Hey Ponta :D

Welcome to the event, I hope it goes well for you ^^
Hmmm I think my first even was the Celes Paradi event
I found it a little strange, since I wasn't used to chatting with people in events xD;;
Garghh my Halloween sucked pretty bad, did nothing - didn't even get any Trick or Treaters... We don't really celebrate it here in New Zealand >:

Hello Sahara!
Happy halloween to you too! I hope you have fun tonight :D

@Ponta
Hello and Happy Halloween! ^^
I won't be celebrating as well, we don't celebrate it here where I live. xD'

@Sahara
Happy Halloween!

@ dreamer

Yeah ^^ Its okay here, a little boring - like we don't celebrate many things. Fireworks are banned all year besides three days... and yeah. Not much fun xD;; They're even thinking about banning smoking - so you have to do it in your own home. That's a bit hard out... Not that i even smoke but its how strict this country is getting... whats it like where you live?

Aww, that does suck - Halloween has always been something I grew up with so I'm a bit sad that I'm not home with my friends and family. For two years I had been giving out candy to kids and now my mom is doing it this year. I was talking to her on the phone and sounded really excited but some-what frustrated that not many had come by yet. I should call her now to see if she got anymore kids stop by. She was handing out lots of things from candy to skull straws to even mini things of play-doh.

@ ponta

Wow - it'd be so great to have something you grow up with. We kinda have this thing called Guyfawkes, where we set off fireworks for the night, to celebrate an attempt at blowing up a parliament house... Not much relevance to this country but its so much fun. Each year its getting closer and closer to being banned though, thanks to people being irresponsible with the fireworks >: Besides christmas there isn't really anything else i've grown up with.

Awww i hope your next halloween is better =) its so sweet that your mum is giving the kids candy. My grandmother was very much like that, getting frustrated with the lack of kids and everything - she'd wait all night, and maybe only get two or three groups of kids. What does your mother do with the spare candy? Wow sounds like she gives out really neat things too! Play-dohhhh!!! How exciting! Did you ever got trick or treating yourself?

I'm out to have dinner, guys. brb o/

@Nivvy
Well, it's pretty messy here. xD I guess we are too liberal, or at least we should be more strict with criminals and such...
I guess we should find a nice ballance between our countries lol

@Ponta
Awwn, I'm sorry to hear that. ;-; I hope we can help make up a bit and help you have at least a little fun. C:
We have some family celebrations, like Easter and Christmas, but there isn't a children-oriented celebration here like Halloween seems to be. I've even seen some religious people bashing Halloween, saying it's evil and such. I get so mad when I hear intolerant things like this!

@Chikuma
Happy Halloween!

Thanks so much for chatting here guys while my mom and I went to the grocery store.

She also got me a soda and a chicken sandwich from Mcdonalds since I didn't get to eat anything for lunch.

And hello Nivvy and paper! What's up?

Not much. n___n
Just trying to mediate between family members. Holidays are always kind of hectic for the family. Everyone goes a little bonkers.

How about you? I haven't seen you in a while; how's life?

Is Halloween a huge holiday for your family or something?

I am good. I failed two of my midterms, but I am trying to get back on track and study a bit each day, I mean, after my second midterm for another class on Monday and after I finish making my study cards for one of the two classes.

Yeesh, that can't be good.
I don't know how I did on a Chemistry midterm; sadly, I imagine it's not too well. But worst case scenario is that I don't boost my GPA. There's a chem lab that is just...godawful. It's physically upsetting to have to go each Friday. T___T

Mm, not necessarily. My father likes to decorate the house for Hallowe'en, except he makes the rest of the family do it and dictates everything, which makes us all pretty angry. And he snapped at some trick-or-treaters earlier, so we're becoming the house on the block with that mean old man, hahaha.

Good luck with the rest of your classes, though. I hope you pull up your grades!

I did get a B+ on one midterm and a C on the other.

And in the classes I failed the tests, in one we had our first group project a few weeks ago and my group got a B, so that's good. And we have another group project to present on Tuesday too and I think we will do well.

Also, I have a paper to write in the other class that I did bad on the midterm, so that should help me. I am gonna try my best!

You'll do great!
I wrote a paper for a friend a few days ago. English is generally pretty easy, but those classes make you do a lot of group work and busy work.

Don't do papers for your friends. What the heck will that teach them then? TO just always make sure to be friends with smart people or always know someone who will be willing to do the work for you? lol.

Not!

To be trying, means doing the work yourself. Oh well. I do all of my work myself. I may not get super fantastic grades, but I earned them at least.

But it's whatever you guys wanna do.

Guess either my thread fell off the first page or no one wants to chat with me anymore.
