▬▬▬▬▬ ARTEMIOS DAELENWOOD • • • • •
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ as played by ISOS Duke

"Every forest is god's garden, a fallen leaf, a life lived."
PHYSICAL

Nickname Mio, Art, Guardian
Title Guardian of the Forest

Age Twenty-seven
Gender Male
Orientation Does not seem entirely interested, but would most likely be straight
Hair Golden blonde
Eyes Emerald green
Build Body lithe like a deer, torso petite and thin though tough with muscle
Skin tone Very pale due to species
Height six foot, eleven inches
Weight Three-hundred, seventy-five pounds
Handed Left
Body markings A swirling pale tattoo across the stomach that signifies adulthood within the clan
Scars Small scars here and there, nothing serious as the confrontations with the anthros were typically short lived as they would both return to their own kind.

MENTAL & EMOTIONAL

Personality Artemios is a stoic centaur, much like the others of his kind. He walks proud and tall, though it can come off as arrogant and bored looking. He's the type to not only take pride in what he does, but also what he can do and who he is. With his head held high, her aura seeps of confidence.

As a Guardian of the Forest, it is not uncommon for Artemios to offer the very blanket on his back in order to help those of or in the wood. However, he is also not one that can be walked over. Even with a placid expression, he is quick to act to defend himself or another. He speaks with the wisdom and age of his people which give hims the pride and courage to face all foes on any front.

Naturally a gentle creature, he will not go out of his way to harm another. This can be turned around in an instant from the very weakness of the Centaurs: alcohol. The four-legged creatures are known for their ability and enjoyment in consumption of fine wines and Artemios is no different. Much like their horse-blood brethren, even the deer-like Centaurs are known to get rowdy and violent in their drunken stupors.

Being such a prideful creature, Artemios does not appreciate the responses he gets from many of the humans that venture into their woods. Though they have never had an issue with the people of Yuua, who have accepted the race among their people and trade with them frequently, but for those not aware of their kind, they are treated with much disrespect. Even being of such a petite figure, just as all the men and women of his people, for humans to mistake him as a female is something take as an insult.

Mortal Alignment Lawful Neutral is how all the Guardians of the Forest are brought up to be. They are there to protect the forests and to protect their people while keeping positive relations with the adventurers they get within their land. Not shy to combat, Artemios will quickly take to arms to fight for what he believes is best for his home and people.

Motivation As a Guardian of the Forest, Artemios's motivation lies within protecting his people. He will fight to the ends of the world and back to keep them safe. On top of that, he seeks and behaves in a manner that would benefit and keep peace within the wooded lands. Their kind, especially the Guardians, have been known to help lost travelers, chase off bandits as well as help clear debris from the war and poor weather. Their drive to help one another as well as the other 'lesser' races of the forest really drive the behaviors behind any Guardian of the Forest.

Fear(s) Artemios, much like his sister, fears letting down his family. They both hold very important positions among their kind and thus have brought honor to their family. He fears that he may fail at his duty as a Guardian of the Forest and allow for an opening for the Anthros to attack their people. He is aware just how much of a species advantage they have and will use the advantage that comes from being a centaur to keep a strong defense up.

Likes New landscapes and open places. It is not uncommon for the twins to switch places to see what the other gets to see; it may not be a huge change, but it's enough. There's a bit of secrecy that goes with it as well; they can't let anyone find out they switched roles and the challenge excites them.

The twins also enjoy the peace of nature as well as the entertainment of those that wander around. They're accepting of others and enjoy listening to their stories. Before the war, the travelers were always respectful of the wilds that made of the forest of the Centaurs. As soon as the fighting stopped, the peaceful wanderers left and were replaced by men and beast clad in armor, armed to the teeth with weapons. The beauty of their lands tainted and destroyed leaving the twins and the other Guardians of the Forest to try and repair that which was so dear to them.

The sound of thunder, the fall of rains; all bring life to the forest and all are enjoyed by Artemios and his sister. They enjoy the sound of music dancing lightly across the wind and the sweet smells of life that take flight a well.

Dislikes Being mistaken for the opposite gender is probably one of the top dislikes on his list. It doesn't matter how difficult it is to tell if someone is male or female, but one should not be so disrespectful as to jump to conclusions on the matter. Do not ride the centaur either. Even though they're backs make look large and comfy to ride, the twins greatly dislike when people just up and decide they are going to do that. It's another respect thing; humans wouldn't like when others climb on their back and neither do centaurs.

Strengths
  • Throughout their training, the twins have become very levelheaded and prefer to avoid conflict where it is possible.
  • Loyalty. Should you find friendship and loyalty within any Centaur of the Forest, let alone one of the Guardians, you have a stout defender. You will find no other that will get mad for you, nor defend you tooth an nail like a Guardian of the Forest.
  • Very musical folk. Both Artemios and his sister were taught how to play music, though he favors the lute while his sister favors the flute.
Weaknesses
  • Even with the training that they've gone through, as a Centaur, Artemios is still one that can be provoked to anger and a Centaur's rage is not one to stay around.
  • Too large a heart. It can be dangerous, in the heat of battle, to worry about something. Being a Guardian of the Forest, Artemios is sympathetic to those harmed in combat that did not need to be. He is quick to aid those, even if it means attempting to break combat which is something that his sister does not seem to agree with unless she knows the person.
  • Sweets. Whether chocolate, fruity, chewy or hard, sweets and candies are practically considered a rare delicacy within the woods, especially after the war started. You want to see a Centaur become nearly instantly distracted, or at least Artemios and his sister? Sweets.

