Most of Anne Rice's books, like lasher, pandora, interview with the vampire.

also david hunts a magicians tale, which is a great book about a san francisco photographer who can only see in black and white, that tries to solve the murder of her
best friend.

Some of my favorites...

House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski: It's very cinematic, as you really experience it as you read. Varying text placement and size, etc. Really gives your mind a workover, it's crazy! I got nightmares from it, but I loved it. :p

White Oleander by Janet Fitch: Poetic, beautifully moving tale of a girl growing up after her mother is put in jail for killing a man. The words, the feeling, everything is so delicate and honest. A wonderful read.

A Christmas Memory by Truman Capote: A short story about the sweet friendship between a young boy and his older relative during christmas time. It's a very nostalgic story that reminds me a lot of my childhood. Heartwarming.

Wow..this is a hard question because my room is stacked with so many books I love, lol. Some day I will probably have to build myself a library to keep track of them all O_o yeah...I really do have tons of books. Well anyway here are some of my favorites, I don't know if anyone else has ever read theme because alot of them aren't that well known.

The Hound and the Falcon, Avarian Rising, and Alamut all by Judith Tarr

Moonwalk, Widdershins, and Dreams Underfoot by Charles deLint

I also like some manga books:
Deathnote, Vampire Game, Alchino, Return to Labyrinth, Ranma 1/2, Inu-Yasha, Lone Wolf and Cub, and alot more...

And there are more books I like as well, but I would take all day to write how many I like down lol.

My favorite book of all time in Jinx, by Margaret Wild. I do also like a lot of romances, including The Vampire's Seduction, The Deception, Rebecca, and Paradise. I enjoy teenage novels too, like Bloom and Ironside. I have so many piles of books this was hard to answer. My interests dabble in a little of every genre.

So far, the most awesomest book would probably be "Of Mice and Men", by: John Steinbeck. (It's also the shortest XD And though it may be short, the vocabulary and they way the writing is written is pretty difficult to comprehend if your reading vocabulary is at a low level) If you don't know what it is about, it is about two men who got fired from their jobs because one of them was mentally retarded and supposedly did something bad to a lady just because he touched the material of her dress. Yes the guy likes soft stuff, yet he is a huge man who is freakishly strong. The problem happens when they find jobs in another place, and thanks to his liking of petting things, he accidently kills a puppy, and he kills a lady as well, since she told him to touch her hair, and suddenly, he tried to shut her up since he got aggressive and she started to scream. But, unfortunately, he shook her too much, and her neck broke inside. It is a pretty sad story, and I think you guys should read it, its interesting! :D

I'm a total bibliophile, so this question is hard for me to answer. I love too many to pick.

However, I adore Terry Pratchett. And absolutely loved the book he wrote with Neil Gaiman "Good Omens".

I also like Pratchett's "Thief of Time", which is part of the Disc World series.

Though I haven't really been reading anything as of late, old favorites of mine include The Chronicles of Narnia, Wrinkle in Time, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter, and some other old classics that I can't seem to remember the names of.

My sister has been bothering me lately to read The Golden Compass, so I might read that. She says its very very good. [:

I just finished reading Rhett Butler's People. It is now my favorite book of all time! It was so great. I wasn't fond of the Scarlett sequel to Gone with the Wind so I was a little wary of another sequel, but Rhett Butler's People is wonderful!
