I always enjoy Easter. While not my favorite holiday it is still very enjoyable for me.

Lexadis ~ we live in an area where we are a minority as far as religion is concerned and it can be difficult for my kids. However, we've also been pleasantly surprised by how welcoming a few have been. I know you're dealing with something scary, but it may not be as bad as you think.

My thoughts in relation to that:

It is sooo weird that pale white skinned Caucasians want to be tan while most others who have a tan and are not Caucasian desire pale white skin...

My background is North East Asian...so my natural skin colour is kind of slight yellowish tan pale. I don't mind, though I wish I did have clearer complexion...ah well.

People with tans look weird to me. :/

I am too prone to freckles and just don't tan. Plus it looks weird. Too many tanning salons here and too many people - men and women - who look like oompa loompas

Gross. I so much prefer pale skin, but I'm totally comfortable with my skin color. No problems with it at all. I'm not super dark but definitely not light.

I hear that if it's 20 degrees celsius and a sunny day the people in Northern Europe would dress for summer and sunbathe at the beach.