SPIRITUAL

Faith & Morals Though the Centaurs have come to respect the High Goddess, they oddly do not worship her. Rather they, worship those that they have deemed as the other gods and goddess that work with and for her, whether it be true or not. Each job of the centaurs involves the worship of a different god, as a Guardian of the Forest, Artemios believes and worship the goddess Gaia.
Virtues Among those most aware of their image in Artemios. Though a proud Centaur, he is not one to let it get to his head. Being level-headed, the virtues that people tend to coin he and his sister with are diligence and temperance. They are both known to hold back when needed as well as carefully assess a situation. They are also those that put their all into their work, though outside of work that can be a different story.
Sins While taking part in the public eye as the Guardians of the Forest, the twins have a completely different personality in their personal time it would appear. Artemios is a lazy centaur, often enjoying to casually sip his wine and partake a in good book. Nothing more than an emergency would get him to move in such a state. Though, being much more of a lightweight than his sister, he is known for his anger when drunk; something his sister chides him about, which only makes things worse. His sister, Apollonia, on the other hand is not only a glutton when it comes to wines and other fine spirits, but she's known to be greedy and hoard things she deems as valuable or important.

ATTIRE

Head/Neck A skull from a fallen opponent is crafted to take the shape of a helmet that connects to Artemios's antlers. He also wears a pair of ornate shoulder pads, must like the rest of the Guardians of the Forest.
Chest/Back Though centaurs are not one to enjoy the wearing of clothing, the role in which he holds for his people is one of high honor and therefore, it is a privilege for him to done a heavy silk blanket of white and silver. A breastplate matching is color and style of the shoulder pads and belt piece is worn as well, to keep the vital organs safe from attack.
Arms/Legs Other than a pair of ornate shoulder pads, the only other thing that Artemios wears from time to time would be a pair of elbow-length gauntlets that remained tucked in at his belt when not in use.

WEAPONRY & EQUIPMENT

Bow of the Forest Guardian Each class among the Centaurs of the Forest receive a specialized weapon; for the Guardians of the Forest, that weapon is a bow. At the end of the training for potential Guardians, they are taken deep into the sacred forest, where a wondrous magic lies and beasts from the shadow stalk their prey. They are sent out to seek the Tree of the Protector and from the tree, they are to prey and request from it a branch to be crafted into a fine weapon that the Guardian may use to protect the tree and the magic that lay within it. Those found worthy by the Tree are granted a branch, those that are not either return empty handed or are believed to become a shadow beast that stalks those that dare near the tree, whether they be Guardian of the Forest, trainee, or someone simply lost in the woods.
Sacred Blades of the Centaur Upon reaching adulthood, each Centaur is gifted their first real weapon. The weapon can vary from each individual, but may opt for either a bastard sword or a pair of single handed blades. When it came down to this decision, Artemios chose to wield a bastard sword feeling that it would be more useful in protecting his people and the forest. His sister, though sharing the same thought, felt the job could be better done with two single handed blades.
Golden Antler Caps Upon completing any sort of combat training, all Centaurs are rewarded with a set of spiked antler caps which are exchanged upon receiving a job within their kind. Being a Guardian of the Forest, that meant that the twins exchanged theirs for a pair of golden caps.

COMBAT ABILITY

Rating System
[Perfect] - [Excellent] - [Above Average] - [Average] - [Below Average] - [Poor] - [Terrible] - [No Skill]

Mounted Hand-to-hand [ABOVE AVERAGE] -- Full body fighters, Centaurs are a breed that are trained to fight with their whole body. Not only do they hold a height advantage to their foes, but their weight and build are natural weapons. Weighing in around 350 pounds or more, one would feel if one of these creatures stepped on them, let alone used their muscular legs to kick them, or their forms to charge someone down. On top of that, they are also gifted with a pair of antlers, regardless as to their gender, the graceful antlers grace the top of every head. Much like a deer, they grow larger each year after being shed for the winter. The difference comes from those that fight for their people sharpening them or attaching some sort of decorated spike to their tops to add damage.
Mounted Melee [ABOVE AVERAGE] -- A sword is a show of honor; to lay down a sword for another, to put oneself so close to combat is considered an honor and privilege only taught to those that may be called upon to fight for their people in a war. While hand-to-hand is a natural way for a centaur, they prefer to hold a more poised form of combat when fighting with others. They are trained to watch their blade and only make movements needed to survive and take down their opponent. At the same time, it is not uncommon for a centaur to mix body fighting in with their sword fighting.
Mounted Ranged [EXCELLENT] -- The main focus of Artemios's training as a Guardian of the Forest was in ranged abilities. It was believed that to handle an opponent before they could get too close to them or their people. They were trained to be accurate and to know where on the body to hit something to either kill, cripple, stun or simply harm them.
Magic [BELOW AVERAGE] -- Centaurs are not raised to be creatures of magical abilities, however, upon taking up the role of Guardian of the Forest these individuals are trained in the art of healing magic. Their goal to is help aid those in need just enough to let them seek further help. He cannot fully heal deep wounds, but can slow or stop the bleeding and encourage the body to clot quicker. A Guardian of the Forest is no replacement for a real healer.
Mounted [AVERAGE] -- As a Centaur, Artemios cannot fight unmounted as such, all of his abilities are done as he is. All attacks that he has are then considered to be mounted as he constantly has the height and size advantage over most foes.

