I actually graduated technically ... last year. But then I had the crazy idea to do postmaster, mostly because I didn't want to go to work. I partly regret it now, because I really am tired of it, as in everything will take me even longer to finish now. I would like to earn money, move in together with my boyfriend and well.. start the real thing :D

I majored in communication, culture & marketing. And am now working on a pedagogical degree... slowly :)

I already graduated with a bachelors in science in psychology. I decided to go ahead and try to find a job and work on paying off my loans while I chose what to pursue. I was originally vying to go to medical school, but then I felt it wasn't really for me. The cost also played a huge role in my decision to give up. >_>;; Anything I end up choosing will require another two to four years. I really love psychology, so I still have my eyes on becoming a psychologist.

I'm stuck with the military for a little over two years, so I have some time to finalize some plans. xD

Oh, that's so cool! I got a lot of psychology in my bachelors too, I love it! And now I have to teach certain aspects of psychology to sixteen-to-eighteen year olds. Very basic though.

And I'm not sure yet, it's a hard decision. I've decided I'm gonna do some volunteers work for Amnesty this summer, then do some for another organisation abroad. I'll see (:

Ever since high school, I ditched the idea of going to art school and becoming an animator to become a psychiatrist. Then after getting more into it in college...I realized I wanted to do more than prescribe medication. I wanted to actively help people get better. xD

Yup! Some days I wake up and wonder why I signed up. My job is so boring. I work 12 hour shifts at a small clinic. All we do is screen patients, take vitals, and do minor treatments. It's so...repetitive and simple. I'm always getting yelled at by officers once they find out I joined WITH a degree. They end up pushing me to put in a packet to become an officer. I don't want to be the average officer though... Meanwhile, the sergeants are trying to push me to become a sergeant, because after going to the promotion board, I can easily make the points to be sergeant. >_>; Meh. I'm not interested in administration and babysitting soldiers...

No, I'm just having the extra year so I can also have the competences of teaching the higher classes of highschool. It's not necessary to teach. I could just go teach without the diploma, but the pay is less and you have no job certainty. But after my internship, I realized, even though I like to teach, I don't want to teach. I feel too young, and am still exploring my options.

I'm not so fond of the military to be honest, though I realize they also do good jobs sometimes. Have you ever considered working abroad maybe? Helping in less developed countries, maybe?

I don't like what politicians make soldiers do. We don't do anything major until they say something stupid. Right now there's that issue with North Korea. Everyone back home is writing like crazy asking if we're strapping up for war. Nope...just...getting up, going to PT and going to work, as usual. >_>;;

In my senior year, I was talking with the Peace Corps to try to get into it. If it weren't for my loans...:/ And while I was trying to get into medical school, I had my heart set on joining Doctors without Borders after some doctors who participated in it came to talk to us at an American Medical Students Association meeting. I guess the nice thing about being a medic is, when I get deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, we'll be providing medical care to the civilians there too as humanitarian aid.

Maybe you can get shorter heels? D8 I think I have a pair of boots with three inch heels, but I don't wear them often at all. I think my toes are a bit distorted...there are two that are too close to each other. >_> I used to wear socks all the time as a kid because I hate the way feet look...*coughs* Now I go around wearing house slippers.

They say we can buy plain black heels to go with the Class A's, but I went ahead and bought the ones that are authorized to go with the uniform to play it safe. It's the same shiny material as the regular dress shoes.

I still can't believe they switched to dress blues. Those things are hideous. :/ Why can't we be smart like the Marines and do it right the first time? *fans self over Marines dress uniform* 8D

The rooms in the new barracks are bigger. They have a walk through closet and fewer furniture. There's a tub in the bathroom rather than a shower.
