My rp request says I'm currently only looking for m/m unless a specific pairing says otherwise next to it. it's the only thing in bold. I just started an rp with someone and didn't specify orientation because it should have been a given. Their character is a female.

They say rp request and that was it.

but you literally have to read some of it. I won't respond if someone just posts that they want an rp and not which of my pairings or plots they want to do. People read half the post. In order to read those parts, you can't completely avert your eyes from the big bold words one line above it.

the way I see it, bold is really obvious on this site. The human eye is built to read sized and bold things before anything else. It's the way graphic design works.

well that's your experience. My experience is that rpers scan a thread for three different things and skip the rest, but orientation is one of them. pairings, orientation, and post length/quality. Because you might literally never get to start an rp ever again if you don't look for them. We have a certain ability to gossip about others we hate.

eh. noob has a bad connotation. It's not the same as newbie. I think a lot of people skip real noob status and that most noobs are that way because they don't care to improve.

everyone does...but I don't think everyone's is noticeably bad. Just moments, not a whole phase. I wasn't bad like that!

I mean some people are worse than others yes.