BACKGROUND

Kingdom Affiliation Neutral, though alliances have been formed with Yuua
Marital Status Single
Occupation Guardian of the Forest
History The Centaur's of the Forest differ from their mountainous cousins. Rather than appearing much more like a Clydesdale, the Forest Centuars seem to appear to be a cross between the Elven races of old and the rare white deer that once protected the lands. When the Forest Centaur's first appeared, those that believed the legends thought them to be what came of the white deer and forest elves that seemed to vanish so long ago.

Peaceful by nature, these Centaur continue to protect the forest as the races of old before them. They take great pride in their work as well as helping those in need. Many a species that did not outright attack those that protected the forest were brought in and taken care of before being assisted on their travels.

Though the race had been thriving over the years, a legend began spreading through their kind like wildfire that change was coming. Things that should not happen to their kind would, things that should not happen in their forests would and the world would forever be changed. The elders began making the legends aware as they sense among the forest that the magics that lay within were beginning to prepare for these changes.

Just as these changes were being foretold, the Maiden of Daelenwood took a Suitor. The Maiden was viewed as a sacred object, one that was blessed by the forest due to her supposed ancestry to the White Deer and the Elven race. It was believed that within her blood told the history of what became of them and how their people came to be. For the Maiden to take a Suitor was not only a high honor for the Suitor, but was a sign that strong bloodlines would continue among their kind.

When it was announced that the Maiden was expecting, there were many celebrations to be had. Everyday the Centaurs would prepare for the birth of the Maiden's young. There would be feasts and banquets carefully prepared and crafted through the help of the forest. Then, many months down the road, the elders announced that the Maiden was not expecting one, but two. The Forest Centaur's knew not how to react at first. They wished to rejoyce for such luck, but there was the heavy weight of the changing of times. The peaceful look upon the Maiden's face would quickly calm them and they would begin preparations anew, as there was a second to prepare for.

The time came during the full moons, mid-spring that year. The weather was warm, yet mild, the winds brought about a soft warm breeze that was drunk in the scent of flowers and green life of the forest. Decorated in flowers and a blanket of moss and small wild flowers, the Maiden made her solo trip into the heart of the forest. Though the heart of the forest was a place that the Guardians of the Forest ever ventured due to the vile shadow beasts that inhabit there, the magic of the wood would protect the Maiden.

Under the bright light of the moon, surrounded by the glowing waters that lay in ponds around the Tree of the Protector, two infant centaur's lie curl up their tired mother. Early the next morning, her Suitor would make the trip out to the tree to gather the Maiden and children. Upon arriving, the Maiden was already awake, the children wide eyed as well, already playing in the forest clearing. Taking to her feet, the Maiden went to her Suitor, a smile on her face as the children quickly clamored up beside the male. The union with his family enough to settle the shock of seeing his mate so alter so soon after giving birth to the twins. The behavior of the children was not something of surprise as they took more after their deer ancestor with having to be quick to their feet.

The twins grew quickly, as was custom to their kind and per their mother's request, they were not to be treated any differently than the rest of their kind. She wanted her children to grow up knowing what it was like to live among their people, not to be coddled and seemingly worshiped like she had been. However, this did not keep the mother and their father from being protective of the two as children, even if the two did like to switch places from time to time in a hope to trick everyone, parents included.

They seemed to constantly get into trouble, even when they didn't mean to. Everything from knocking over weapon racks to bringing home less than pleased creatures that would require the adults to chase out. At times like those, their people had to wonder just how the two were able to bring such beasts to their home without being torn to shreds; though they knew it had to do with who they were.

As they grew older, it became time for the twins to begin their training in their life occupation. Apollonia who seemed to have a knack for magic and was desired by the healers, while it was believed that Artemios would do well as a Guardian of the Forest. Upon hearing what was offered to her brother Apollonia quickly protested her path. Upon going before the elders and their mother, the protest was accepted and the twins were both allowed to enter into training for Guardian of the Forest.

It was the Tree of the Protector that the Guardians were sworn to protect. They were to protect that and all that the tree fought for, including the forest itself and all those that lived within it. Many would enter the training, but very few were deemed worthy by the Tree. The group would venture out into the woods daily, a little deeper each time until they reached the point where light mixed with darkness and the creatures of shadow were known to live.

They would continue their training at that distance from the tree until their final trial came: be gifted with a branch from the Tree of the Protector. The day of the test was a stormy day and the animals seemed unsettled by this as they forest was alive from their movements. The test would continue though, as the Guardians would have to protect even in harsh weather conditions. Out of the seven of them that would venture out there, only 3 would be granted their branch, twins included, two would return empty handed and two would go missing.

It was during the years of their apprenticeship that the twins were allowed to continue to serve together, that they would bump into a woman, one that seemed very wise beyond her appearance. She was worn out and appeared to be lost so the two brought her back to their village, it was there that her people would learn that she was a Seer and a bond would be formed between all of them.

Time went on and the twins received their own areas to protect and in the times of the war, their lands and those of the anthros were forced much closer than they had been before. Not only did they have to protect their people and those of the forest from the on going fighting, but to have their natural predator so close to their doors did not make things any better. Even with the fighting winding down, things have yet to settle and become peaceful for the Centaur as the small battles here and there continue to rage within the forest.

OTHER

Extras Artemios, much like the rest of his kind, have enhanced senses due their race. Due to their half-animal nature, the male has enhanced hearing as well as improved vision in the dark. Artemios and his sister also remain in contact via his sister's Gyrfalcon Hermokrates.

