No, you don't get to choose the item you win, unless you win one of the 'event commons' slots on level 3. I will draw everyone's numbers and based on the order your number is drawn is what item you get.

Yes, you can sell them, give them away, hoard them.. whatever you want. They will be your items, no strings attached.
