Prior to getting my laptop, I used oC for the majority of my stuff. I use Painter 7 now (and still getting used to it.. I'm so spoiled with oC hahaha). I'd use the later versions of Painter, but I got the educational version of Painter 7 at school for super-cheap 8D <3

Ah okay! <3 I'm still new to drawing programs, so I try asking around about them when I can, though practice will probably make me more comfortable with either of them. *haha*

I'm a sucker for textures and the paintery style CGs, so I really love the older entries you have on Vox. Especially the Nodame one... *__*

It's okay! It's all about personal preference, too. I only use Photoshop for editing my pictures afterwards, although I know there're a lot of people that use Photoshop for the actual drawing itself.

I'm still getting used to Painter and its capabilities. I look at other people's tutorials and then build up my style from there :3

I wish I could say yes, but I've only heard of Nodame. ;_; I don't have a lot of time anymore to drown myself into fandoms like I used to.

I only really use Photoshop to clean up my scans since I'm so messy and inking digitally would be a pain. xD I tried to used Photoshop for drawing/inking, but for some reason my tablet's pressure sensitivity doesn't work in it, even if I set it to be pressure sensitive. @_@ It works fine for Painter and OC, but I can never get it to work in Photoshop. That's pretty much the main reason why I want to try OC and Painter more. *haha*

I know how you feel. A lot of the things I've been watching have been put on hold because of school (and other personal things... I have all the episodes to the dramas/anime I want to watch on my boyfriend's external HD, all dormant and untouched! ;___; ).

Your tablet doesn't work with pressure in Photoshop? What kind of tablet do you have?

I have a Wacom Graphire4. It could be because the level of sensitivity isn't as high as the Intuos, but more than likely, it's probably because I need more practice with it. :']

My boyfriend would kill me if I used his external HDD for my anime/manga/dramas. XDD I completely filled my 260GB external with all the animes that sounded interesting, but I always feel so guilty when I watch them, because I know I should be doing more important things. (Such as homework haha) Maybe on some holiday I'll be able to have a marathon, but a lot of teachers right now plan homework for the holidays.

It's like "Darn it! It's called winter BREAK!" D:

And the laptop clock is off because it's actually 3am now. XD I'm in Hong Kong visiting family.