▬▬▬▬▬ KIYOMI EYADONA RASHMAAL • • • • •
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ as played by ISOS Duke

"A proud heart can survive a general failure because such a failure does not prick its pride."
PHYSICAL

Nickname Princess or Kiyomi
Title Princess of Rashmaal

Age Reality places her at four years old, magic puts her at twenty-one
Gender Female
Orientation Straight
Hair Long light brown locks lay in slight waves halfway down her back
Eyes Bright brown eyes, full of the joys life has to offer
Build No longer in the body of a mere child, Kiyomi now has a rather shapely body; as men would say, 'with curves in all the right places'. Her large brown eyes are something that can be used as a weapon against the large of heart and she has a 'Princess perfect' button nose. Her seemingly flawless skin, slender figure and delicate stature is one that screams of strong bloodlines.
Skin tone A sun-kissed tan thanks to living at a port city
Height 5 foot, 7 inches, though traditionally 3 foot, 8 inches
Weight One hundred-twenty five pounds
Handed Has not found a favored hand to write with. Her parent encourage the use of her right hand, Kiyomi often switches hands when practicing her writing
Body markings A birthmark in the shape of the silhouette of a bird in flight on her right shoulder blade
Scars A scar dons the palm of the Princess's left hand. She was horsing around in the kitchen with a knife one day and fell. Safe to say the kitchen staff, as well as Akiyama got scolded with the Princess for that one.

MENTAL & EMOTIONAL

Personality Kiyomi is the sunshine of Rashmaal. People say that if you were to look upon her face, or even spend a few moments with her, she could make the worst of days so much better. She's chipper and upbeat, even the worst of falls cannot tarnish her smile. She can be wily and outgoing, a trait that the King and Queen wish she would grow out of. However, her fondness towards Akiyama, her Guardian, and the stories he tells her keep her from conforming to the perfect princess her parents wish her to be. She's well behaved when she needs to be, but when it comes to play time, the young child is off seeking adventures of her own. She's a kind hearted soul and would only ever wish the for the best for the Kingdom her family rules over, the Kingdom she will one day inherit.

She's the type that would rather go out and run around than stay inside and read, but at the same time she's respectable and understands what her parents wish of her. This does not stop the girl from being rebellious, but her fear of being scolded by her parents does keep her from causing too much trouble from time to time.

Even for such a young age, Kiyomi is very vocal and does not seem to have a filter. A part of the exhaustion her parents have comes from the fact that she tends to be the most well behaved when Akiyama is around. Yes, she listens to her parents, but she seems to take pride in following their orders when her Guardian is around. She acts as though she wants to impress the much older male, but then again, wouldn't that be true for anyone that desired they were going to wed another so early in life?

Between the scoldings from her parents as well as want to impress Akiyama, Kiyomi could behave like a perfect lady in front of others. Not that she wanted to, but she could.

Her dislike towards the Prince of Yuua is clear as day. She tends to go out of her way to avoid him as well as ignoring him. The sad thing is, if she had actually gotten to know the Prince, she could have liked him. There was just one thing preventing all of that from happening: he wasn't Akiyama.

She's a headstrong, optimistic Princess who only sees the good that comes from her Kingdom. To her, Rashmaal is the epitome of perfect; the people are happy and healthy, they love their King and nothing could be better. She's far too young to know of the war going on between her homeland and their neighbor of Yuua, let alone the falseness of her belief in a perfect Rashmaal. Even when going out of strolls, the Princess will boast about how wonderful the land is and whether they people around her too captivated by her cheerfulness or they just don't wish to burst her bubble, none have told her of the reality of the land.

Mortal Alignment Lawful Good; Kiyomi believes in honesty, trust and loyalty. She will keep her word and help the less fortunate. She has an image of her Kingdom and will see it through.

Motivation Kiyomi's heart lies within her vision she sees of Rashmaal and its people. She's sees a wonderful nation where the people are happy and treated fairly. It is her goal to ensure that this is indeed how things continue to be.

Fear(s) To say that the Princess is fearless would be a mistake, at the same time she has lived such a sheltered life that she has yet to be introduced to that which could cause her harm and force her to fear it. Creepy crawlies and other gross things? Oddly, this girl doesn't fear those; what new adventurer could?!

Likes Akiyama, Akiyama's stories, playing with Akiyama, going horseback riding with Akiyama. Starting to get the picture? Akiyama is really all that fills her mind. In fact, on nearly a daily basis, Kiyomi must announce to the male, as well as others in the Castle, that she plans on marrying Akiyama one day. She does enjoy horseback riding and has even been taking lessons on one of the small ponies in the stables; her instructors say that she's catching on quite well. She also has a stuffed horse named Midnight that she takes with her wherever she goes.

Dislikes Not being around Akiyama and having fun. Even as a Princess, Kiyomi would sooner listen to the stories of her Guardian and reenact them than sit at a dinner party. She's much more active than her parents could have wished her to be and thus, does not like to sit in one place.

Strengths
  • Steadfast; Kiyomi will stand for what she believes and what she views as right.
  • Pure hearted; she is not afraid of what may come from helping another; whether the person is rich or poor, healthy or ill, none of that matter to the Princess.
  • She is a very quick learner, able to understand and/or pick up most things in just a few tries.
Weaknesses
  • Naive; technically being so young, Kiyomi holds with the knowledge of a child. Adult matters tend to not be her forte, even if she pretends like she understands what's going on.
  • A bit too adventurous, Kiyomi is more likely to get herself lost or hurt than anything else.
  • Being fearless can only get you so far before it becomes something that can threaten your life.

