The ancients constructed a school ment for the peoples of the Earth so that they too could gain the knowledge of the universe. One of these students, however, took the lessons in a different light and used his knowledge to fight back against the ancients and all of their power. He succeeded in killing one of the ancients by casting him onto the Earth's surface where he died a slow and painful death. The ancients, seeing this new development, closed down the school and altered human language into 12 different dialects based on the classes. Because of this the people couldn't share what they'd learned and the knowledge of the ancients was broken and therefore useless to the people. The ancients, knowing that that one person known simply as Rowan could still hunt them down, shook with fear. He was the only one still alive that had completed the course. They brought in their own children and tried to train them as warriors to fight Rowan but he was able to fight and kill each one that was sent after him. The ancients, mourning the loss of their beloved children, cast up a mighty wall to protect themselves and closed the connection between the higher world and Earth. The humans saw that they were now doomed without the ancients grace and goodwill and mourned for their own loss for 12 days. After the 12th day a handful of children were born and they were able to speak the old dialect. The people, seeing that they could still unite the teachings so that they could fight back against Rowan and bring the ancients back, taught them all that they had learned as teachers within the walls of the old school which had opened again upon the ancients leave. Now the children learn from their elders and pass the teachings between each other, training for the day when they can fight against Rowan and take back their world.

5- attempt not to curse, but if it's to make a point it's allowed within reason.
6- the children are the same age, 14, so don't have some older person unless you want to make it a teacher (and therefore can only speak to those with the same language).
7- fights are ok between children as long as you don't kill them. they are children after all.
8- the main baddie will appear when I say so.

If you wish to be an adult you must pick one of these and can only speak to others in that language. The children can translate for you, but you'd have to cooperate with another person (obviously).

Side effects: It takes a lot of energy and concentration to control. However if not completely focused, it can come out in random sizes (ie slight snow fall and everything can completely be covered in thick ice.) It also takes a lot out of her to fully control it and can leave her powerless for a bit.

Side Effects: The real draw back tot his power is the lack of control over the barriers he can summon, but removing and holding them is another thing all together. Some last seconds, others never leave, there is still one in his room which he occasionally stubs his toe on.
