I loved the Magician's Guild trilogy dearly. At the moment I am reading it again and are just as enthusiastic about it as I was the first time... Has anyone read the books and how do you like it?

I love the Magician's Guild trilogy. The ending depressed me a bit since I felt she should have ended up with him since I'm a romantic at heart, but whatever.

It was a good story throughout the whole thing, a bit slow at one or two points in the series, but all in all, I enjoyed them.

I was sad too, because I really hated him to die... he was such a cool and good-looking guy > < *fangirlmode*

I thought he was old until I read the third book because I wasn't that interested in him and was too pissed at him when we first met him to pay attention to his description. XD

AND THEN SHE KILLED HIM!!!!

I hated the restrictions placed on Dannyl! I felt so bad for him. Kinda how I feel for Sponge/Evered in Inda, which I think you might like but not positive. It was just a good book and people who have read it have liked the Magician's Trilogy.

I read the last book a week or so again and felt so bad at the end.

Certainly, it's by Sherwood Smith who isn't that well of a known author but I love her stuff. She's most well known for Crown Duel which was originally published as two books which you may like since it's also about a woman who is totally out of her place, first in war and then at court and I saw some similarities between her and Sonya but Inda I think you might like more, even if it is about a boy but like Sonya, he too gets pulled from the place he's lived forever and even though he's thrilled with the chance unlike Sonya, he gets thrown into the politics and problems surrounding the training school where he gets to. And then something happens and he's pinned, like Sonya, of doing something wrong and has to flee and becomes well... It's a long story but I just cannot wait until the next book comes out this summer!

Welcome, hope you like it. The only reason I thought about it is because there's a gay character in it and when I realized that he was gay, when he realized it, actually since it starts when they're young and ends when they're adults... At an irritating point but whatever...Next book! But anyway, when I realized that he was gay I was like 'someone get Dannyl for him!'

Ah... Fictitious people coming to life in my mind amuses me.

:shock: How did you guess?

Oh, I just remembered another one. I bought it at the same time as the Magician's Trilogy and they went well together. The Glasswright's series by Mindy L. Klasky.

Cool, you really have a lot of recommendations I never heard about. I just have to look what I will buy, because I have so many books unread here in my flat.... ^^;;

Yeah... That doesn't happen to me because once I buy a book, I cannot put it down. Even if I buy more than one at a time. I'll just read them straight, my real life be damned!

But yeah, I think that's all of my recomendations for the moment.
