipped on her black mask. It was time to slip out of her second floor apartment, an easy enough task once the window was open.

Tempermental was her name in this guise, and jumping to a very near roof wasn't such a hard task at all. Working her way trough the neighborhood using this high way, the orange haired woman kept her eyes open for trouble. It was after all what she was looking for, and certainly easier to find in the slums of the city she neared.

Though the Envious Young man Wanted to join in, and take a few life's, Jason held back and teleported inside the main building. He Quickly ran into a security room, by the looks of it, and examined the Security Camara's. He then Saw a Security Camara too what looked Like a Server Room. He headed that way, killing Anybody, Civllians or not, that saw him. He opened the room, and sat down in front of a Server.

Contemplating on what too do, he saw a Techniqiuen, and with alittle 'Persuasion' he got him to lift the password. He put the Flash Drive in, and Started to Download the Employee Manifest.