SPIRITUAL

Faith & Morals Being a Princess of the Kingdom of Rashmaal, Kiyomi is to attend the weekly services that the Kingdom's clergy puts on. They worship a single God that is supposed to protect them; they do not believe in having a separate god for every little thing and thus, only have one to cover everything. It is not uncommon for the young Princess to ask Akiyama of his own beliefs, or joining him in prayer. Being a curious one, she also enjoys asking those of other nations of their beliefs.
Virtues Even as a Princess, Kiyomi is selfless when it comes to kindness. One would not find another that is quicker to give the only clothing on her back should someone else need it. Even in her own castle, it was not uncommon for her to offer her tiny stole to the guards that would stand out and guard all day. She is patient and would rather discuss things than for violence to be the only solution.
Sins Pride. Kiyomi will fight tooth and nail to prove her point and will not budge, even if she is wrong. As far as her preception and her Kingdom and reality? Completely wrong, but she will fight to say that her father is right and that her Kingdom will do whatever it can to help its people. She takes great pride in what she does and often gets flustered when people critisize what she does, or makes any sort of comments short of praising.

ATTIRE
[IMG]CanAddAnImageHere,IfWanted[/IMG]

Head/Neck Kiyomi cannot be found without a white bow. Taking after Akiyama, she insisted that she get one as well. It was something that her parents did not fully support as it only encouraged their daughter's attachment to the male, but one day she found one on her bedside table when she awoke.
Chest/Back Being offered clothing from an elderly couple in Twin Falls, Kiyomi dons a kimono-style halter top that seems to barely cover the chest she isn't used to having. On her arms are long sleeves that seem to behave more like decoration and amusement to the Princess than anything else.
Arms/Legs Following the light clothing of her top, Kiyomi's lower half is covered by a short, matching Kimono-style skirt and a pair of white boots that go up to her knees. Even with the short skirt, the Princess doesn't seem to have lost her rambunctious habit of doing whatever she pleases, regardless to what she's wearing.

WEAPONRY & EQUIPMENT
[IMG]CanAddAnImageHere,IfWanted[/IMG]

Long Bow Though she has no idea how to safely, accurately, or appropriately use the weapon, the elderly couple gifted her the weapon along with the clothes. Even without knowing how to use it, Kiyomi is determined to figure the weapon out so that she can at least be a little useful.
The Environment As frightening as it can be to give Kiyomi a bow she's never used before would probably be her knack for using anything she can get her hands on as some sort of protection. She knows not how to use what she picks up, but boy will she try. It all else fails, she'll just start throwing things, or run away.

COMBAT ABILITY

Rating System
[Perfect] - [Excellent] - [Above Average] - [Average] - [Below Average] - [Poor] - [Terrible] - [No Skill]

Hand-to-hand [TERRIBLE] -- Spurring from the stories that Akiyama would tell her before going to bed, it wouldn't be uncommon for the Princess to challenge her Guardian. He was never one to take the notion seriously, not only because she was a child but the King and Queen had been very vocal on not wanting their daughter to be caught up in such things.
Melee [TERRIBLE] -- Much like with hand-to-hand, Kiyomi was determined to master this area as well. She wanted to be able to fight side-by-side with Akiyama, but just how able was a four year old? Two words: not very.
Ranged [TERRIBLE] -- Though with a similar, yet different backing, this area also stems from stories of adventure. This time though, Kiyomi wished to learn to use a bow to help Akiyama at a distance. She wanted to be able to help him in his fights without needing to worry him by putting herself in danger.
Magic [NO SKILL] -- Being of human royalty, any magic prowess that may lie within the young Princess has remained dormant. Her parents being fully against the use and thought of magic, much like other humans, fully banished the thought of Kiyomi ever being introduced to it.
Mounted [BELOW AVERAGE] -- Kiyomi was never taught how to fight, at all. However, during her rides with Akiyama, as well as constantly asking the Stable master for a pony to ride, the notion had been brought to the King and Queen to let the Princess to start riding lessons early. It was eventually agreed upon, after many countless nights for Kiyomi's parents, but she still has quite a way to go to be considered an Equestrian master.

BACKGROUND
[IMG]CanAddAnImageHere,IfWanted[/IMG]

Kingdom Affiliation Kingdom of Rashmaal
Marital Status Engaged to the Prince of Yuua
Occupation Princess of Rashmaal
History The Kingdom of Rashmaal has always been the proud main port nation of the land. Though there are several small trading ports along the coast, none can boast as strong a fleet or grand of protection than those of Rashmaal. The days, though bright and cheery from weather, were anything but as far as citizen happiness went. Taxes were high, people were sick and even though the main trade route went through their Kingdom, the people nary saw the high quality goods that came and went from their gates and ports. The highly educated were taken to work in the castle, leaving the commoners with very little.

The people believed the King and Queen to be selfish and cruel and that their bounty would soon run dry if things didn't start to change. There were those that would gather together to petition the King, but should he take offense to them, those people were never seen again. They were banished from the Kingdoms and took refuge in the lands beneath the Northern Mountains known as the banished lands. Within the Banished Lands was an oasis of sorts, it was a small town known as Twin Falls. Though the town was the collection of souls lost and banished, life was peaceful and people helped each other thrive, those that stole did so from the Kingdom and returned the bounty to the very people that took them in. Twin Falls was a place known to the King, but he had yet to have any real reason to attack the town as there were no solid ties to the lefts and the people that lived there.

