On the corner of Everent Road and Lemalle Avenue stands a 4-story brick building, beautiful ivy covering one side of the old home. Flowers of every kind dot the grassy ground, both in the front yard and back. An iron fence surrounds the entire building. They say that once you pass through the front gates, you will enter a world where magic and reality collide...

Overview of the House
*There are six rooms in the house, two on each floor, except the first floor. Each room can hold two people. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living room have signs on the doorways. All other doors are doors to the magical realm. These doors always change paths. One day a door can lead to the realm of faires, the next day it can lead to the realm of demons. So, be careful.

*You can choose to be human or be a magical creature. If you are a human, then you must first enter through the gates. If you are a magical creature, then you can choose to either enter from the gates or from a door itself.

*You don't have to be a member of the Boarding House. You can just be a visitor from the Human Realm or the Magical Realm.

*The gardens also contain openings to the magical realm. You just have to find out where they are.

Personality: Open-minded, motherly, and generous, Kotone will always be the first to help someone in need. Whether its a homeless person or wounded werewolf, she doesn't hesitate to help. Although she is open-minded about the magical realm, that doesn't mean she isn't afraid of it. She gets scared easily and is a bit slow. But her cheerfulness can brighten up even the darkest of creatures.
Magical Power(s): Telekinesis
Bio: A normal girl with a normal life until she dropped out of her first year in college. She found it boring and would never benefit her in her real life. But, when her parents discovered this, they kicked out her out of their home and disowned her completely. Lost and with no family or friends, Kotone found the boarding house. Throwing every last bit of her money, she got to work fixing it up. As she fixed the building up, she discovered the secret it contained. Fearing nothing but living out in the streets again, she continued her quest to fix up the old building till it looked brand new. Now, she is the head of the household and waiting for new, open-minded roommates needing a home, whether they were human or not.

Species: Alurrion Shape Shifter Demon
Appearance: She basically walks in two forms, one human, the other her 'true' form.
Human: A tall, thin girl with deep purple died hair. Her eyes are of equal color, radiating with the various spectrums of deep blue and purples. Her makeup consists of purple eye shadow, black eye liner, and black lipstick. Her hair is shortly cropped, longer near her chin and cutting upward near the back of her head (think Tak from Invader Zim.). She mostly wears a skin tight, black, long, leather shirt that reaches her thinghs, a long strip falling in front of her crotch and in between her legs, almost blending in with her tight black jeans and black army boots. Her nails are constantly painter either black or purple.
'True': Large, thin, and hulking, she stands well above any normal human. Her ribs and spine are noticable, and the the skin on her face is pulled taught over her skull, revealing large, serrated teeth. Five horns sprout from the back of her sloped skull, each a deep black. Her skin is a light shade of mottled purple and her large, nobbly hands are tipped in five black claws. Her spine is clearly seen through the lean muscle and skin of her body, most of her entire skeletal form following suit. Except for around her belly. That is plump and round, giving her an almost pregant room. But, of course, it only houses the approximate mile of intestine she uses to injest her prey. Her legs are like those of dinosaurs, though thinner and a lot more powerful.
Personality: Calm, cool, and collected, she always examines a situation before running in. Of course, she does have her mean streak. She manages to be a comeplet bitch to almost everyone in the house, especially the pretty ones. She views her 'true' form to be hideous and disgusting and almost never shows it, even when the situation calls.
Magical Power(s): Can shift between her human and 'true' form, sometimes changing bits of her body to accomodate a need if one ever arises.
Bio: Born and raised on the Alurrion, demonic plane, she has learned from the elders and wisemen that living things are ugly creatures, even them. She was taught that everything was hideous and rotten and those who believed that their beauty was everything should be punished. She just recently enrolled in the house and has already caused havoc and mayhem among the pretty, popular girls.

Personality: Rather hard to deal with, but can be a really cool guy if he wants to. Fairly agressive, but also calculating.

Power: His eyes record everything he sees, and his body can change it's composition, together they make it so that he can copy any physical property or fighting style, the only thing he cant copy is magical abilities. (this is why his species is called chimera demon, they can be a little bit of everything, the only unchanging physical trait is the horns.)

Bio: He was acidentally discovered in a tomb in egypt by a robber, he was so weak at that point that he had to make a contract with the human, his magical power for the kid's life force, the kid is long dead now and virgil has been wandering, trying to regain his lost memories. His magical reserves are significantly drained and he's looking for a haven where he can rest for a while...

Appearance: As his own human shape, Keito has short black hair, big dark eyes that seem to look through one, and is around 6'3 tall. An overall normal boy to one's eye, yet once demonic, his eyes are fiery red, big black eagle wings coming from both of his shoulderblades, horns sticking out from his forehead, his body is left unaffected by any sort of bullit and he could take over any harmless soul in his surrounding.
Personality: Keito's a very laid-back guy, who never seems to worry about anything. He rarely smiles, as he always seems to wear a pokerface.
Magical Power(s): The ability to change between human and demon, taking over souls (by becoming a soul himself and entering the body), and he has a sharp sense of distrust and other negative feelings.
Bio: When he was younger, he was being raised by his grandfather. His mother was never around since she had to work two jobs to pay for everything, his father he never even met. As he one day got into a rage, he nearly killed three neighbouring families, as he has been a fugitive ever since.

