Ugh. Guys, it's raining so much today. I have to ride my bike to work and then proceed to work for 8hrs outside in all this Today is going to royally suck.

It was raining buckets, and I got drenched to the bone riding my bike to work. But I have full rain gear, so once I changed into work clothes and rain gear I was comfortably dry :) And I got booped on the nose by a giraffe, and it made the day totally worth it
It was so cute! It took all my will power to not squeal in excitement, because I know it would have scared her. I just lightly giggled to myself in a really creepy way. Hahaha.
That's true. One of the fortunate things about having the night shift is that I am the only person there, and thus I can talk and laugh to myself/animals aaaalll I want. I had a good laugh at zebra today, because we both scared the shit out of each other. My laughter only made him feel more uneasy, though. xP He's like "what is this strange sound I never hear?"
ahaha, that sounds so awesome! i know whenever i'm alone at home i talk to myself and the cats like crazy. xD poor confuzed zebra, tho... how did you guys scare each other?
I shifted them in and have to come in behind them real quick to shut a second door behind them, but he walked in and turned around, and we were suddenly face to face. Neither of us was expecting it! He turned around and started bucking and running, and I frantically tried to shut the door before I got my ass beat. lol
Thanks, hums. Yeah, it was all good, but the shock on both our faces must have been priceless. I just started busting out laughing after I shut the door, and couldn't seem to stop. I checked in on him and he was standing there looking around like "what is happening right now?" but that just made me laugh more.
Dang, I missed the entire event! Was only able to get the first EI.
Phew, two weeks into the new job, and I'm loving it... just... blah. Wish I'd gotten through my first month before the V-Day Event, because I'm still all over the place/super busy. :<
I feel you, Facade @__@;; I was barely able to participate, since i've been swamped with work. No days off is exhausting. I'm so happy that you are enjoying the job! Must feel great to be working again, too.
lol Me too, ghost! I scared the wild dog pups tonight, too. They were all in front of me eating, and one started biting another on the neck, so I blew on it to distract it and they all were terrified and ran away. I started busting up laughing, and that just freaked them out more. Animals really aren't accustomed to laughter xP

I've become sick, so I'm feeling very sleepy as well u_u
My roommate had over a friend that was sick and coughing on everything. Never would cover her mouth. So my roommate got sick and I was managing to avoid it for a while, but with how much I've been working my immune system was too compromised and it managed to catch up with me. Uuugh. Hope it passes quickly. Been consuming so much Vit C.
In more uplifting news, I discovered for the first time yesterday that you are able to make cookies from cake mix. I bake so much, and never knew that. What have I been doing with my life? I happened to have a stupid amount of cake mixes because they were $1 for Valentine's day and frosting was just $1.50. But I don't really like cake and belatedly discovered we have no cupcake pan, BUT I sure do love me some cookies. So today I baked lemon cake mix with whipped cream and made the most bomb cookies. Y'all should give it a try if you never have before. So fluffy and good.
i'm sleepy too. -_- i did a lot of socializing today at the lgbt center on my campus, which is always draining for me but totally worth it because i'm making some really sweet friends. and i've been studying and doing homework a lot and i'm almost to the end of the week so i just wanna sleep forever. i'm taking phonology (basically the study of letters, letter sounds, and their distribution in words), Spanish 2, and Stats. it's all really fun, but a lot of hard work, and i'm a perfectionist so i'd really like to get all As.