The people, in all their suffering prayed that something or someone would come along to save them from their misery. A few years later, those prayers were heard as it was announced that the Queen was pregnant. Upon the birth of the Princess, the people celebrated, possibly far more than any other city celebrating the birth of a new royalty. While the Queen was with baby, the people prayed that the child would save them from what was going on for they loved their home and loathed their ruler.

When Kiyomi was born and visitors were allowed, people flooded in from all over to see the new Princess. Even the commoners would try to find a way to see the child that they hoped would save them all. She barely cried and always seemed happy; her smile calming the people of Rashmaal as the truly believed her to be their savior.

As Kiyomi grew older, she was assigned to her own personal Guardian as her parents were often too busy to attend to her and entertain her. This was when the child first met Akiyama. At first, she wasn't sure what to think of the man, but that hesitation lasted a whole ten seconds before she roped the man into having a tea party with her and her wet nurse, the maids, and her various stuffed animals. Even a servant and cook had been pulled into the fray.

The castle staff seemed to move lightly around the Princess, as though they were afraid she would break or be startled by their sudden appearance. As time would go on, they would learn that their Princess was not one they had to worry about, at least not in that way. As she was told stories by Akiyama, Kiyomi seemed to become harder to control, at least by anyone that wasn't her parents or Guardian. The maids would have a heck of a time trying to find her as she would climb the trees in the apple orchard and then would run in fear as she discovered a new creepy, crawly that she just had to share with them. At times, the staff wondered if they were really raising a Princess and not a Prince. From a couple as refined as the King and Queen of Rashmaal, it was hard to believe that they had a daughter as wild as Kiyomi. The staff would never verbalize this, even in privacy.

Upon her 4th birthday, the King and Queen decided it was time for the Princess to begin her education. Though it was a chore to get the child to do anything when Akiyama wasn't around, she caught on quickly during the lessons she paid attention to. Her parents wished her to be a refined, intelligent young woman so on top of her normal studies, she was beginning dancing lessons as well as musical instruction.

Then, one day, a strange man appeared in the castle, one that Kiyomi had never met, even in trips to other Kingdoms. The man was introduced to her as her future husband. Confused, the child had insisted that Akiyama was such a person already. Tired of their daughter's childishness, the King and Queen put their foot down on that matter telling their daughter that if she didn't stop such a thing, Akiyama would no longer be around.

It was that night that Kiyomi went to bed, sad and alone as her parents would not allow her Guardian to tuck her in, that she saw him sneak out and followed him.

Extras Always by her side is her 'fearless' stuffed animal, a black pony which she has named Midnight. She will often speak to the stuffed toy and it is not uncommon to hear her sassing off about her arranged marriage to the silent listener.

✛ - - - - - - - - - - ISOS Duke

"Men are moved by two levers: fear and self interest" - Napoleon Bonaparte

✛ Hello, my name is Riley Rouchele Belmont. Even so, I would prefer that you call me Dia (short for Radiation) or just Riley.
✛ I was born a man loving female on February 15, 2279 (21).
✛ I’m from Wales and I’m currently employed as a weapons specialist for a secret sector of the government.

When it comes to my looks, I couldn’t be happier. I have long green hair that falls just below my hips and yes, that is my natural hair color. If you think that's odd, I also have a pair of bright gold eyes. Yes, they are also nature and no, I will not put up with your criticism of either. I stand at approximately five-foot, four inches tall with a weight of one hundred-fifteen pounds. I have a scar in a shape similar to Poseidon's Trident on the lower half of my left breast and upper portion of my rib cage. While I will not share with you how I got such a scar, the only knowledge of use would be in knowing that within that scars holds information on myself and my works which is relayed on a need-to-know basis, a basis which is organized by the Welsh Government. My usually attire is made up of a pair of white shorts and a long black jacket with detached sleeves that has purple, white and gold accents. Beneath the jacket is a white turtleneck tank top and beneath the short are a pair of white thigh-high heeled boots.
My soldier number is RRB - 71 and my uniform accent is Magenta. I wear a Tank Suit and my weapon classes are energy (link image of weapon) and area of effect (link image).

Personality wise, I'm...
There are two (2) faces to Riley Belmont. I am either on duty or off duty, you will find no mixture of the two. The profile in which you are reading is presented as 'on duty' as this is a part of my mission. While 'on duty' I am blunt and straight to the point. If I feel that your behaviors and/or actions are not benefiting to the mission, I will not hesitate to call you out in front of a group of people. I am not shy when it comes to such things and justly, I expect the same treatment in return. In a mission as dangerous as this, one must be will to criticize and be criticized.

While off duty, I'm much friendlier. I'm outgoing and enjoy being around others. The others of the Sect I am apart of never seem to be amazed just how different I am when the work switch turns off. One must keep work and play separate though!

Regardless to being on or off duty, for the most part I am a kind person. I am one of those types that would take a bullet for my comrades in a heartbeat. That's not to say that I cannot be mean. When irked, depending on what you did, I can either mask the ire to make you think that I'm not mad, or I could be completely 'rip your face off' blunt. Which one I may need for you? Well, that all depends on you.