Bio: Lucien was born in the darkness, being of the lowest of demons he is shy and timid, preferring to remain unnoticed in his activities. When the lights turn out, he is usually about, sneaking through the shroud of night, to get himself a late-nite bite.

Age: 15 by human reckoning, still only a child by fairy reckoning
Species: Fairy
Appearance: Sun kissed skin and long, sweeping lavender hair. Has wide, innocent lavender eyes and has simple girly tastes when it comes to clothes. Tends to prefer skirts and dresses. Also has a semi translucent pair of shimmery, lavender (have I used that color enough yet? lol) butterfly wings on her back, which fold downward(like a wasp's wings) when not in use.
Personality: Curious and cheerful, Lav loves to learn new things and make friends. She's very sweet and innocent, which may also come of as naivete. Her whole world seems to revolve around flowers and flower arranging and tends to offer them as tokens of friendship and peace offerings.
Magical Power(s): Can change size at will, can shrink to her tiny flower fairy size to hide herself, or walk about at human size. She also has the ability to help flowers grow and revive dead plants. On a more offensive side, she can also use plants to attack for her or to protect her, but she doesn't do this often as she hates violence and may only go as far as using vines to hold someone in place while she flies off. This is also because she still hasn't mastered her abilities and for fearing of hurting someone, prefers not to use them.
Bio: Lavender had always been a curious child. From the moment she was born on the flower which shares her name, she was quick to get up and flutter about. Though of course being just born that didn't go so well ^^. As she aged, she traveled further and further from her tiny home, and soon learned about a realm outside her own. Intrigued, and with blessings from her parents and Flower Queen, she set off to enter this new realm and start her new life on the road to "enlightenment".

Species: Human/Half-Angel
Appearance: A short and skinny, pale skinned girl, Terry has pleasant light blue eyes and wavy medium length dark dark blood red hair which she usually wears in a loose ponytail. Although she would never admit it herself, Terry is a very, very beautiful young woman even in Angel standards. Whenever she's out in public for some odd reason that she can't seem to figure out, guys are always asking her out, or pointing at her and whistling. She has a petite nose, inherited from her human mother, and delicate fingers from her father. She can also sprout gorgeous pure white wings from her back. (Her Angel side is from her dad) Usually she's too timid and self conscious to even show her wings to anybody (Although they are extremely beautiful) and most people she knows and love have no idea that her dad's an Angel.
Personality: Cheery and simple minded, Terry (which she is known as by nearly everyone) always seems to have a smile on her face. Rarely one to frown, she loves being around people in pain since she's a natural healing source.
Magical Power(s): Natural insight of people she meets. It's almost like reading their history; past, present, and occasionally their future if they have one. Her other small abilities include healing, flying (Though that's not a MAGIC power since she has wings!), and her "angel" power:ability to bring any drawing she creates to life. She only uses her powers if need be, never for enjoyment or self expense.
Bio: Being the offspring of a Human and an Angel, Theresa was immediately cut off from the normal mortal world and the world her father was born in from the moment she awoke in her mother's arms. She will be allowed entrance into Heaven or Hell and will be banished to Earth for all eternity. Or at least that's what other Half-Angels tell her. To most Angels and most Humans who are aware of the otherworldly, Theresa is just a simple hybrid, and experiment. So her parents broke off any holds of society and gave birth to Theresa in an enclosed environment, far from any human, or non-human eye, could see. There she grew up, playing in the surrounding forest with pixies and animals, practicing flight with her wings, testing magic, normal kid stuff. By the time she was 12 years old, her Father finally granted her one ability as an Angel, or in her case, Half-Angel. And after that, her father had to go. She never saw him again and lived quietly with her mother until she decided to leave the comfort and safety of her forest home, went to a normal human high school for a short while, gave up and now she's searching for a place to live, protected from the harsh world of "outside" life.

Personality: Thomas has multiple personalities. Usually he is very submissive acting but rather sarcastic, getting violent when stressed. His first personality is crude and abusive while is second personality is kind and nurturing, but rather flirty. (Micah and Lucas) He likes skinny jeans a lot.
Magical Power(s): Enhances strength and agility, has an affinity to nature
Bio: Thomas grew up in the slums of London. He was in an institute for 4 years. He can now communicate freely with his other personalities and the subsisized voices that linger in his mind. He was released because he got them to agree to let him act normal long enough for them to give him a clear bill of health. Micah continues to abuse him severly though.

Kotone sat at the kitchen table, flipping through a cookbook with one hand while she waved her other hand carelessly. Pots, pans, and various grocery items zoomed around the kitchen, landing either inside an open cabniet or on the polished marble counter. The black-haired girl had just come back from the super market and bought the last things needed to make the boarding house well... home-y. Kotone stopped her page-flipping when she saw a recipe for a delicious batch of oatmeal cookies. 'This looks good.' She thought as she dodged a sack of flour flying into the pantry.

