Yes, that is a wonderful idea.
Though normally my event threads are popular...it must have something to do with the low tech format they are going with that is keeping people away.

They were like on most sites where you collected a special event currency to get the event items. They also had a second currency that you could use in the event commons shop to get items instead if using gold.
Of course there was also a special background on the site and stuff like that.

It is spiffy, but it can also cause a lot of glitches. With those events it was a tradition that there were glitches and the event always got extended because of them.

To tell you the truth I kind of like this way better because you don't have to remember to go visit whoever to get currency. Which I considered kind of a bonus since I earned most of mine for posting.

Yes for the most part. Though I think in some ways this way makes more work for the staff.

This way does seem to be more laid back.
It also seems to have prompted more people to make their own games.

Yeah, it does seem more laid back.

I like it, it's nice. I don't have to frantically try to get every item.

Yaa! Coolio. I love how chill it all feels. Though, that's probably something to due with my lack of overall involvement. I was playing all sorts of games during the Feast of Fools and never slept for it. :lol:

Yeah, I dunno if it will ever rest for a full 24 hours. Events are when people are most active and that is an awfully long time in event time. xD

Especially because events are always super crazy.