I didn’t want to kill myself because...
As a member of a Secret Sect within the Welsh Government, it was an honor to be picked for the job. To be among those that returned to Earth with even the slightest possibility of providing information on it being inhabitable, it would shine brightly upon Wales to have had a hand in it. My decision was not my own and I have no complaints on the matter.

I am also very interested in the Radiation levels on Earth. They would make a wonderful addition to any weapon I can figure out how to bind it with.

On that note, I should probably talk about my past some.
The information of my personal life is not information that you are privy to. I have skeletons in my past much like any other, have had things impact my life drastically but such things shall not be of importance upon this mission as this is a mission, not a setup for a blind date.

I enrolled into the Aeronautics Military Academy of Wales when I was still a child. My focus into my studies great, my grades the highest of any that they had seen through their facility since it opened. When I was old enough to choose my course, it was easy to pick weapons and modifications specialist. To rank among the regulars was to take a route of predictability, but to rank among those that created the weapons of tomorrow, the possibilities were endless.

My time within the Academy was short lived as I graduated two years before my time. I remained inside the Academy though , assisting with research and looking for way to produce weapons or modification that would make life in space more comfortable. My actions did not go unnoticed as my own government took note in the strides I was trying to take. They offered me a position among their elite nary a year after I graduated. Accepting the position, I was notified that there were thoughts of sending groups to Earth and I was to assist in preparing whatever was deemed needed. With much of Earth a mystery, I aided in developing weapons types that hadn't been seen in many years. We scrapped damaged and broken rovers to see what we could use to aid those that were being sent down there.

For fun, I'll let you in on a little secret...
I can't cook, nor can I really take care of myself. In all honesty and reality, I would be a horrible housewife. That means don't ask me to cook or clean unless you want to die or lose something.

ALL ABOUT ME:
I'd like to say that I'm an easy going person, I like to help where I can and even if I'm of no use, I want to help out somehow. I don't enjoy seeing pain and suffering and would sooner take the pain of someone and deal with it myself then watch someone else suffer.

I'm not really sure what to say... I mean, I don't push people away and trust easy. I really like people too! I just like to learn what there is to know out there.
THE TRUTH:
Kali is a complex, yet simple individual. While all above state is true, it is strewn with the fact that she does not know what or who she really is. She is the type to grow attached easily, especially in this new world. She doesn't fully understand the customs of humans and can easily misread or misunderstand situations. Her people are not ones that joke around or court in a manner that humans do, so their jokes, behaviors, flirts and things such as that seem to either go over her head or her reactions are similar to the shy, meek high school girl talking to her crush.

Not being used to having a human form, her facial expressions and behaviors often betray her as her honest nature, no matter how hard she tries to hide it, will always show through. She is horrible at lying and her emotions are easy to read. She trusts easy which makes her a person that can be easily deceived. Add that to her being gullible, most from not being used to the nature of humans, and you have a Lord of Time that is definitely a green horn when it comes to watching over the times.

She's headstrong and will fight for what she believes in. She does not understand fear or the concept of backing down when the odds are against her. She's fierce and loyal and will do everything within her ability to see to her task at hand and to keep those around her happy.

Yet, even with all that and having such a kind heart, loss does not seem to phase her. While the saddness can be seen in her eyes, she is not one to simply cry over loss or the little things. Granted, she has never faced a true, big loss such as that of a loved one, but even the death of humans does not seem to phase her as though she knows it is not her job to interfer with life and death and the course of time.

SKILLS:
Gifted in the medical field, Kali has found herself a medic or an equivalent name in many an era. Her skills were deemed as above all others as the wounded and sick seemed to be come well much faster if they were taken to her. She also seems to have a way of resolving conflicts, though no one seems to understand how; people could be at each others' throats, weapons drawn, but she has been able to solve many a fight should she choose.
ABILITIES:
Unbeknownst to her, she is the Keeper of Time. She is the one that dictates the way events will play out and can change things in ways she demands. The only thing she is aware of at this point is she can't die, which means she has to venture from place to place before people begin catching onto her lack of aging and that she is able to heal people rather quickly, as though she speeds up time for the wound to heal.
EQUIPMENT:
Medical supplies kept in a brown, leather satchel.
WEAPON(S):
A staff, though Kali prefers not to fight when need be. The item also serves as a walking stick in her travels.

THAT DARK DAY:
Kali's father had been the ruler to the Keepers for years, him being the Time Keeper. With his position being held during many eras and lives of planets, the toll of his role slowly began to eat away at him. The leaders of the other immortal races noticed this long ago, but did nothing to help him or his people. Rather, they allowed his obsession with the different timelines to essentially lead to his destruction. Her father would disappear for weeks at a time, sometimes months or even years. During those times, he would surround himself with his favorite treasures and go back to the times in which they were from.

There were those that sought the power that the Lord of Time had and the power he granted his people. These people and creatures began to find their way to the Sands of Time, a place not on the human realm, but rather located within the ether that kept all planets align and their time continuing; they essentially lived within the pergatory of time as their people loved time so, but they were not ones allowed to actually take part, but had to watch and take care of it from a distance. Beasts and creatures hungry for power and shrouded in darkness began to attack this realm that was frozen in time which caused the normally peaceful Keepers to have to take wing to defend their home and the timelines of the worlds they were responsible for.

