I went and saw Aquaman yesterday.

Aquaman is on my list of movies to see - eventually. We don't really have the money to splurge on going to see movies in theaters - it's just so expensive!

We live paycheck to paycheck. Even matinees aren’t affordable for us with our budget.
And that’s okay.
We’ll just wait. :)

I wish I had some extra money to send you to the movies. It's amazing on the big screen.

I don't handle noise very well so I don't actually like going to the theater anyway.

Watching at home gives me the ability to have control over the volume and it usually works better with our schedule. :)

True but some movies loose something on the small screen. Especially action movies.

But you don't understand - too much sound literally gives me anxiety.
So for my mental health -- I need to avoid theaters.
So the fact we don't have the money in our budget to go is fine with me.
Plus any spare money we do get usually gets spent on doing something fun with the kids.
