That's inaccurate. :) The ranks do not work in that way. I'm a bit sad that you've seen all the badges you could have earned, though. :c

Please do not be mistaken - the fact that there is no event currency has been in the FAQ since the FAQ was written. We have been up-front with that from the start.

In the Valentines Event Forum (a subforum under General Discussion), if you scroll down, you'll see some candy boxes on the right side you can click for event items. We release one new event item daily until about a day before the end of the event (generally).
