Warriors by Erin Hunter c:
Yayyyy, warrior kitties! This book series also got me into roleplaying, heh. Actually, in grade school a bunch of my friends and well.. really.. my whole grade read the series. So at recess, we'd go out into the feild and divide ourselves up into 'clans' and pretend to be cats. I miss grade school.
Oh, and the Magic Tree House series. I remember doing a few book reports with these books.

Mine was Harry Potter. My mom introduced it to me when I was 5, and I had a reading level good enough to start the series when I was 7.

Haha, mine was quite old: Dr. Seuss! But for real books, the series is probably Harry Potter.

The first book series I got into was The Baby-sitters Club by Anne M. Martin. Even belonged to the fan club and got like 4 books every month up to around 100 then can't remember what happened after that. I was also into the R.L. Stine Goosebumps books and the Fear Street books. Eventually I did get into the Boxcar Children series like several others posting before me have.

OMG! I remember that book! XD I also remember how unrealistic it was. Ha ha. When I was a kid I'd always be like, "that could never happen so easily."
Now it's like, whatever.
Lol, and I think what really got me into books were the poems from Shel Silverstein. I loved the pictures that accompanied it too.

My first series of books was The Chronicles of Narnia and The Indian in the Cupboard. I'm pretty sure that I was in first grade when I started both series. I finished The Indian in the Cupboard series that same year, and then finished The Last Battle when I was in second grade.

As sad as this is going to sound. My very first book series to read and finish was Harry Potter. I have started others, but have yet to finish any of them. Who knows, maybe someday I will actually finish the others I have started.

I believe it was The Secrets Of Droon.
...Well, that was my first series I finished in elementary school, I'm not sure about earlier.
Either that or it was The Magic Tree House Series.

I don't remember my first book but I do remember the reason I started reading.
I used to hate reading with a passion when I was little {and now I love it with a passion xD Funny how things work out, eh?}
But my teacher in Elementary school started reading the very first Harry Potter book at the end of class if we had time. I got into it after a bit and eventually I got upset that he read so slow. It was agonizing waiting for him to read it everyday at the very end of class and then he read so slow! And then days we wouldn't be able to for lack of time. So I got so upset that he read it so slow and was afraid we wouldn't finish it that year that I got my parents to buy it and I got done with it before he was halfway through. XDDD
I do remember reading Dr. Suess books and the Magic Tree House books quite a lot too ^^

The first series I ever finished was probably Trixie Belden, at least of the books we had at the time.
It's really hard to find copies now that I'm feeling nostalgic about it, though. xD
