My mom didn't speak English until she was an college aged adult. I really need to re-learn my German ( maternal family language) I'm so sad I "lost it", but it can be hard to pick a language back up later. It takes a lot of time and effort.

we had to write journals/tell our class what we did over the weekend. i would always tell them my "sister" didn't live with me and she lived downstairs with her parents. my teachers probably thought i was insane or in a soap opera drama or something because i said i had parents and she had parents but they were not the same parents. i think for a whole 3 years people thought i had majooooor family issues.

Well, her English is pretty broken. But she taught me the basics so I wouldn't be completely lost to be thrown into a world of English. :3

All three threads that I checked that I frequent has Iku as the top poster. And Iku's post amount is also like, at least 3000 more than the second.