It was rare for the Lord to appear to aid in the fighting, but he would in order to manage the larger and more powerful beasts his people could not handle and then, just like that, he would be gone again. Some thought he was growing tired of his position, others felt that he truly was too obsessed with the times that he was responsible for guarding.
SINNING SOME MORE:
The fights in the Sands of Time were not recent events. These fights would have been spanning for many generations of human life. Many of these attacks struck up around the time of surge in human power and dominance which caused some of the Keepers to think that they desired to control time as well. They couldn't prove such a thing though, as the beasts, creatures, and bodies that they fought were shrouded in pure darkness, almost appearing like whatever they were, they encased themselves in black oil. They were nightmares to the Keepers.

The attacks seemed to slow one day and on that day the Lord of Time emerged from deep within the Caves of Time. He looked down, upon his people, announcing that his youngest daughter, Kali, would be the one to take his place as Lord and Keeper of Time. Then, before anyone could really react or question the decision, their Lord took wing and left the Sands of Time, none knowing where he went or when, if he would ever return.

There were no celebrations or congratulations on the pass of power for as soon as it happened, the creatures returned once again, this time greater in number. Kali had a responsibility beyond just protecting the Sands, she had to protect the timeline of all worlds and keep her people safe.

Even before the Lord stepped down, some of these creatures managed to sneak by the front lines and escape into various time lines for various worlds. This meant that many Keepers that could be fighting and protecting were forced to go to this times and seek out the creatures to keep them from changing the course of history.
CURRENT POSITION:
Kali currently reigns as the Keeper and Lord of Time. Even though she is young for her kind, having been the previous Lord's youngest daughter (he bore at least 400 children), she was the one that seemed to share her father's love and passion for the different timelines. Learning that it was the youngest Keeper that had been given this tremendous power, the creatures began targeting her, for they believed her to be weak compared to the last Lord.

With creatures, unseen by the Keepers before, encroaching on the Cave of Time, somehow getting further beyond the front lines than any other, Kali had to act. She gathered up items from various timelines that she felt would cause the biggest impact should those times be infiltrated and she jumped time. However, being her first time jumping time, especially with items from various differing timelines, she had no way to know what would happen.

The items were scattered to various timelines, many not even matching the time in which they appeared in. Among those items was an item precious to Kali, one that was precious to her people, one that told them who they were and contained their memories. That item was also thrown into a timeline, unknown to the new Lord and Keeper of Time. This has left Kali stranded in the timelines she was sworn to protect and could not meddle with, without knowing who she really is.
REMEMBERING THE PAST:
The truths of the Sands, the truths of a lie, the truths of my life lay within the skies. Though she is known by the name 'Kali', her full name is Kalidromu, the youngest daughter to the Keeper of Time. She is the youngest of at least 400 children for the Keeper of Time is an ancient beast who has taken many suitors during his time. His offspring create the many of our race, the other offspring of his mates creating the rest, for he only ties himself to one life mate while breeding with many others.

Though her father is ancient and an immortal being, that does not leave him fit to rule for all eternity, for you see, the treasures of days past are collected within the Sands of Time and with those treasures are their memories. The immortal races that reside within the Sands of Time can tap into these memories and relive them, something that has driven my father insane over the last few millenia. He continued to rule, the other ancient races, though they feared his mental stability, said nothing and our people were often left out of major decisions.

Life within the Sands of Time was peaceful for many generations. Eventually, though, they came under the eye of those we did not know; the power the Keepers held over time and the treasures that within our land becoming a target for being able to relive those days meant that one could change them. There was no immediate threat Kali and her kin defended their home until one day, her father decided to appoint his youngest daughter the next to rule his people and suddenly vanished. The decision was deemed to be made due to the insanity of the ancient Lord and the other races batted no eye when the attacks to the Sands of Time began to increase.

The Keepers were spread thin as they fought along the borders, though it was clear their target lay deeper within their lands, within our lair, within Kali. Upon being appointed the leader of their people, she was given the power to control time much as her father had. She was able to tap into the relics of time far beyond any other being or race could and it was that power that was sought after.

In a race to save her people and time itself, Kali jumped, taking with me the relics of past that could cause the most harm to the timeline should they fall into the wrong hands. During the jump, the new Lord of Time called for help, pleading for anyone that listened to save her, to save time. Those that had come were not like anything that had come before them; they were ruthless and deceived what they appeared to be, they were lies and pure, kind and cruel.

LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT HISTORY: What is there to hate about history? For Kali, it would probably be how her people are not supposed to interfere with anything which means they really should not be venturing into the times that they watch over.
FAVORITE HISTORICAL ERA/PERIOD: The times of Pompeii. Though the nation was similar to that of Ancient Rome, everything seemed far more beautiful there.
THEME SONG: Beautiful Times by Owl City
FAMILY: I am only one of many, the youngest of forty at least as far as I know, though there could always be more. Perhaps when my father told me that number, he missed a zero as there appears to be many more he calls his kin than those he doesn't. I do not know much of my siblings though as they are all hundreds of years old than me.

Yes, I did say hundreds for my people are not human. We are an ancient and immortal race, our immortality stemming from the very power that our father holds within him.

Our forms may change upon our desire, though we tend to stick with our true forms and that of the humanoid races we may find ourselves around. Our true form? Oh how the fickle mind could not handle the magnificent golden scales and wings of leather that we are truly connected to. But that is all you shall be told of, for one from the Sands of Time shall not reveal their true form to those of fickle mind for the relics alone are enough to put a bounty on our heads.
PET PEEVE(S): None of any real note, then again, she hasn't been around any other than her own kind and they were too busy doing their jobs. They all seemed to be in sync with each other so maybe among humans, this could change.
