Frank Peretti is a novelist who write Religious Related Thrillers. The wrote books such as
Hangmans Curse(Maybe you've seen the movie?)
Nightmare Academy
-and co-wrote
House(soon to be a movie)
They're all very very very interesting and sooo much fun to read it's hard to put them down! Then you just sit around anticipating another book and waiting for the next movie to come out. I KNOW I AM! Hopefully you'll check them out. Trust me he's totally worth it!!

I haven't read all his books, but read The Oath when it came out. This is horror fiction on a par with Steven King, but for some reason murkier to get through. I don't think it is because of the religious themes, but just that King is a more polished writer.

Peretti's biography is interesting too -- apparently he had an appalling birth defect and had a miserable childhood. It's no wonder he is a successful horror writer and I wish him all the best.
