I would appreciate a "Great job, Ava!" Or even "That's god, Ava."

I laugh way harder at my own jokes than anyone else does.

It's not that I think I am that funny... Well, I kind of do, I guess.

Sometimes I don't think something I said is funny until someone else says it is.

I find things funny that most people don't think is funny at all.

I do that, too. It's always IRL where that happens, and everyone's like, "Chill, it wasn't that funny."

I laugh mostly at my mom, who has a hard time pronouncing words...
She gets really pissed off at me, and both my parents are always like, "Ava, that wasn't funny."

My momma doesn't care enough about precision in her speech to say things correctly. As someone who cares A WHOLE LOT about precision in everything, that annoys me. Knowing she doesn't care annoys me more.

My mom tries to pronounce things right, but she always fails... even the simplest words are hard for her to remember how to pronounce.

But it's always funny to hear her say something wrong!

My momma's terrible with names, too. I'm good with names, but I don't have confidence in being right when I remember a name, so I pretend I forgot.

Yeah, it sucks when people automatically assume you don't know what they are talking about...

Or that you're dumber than a sack of bricks and have to be told how to turn a faucet on. Or assume that you don't know how to fucking count.

Dear gods yes. It's not everyone, but there's some people who work there (including a couple managers) who seem to be under the impression that everyone around them has nothing in their head but air. At least I try to give someone the benefit of the doubt before I decide they're an idiot (or not). Other coworkers? Nope, nuh-uh.