Jirna watched the door warily, eyeing it as she closed it neatly behind her, a small bag of belongings hanging from her shoulder. She turned and walked briskly down the hall, boots clacking against tehw ood floor loudly.

Kotone stopped her orchestra of flying objects, making a large pot, two plates, and a bunch of cans land on the floor softly. She listened closely and heard the sound of footsteps above her. She gasped. 'A tenant?!' She exclaimed in her head as she jumped up and ran out into the hallway. Sprinting up the stairs and onto the second floor, Kotone turned the first corner of the hallway and saw a tall, purple-haired girl. She halted immediately and almost tripped over herself. "Hi!" She exclaimed, noticing the bag over the girl's shoulder, "You're from the realms, right?"

J.J. blinked, taken off guard by the young woman suddenly in her face, greeting her. "Um, yes," she answered calmly, blinking at the woman. "I suppose I should ask you for a room."

Virgil was walking through a vast and unnamed desert when he spotted the strangest thing. A wooden door, completely undamaged by the desert sand and unattached to any kind of structure, was standing in the middle of the desert. Puzzled he decided to open it. Upon opening the door, he was greeted by a long hallway of similar doors. A long carpet with an ornate design ran the length of the hallway. The doors were all carved in a sort of Gothic sort of Victorian style. Immediately deciding he shouldn't be here Virgil turned to go back the way he came, only to find that the door now led to a guest room. Perplexed, Virgil tried the door opposite him. As he looked through he beheld another hallway, decorated the same... no on further inspection, he could see that it was the SAME hallway, he looked to his left and, five doors down on the opposite side of the hallway he could see himself looking through a door. The image gave him a headache, so he closed the door and decided to explore a bit.
(sorry, the thread hadn't gotten a reply for like two days so I haven't checked it until now.)

Kotone smiled and nodded. "Yes, I'm the head of the boarding house, Kotone." She stated happily, "Now, if you'll follow me." She dug through her pocket and pulled out a ring with several silver keys hanging from it. Kotone turned around and started down the hallway.

J.J. followed, only hesitating to look down the hall behind her. It sounded like someone had opened a door....she shook her. It was probably just the wind.

Virgil had concluded that he now hated this place with all his soul. For a while he had been randomly opening doors to see if he could get back where he came from. This proved disastrous because one door led to the lair of some... thing. Virgil didn't even want to know what it was, it looked like a mass of black tentacles... and eyes... and... teeth...
He was now apprehensive of opening any other doors, so he had been wandering around trying to find a window so he could see what world he was in. He changed the structure of his eyes so he could see through the walls and try to see if he was alone. He noticed a pair of girls walking towards him from another hallway, if they turned the corner they would see him. He quickly cast a simple spell that would make it seem as if the floor had fallen through if they came any closer. He didn't have much strength left so if they looked at it too carefully, they would see it was fake.

"Oh I'm so happy that you chose to stay here Miss..." Kotone stopped when she saw the gaping hole in the middle of the hallway. She gasped. "Crap! Did I miss this spot?!" She yelled to no one in particular.

J.J. blinked at teh hole, turning her head slightly to study it. She blinked before smiling, black painted lips culring up. She wouldn't say anything. Not yet.

Virgil felt the strength draining from his legs, he was definitely gonna feel the effects of that spell in the morning. He attempted to hide himself behind a large decorative vase but couldn't be sure he was fully hidden before everything went black.

Kotone was busy figuring out what to do with the hole when it suddenly dissapeared. She blinked. "What just happened?" She asked, but before she even waited for her answer, she saw a blue haired boy lying behind a vase. She gasped and rushed to his side. "Oh my, where did he come from?!"

J.J. chuckled lightly, turning her head to look toward the row of doors to her right. 'Probably through a door, like me," she said, her smile growing a little wider.

"Was he the one who made the hole?" Kotone asked as she tried to pull the stranger up.

"More than likely," J.J. said boredly, still smiling. "After all, I didn't make it and I highly you have the ability."

"No, I don't. So, can you help me pick him up?" Kotone asked as she kept failing miserably at pulling the stranger up.

"Why? He seems perfectly comfortable where he's at," J.J. stated, noting teh boy's soft, uncocnious snores. She shrugged and walked toward the two, lowering her bag with a heavy thump.

"He'd be more comfortable in a bed." Kotone mumbled as she finally got one of the stranger's arms over her neck. She struggled to stand up.

J.J. slung the boy's other arm of her shoulders, noting his three, sloping horns. She tilted her head, studying them. Now, this was unusual. She had never seen this before.

"What's wrong?" Kotone asked as they started down the hallway again, carrying the stranger on their shoulders.

J.J. shrugged, shifting the man's weight. "Nothing. Just his horns," she said coolly, voice a bit emotionless.
